Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
.Come stay in a 1985 Grumman Olsen bread truck reimagined as a one-of-a-kind tiny home on wheels. Picture a gorgeous modern-farmhouse interior wrapped in an antique rustic exterior. Add 5 acres of forest and you get the Château Camion. It’s quiet, private, and full of character; a creative little retreat for guests who want something more memorable than a boring, overpriced hotel room. ... Inside, the truck has everything needed for a comfortable stay: a couch that converts into a full bed, a kitchenette for preparing simple meals, a small work station and a hot indoor shower. Just outside, the outhouse includes an electric-flush cassette toilet. An outdoor seating area tucked among the trees offers a peaceful place to relax during the day or gaze at the stars at night. ... Guests are welcome to explore the full five-acre property and make use of the outdoor spaces throughout their stay. Settle into the hammock beneath old growth trees, take a swing on a park style bench, enjoy a meal at the picnic table or wind down beside the propane fire pit on those chilly summer evenings. ... Please note, there are two powerful roof fans and two cross-breeze windows to help keep you cool in the summer. However, there is no air conditioning. On hotter days, it's suggested you spend time outside at nearby Millersylvania State Park where they have trails and a gorgeous lake. We are also only a 5-10 minute drive from major amenities like restaurants and sightseeing attractions including the State Capitol.
