We have noticed an influx of owners that do not let us know and show up with dogs as we need to go over additional information. There is no additional fee but since we have livestock roaming freely around the property, to ensure their safety, long leads are highly encouraged especially if dogs do not have exceptional training and recall. AMENITIES/THINGS TO DO:
-There is a communal bunkhouse on property available to guests with a flushable toilet and a hot water shower. It also includes a kitchenette and we welcome you to use any of the kitchen/cookware and appliances. Our 2 Frenchies also stay in this building but they love humans and all the attention you can give them!
-There is an infrared sauna that can sit up to 3 people located next to the yurt accompanied by a cold plunge as an add-on.
-You are welcome to wander around the entire property and grab fruit daily from the trees when in season or have us get you farm fresh eggs from the coop to eat for breakfast.
-Say hello to the animals (sheep, goats, chickens, cats and dogs) or go for a walk/run around the countryside roads with walking/running/biking adventures available to you along the beautiful and paved Foothills Trail extending from Enumclaw to Puyallup.
-Communal fire pit areas with picnic table and chairs available when fire ban is not in effect. We have a moveable metal one which we can transport to your camp spot if preferred. We sell a large milkcrate full of wood for $10 if needed.

We have an acre of land with an orchard, grapes, blueberries, raspberries, tons of flowers and peace and quiet except for some traffic on Veazie Cumberland Rd. There is a tree farm across the street from the campsite and a blueberry farm across Veazie. Picking time for blueberries is end of July into August. Deep lake is four miles from our house as well as Kanaskit State Park with a river. Mt Rainier is about 45 minutes away. Mt Peak, 1000 ft hike, is 4 miles toward Enumclaw from us.

The town center is anchored by three parks filled with giant maples and evergreens. You will be awed by the view of Mt. Rainier from Washington Avenue.
The levees on the east and west sides of town are perfect for hikes along the rivers. The 20 mile Foothills Trail meanders right through the middle of town and then takes you along the Carbon River levee. Bike, walk, take the stroller and the family pet. Enjoy the turn-of-the-century architecture of downtown and eat at one of the 15 restaurants.
If your timing is right you can take part in the Daffodil festival and parade the first Saturday of April. The Kingsmen Car show comes to town the third Saturday in June. Then there is the Pumpkin festival the second weekend of October. Finally the year is capped off with the Christmas festival throughout December. Then there are the many foot and bike races that take place on the foothills trail throughout the year.

This is a stand alone structure that is separate from our main house. There is no shower in this dry space, but there is a camping sink that functions like a normal kitchen sink with hot water capacity. Also, “Ms Pacman's Backyard Glampsite” is a converted shed, so be ready for some lower ceilings and narrow spaces. The lofted full bed is cozy, so don’t bob your head on the way out! The bed has a six inch memory foam mattress with extra blankets and pillows available. Everything is washed with free and clear laundry detergent for any sensitivities.
We provide a small refrigerator, a 2 burner stove with pots and pans for light cooking, coffee making supplies (reusable keurig pods or pour over coffee along with creamers and sugars), wine openers, dishes, and more. We have 2 tables where you can enjoy meals and games either indoors or outdoors.
You will be one block away from Highland Park which has a tennis court and baseball field. Less than a mile north, you can explore the West Duwamish Greenbelt Trails. Only two blocks south of the property is Westcrest Park that hosts a community garden, a dog park, and small trails in their greenbelt. This cozy cottage is equipped with a queen size bed in a lovely sleeping loft, a small but useful kitchen, a large trex deck with patio furniture, a comfy couch and small dining table. The separate, but luxurious, bath house has a full sized shower, sink, and fully plumbed flushing toilet. There is even a small stacked washer and dryer available. Laundry soap available for purchase. Name brand (no dollar store stuff here) shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided.
A cozy heater keeps the tiny house warm on cool days, but there is no air conditioning. The shady woods stay nice and cool, and there are lots of screened windows to let in the breeze. The sleeping loft also has two screened windows and a fan if the nights are warm.

The bed has 100% cotton sheets, pillow cases, and blanket. As well as a comfy coverlet. A feather alternative duvet is available for colder nights.
There is only one bed and it is not recommended for small children to sleep in the loft as there is no safety rail or gate up there. If a child is present it is recommended (almost required) that they sleep on the couch in the lower living space.

Wonderful place to stay for our anniversary! My partner and I enjoyed the beautiful views and outdoor tub. Mary and Llyod were excellent hosts! Jenel & Kohay's tiny home is an absolute gem. The place is private and has a variety of amenities for a very comfortable stay, including a kitchenette. It was lovely to wake up amongst the different farm animals and wildlife. Jenel and Kohay are so welcoming and accommodating and made us feel like we stayed with them not at their property, but at their home. We arrived as strangers and left as friends. We cant wait to return for round two. I can't recommend their place enough. Thanks again for everything!

Jenel and Khohay were such great hosts! They had really good recommendations, were so accommodating and helpful and we had such fun interactions with them.
The cabin itself is quite cozy and really well put together. The farm vibe was serene and calming - all in all a perfect weekend getaway. Can’t wait to be back :)

What a wonderful overall experience! I was first met by Jim and Elona, two wonderful beings, and then by two very happy, sweet and cuddly cats! I was given a tour of the property and was cheered up by Jim, and was astonished by the property, the pictures don't quite do it justice! What an amazing spot full of beauty and art, some from an on-site artist! The heated bed was absolutely incredible, a must-have in any future bed of my own! Loved hearing the birds and bugs singing outside my safe home for the night, and being able to cook with good tunes from nature ;p
The shower room was beautiful and felt like aromatherapy with the cedar wood infusing the space!!!! Would love to venture back some time soon!!!

Weekend Trip to AYH Ranch Campground & Lodging
This is lovelier than pictures can depict. Just the perfect getaway for families or groups of friends. The barn and field are great assets, and we had a lovely night of s’mores. When we left, my son said, “This was not what I expected, but it was so much fun!” Thank you!

The little cabin was peaceful and well thought out! I loved the little touches of whimsy throughout the property and having the trail so close by was convenient. I slept really well and it was nice to have more comforts than tent camping. Plus waking up to the symphony of birds was incredible! My pups also loved their stay. I’ll definitely be returning!

We loved staying in the “tiny” cabin! The property has so much to offer from trails weaving through new and old growth forests to a private bath over looking the cascades during sunset to a luxurious sound bath. Mary and Lloyd are so kind and welcoming!

2 nights at The Village at Rainier
Cute little cabin close to Mt Rainier National Park. Slept here in their loft memory foam mattress. Brought our own pillows. Overall comfortable sleep. Kitchenette is equipped with essentials. Made coffee and stored yogurt cups in the mini fridge. Ate dinner out so we didn't cook all that much there. Loved spending time by the fire. Definitely a glamping experience since the shower is outside.

It was perfect! The big bed was so comfy. Great for the dog to just chill or play fetch off leash. The nearby pizza place is delicious and has a nice walk down to the river. The cabin is so well thought out and there is whimsical surprises all about, be sure to wander to the end of the cabin road 😉 There was mini fridge, microwave which i couldn't figure out but didn't really need, little fans, heat, water, clean toilet. While it is next to the trail and just below a house it felt private. It was just what we needed and I had wished it wouldn't have been booked or we would have stayed 2 nights.

Beaver Cabin (#1) is a wonderful, cozy place! The loft (up the ladder) with the beds was a special touch for my teen grandsons! The cabin is VERY small, so just be prepared to 'crunch-in'. We enjoyed the challenge!
Outdoors is great with the BBQ fire-pit...picnic table, and the hot tub an added comfort! Didn't take very long to get to Paradise & Rainier. Thanks you, Janet

“Tiny” was unexpectedly cozy! Which was very appreciated as the weather turned out to be terrible for the days we planned our get away. Mary went above and beyond as a host while we tried to make the most of our time despite the cold and rainy weather, even lending us a few card games to play during our stay. I love how secluded their property feels but at the same time, the hosts were available and helpful.

Weekend Trip to Fern Gully Retreat
We really enjoyed our time at fern gully. There's a nice little hiking trail on the property with open areas to relax and just enjoy the peace and quiet. Staying in the Airstream was great and is convenient to lots of wilderness areas to hike in. Brad was very responsive and attentive to our needs. Thanks for a great stay.
