A couple notes about your stay:
-We have an off-leash farm doggie named, Saorsa, (pronounced Seer-sha) she is extremely friendly and excited to greet you! She will bark when you arrive, and possibly at other moments of interaction but she responds quickly to sweet invitations and affection.
-We are currently asking guests to pack out recycling. We can take trash and compost.
-You are welcome to bring your own firewood and make a fire in the communal fire pit as long as there is no fire ban in effect!

Rural farm camp in Yakima's west valley. This relaxed campsite is bordered by fruit orchards and farms on a very quiet dead end road. Over two acres of field grass surrounding by rolling hills with views of farms, cows, horses, and the eastern foothills of the Cascade mountains.
There is a 1/2 acre pond on the camp property with frogs, turtles, wild birds and wild ducks and geese drop in all the time. Very quiet and peaceful out here, the frogs will sing you to sleep and that's about the only sound you will hear.
There is power and water hooks up at 2 of 3 camp sites. Multiple tent sites , restroom available
Two large and level RV spots are graveled and can accommodate your 5th wheel, diesel pusher, trailer or toy hauler. The third RV/camp spot is grass but also large and level. This grass spot is dry camping but water is available from nearby spigot and a generator is also available for rent at $20/night.
Forgot your wood? No problem, firewood is always available $ 5.00/bundle. There are fire rings at each site for your use (unless burn ban in effect)
Camp host always has plenty of S'mores supplies (complimentary of course) for that campfire treat. :)
Visit our hen house! We have laying hens with fresh eggs daily for your breakfast. Bring the kids, wooden play structure and swing set are ready for family fun.

Kayaking, paddle boarding, river rafting, and jet skiing all easy drive from this camp. Own a boat or jet ski? bring it, plenty of space to park your boat and watercraft trailer.
If you are into quads, motorcycle riding or 4x4 off-roading this place is perfect. There are forest service roads and trail riding nearby. Jeep and off road groups come from all over the state to ride in the foothills, just 30 minutes away.
Winter time campers are welcome too!
Winter access is easy, county road to entrance of Hipcamp is plowed by county road crews and as host I have tractor 🚜 to plow the camp area prior to your arrival.
Snowmobiles are welcome in winter and you get a reduced nightly rate. Ride and play in the snow around the camp property or drive 20 minutes to foothills with trails and forestry roads open to sleds. Bring the whole group, plenty of room on this property for as many as 20 rigs and trailers.

Nestled at the foothills of Mount Rainier, we are a serene farm 45 miles away from Seattle, 36 min drive away from the Mt Rainier Carbon River entrance, 1 hour from the Crystal Mountain Resort, and 1 hour 30 minutes from the Sunrise Visitor Center.
I live here with my partner Khohay who now takes care of his family farm which used to be his late aunts Soma Institute of Structural Integration school (now ran by his brother on Whidbey Island).
We are constantly doing projects around the property to restore, improve and preserve the beauty that it has to offer and would love to share it with other people as we go!
AMENITIES/THINGS TO DO:
-There is a communal bunkhouse on property available to guests with a flushable toilet and a hot water shower. It also includes a kitchenette and we welcome you to use any of the kitchen/cookware and appliances. Our 2 French Bulldogs also stay in this building but they love humans and all the attention you can give them!
-We have a wellness yurt with well equipped gym that is available to use as an add-on.
-There is an infrared sauna that can sit up to 3 people located next to the yurt accompanied by a cold plunge as an add-on.
-You are welcome to wander around the entire property and grab fruit daily from the trees when in season or have us get you farm fresh eggs from the coop to eat for breakfast.
-Say hello to the animals (sheep, goats, chickens, piggy, cats and dogs) or go for a walk/run around the countryside roads with walking/running/biking adventures available to you along the beautiful and paved Foothills Trail extending 21 miles from Buckley to Puyallup.
-Communal fire pit areas with picnic table and chairs available when fire ban is not in effect. There is one close to the communal kitchen area, one closer to the field by the barn, and we have a moveable metal one which we can transport to your camp spot if preferred. We sell a milkcrate full of wood for $10 if needed.
-WIFI is available closer to the communal area.

This 1950s picker's cabin is located in Naches Heights among orchards and vineyards. Cowiche Canyon and hiking trails adjacent. Close to White Pass and the Tieton, Naches and Yakima rivers. A little about Orting - Nestled in the foothills of Mt Rainier between the Puyallup and Carbon Rivers, Orting is a quaint Turn-of-the-Century village that you will not forget.
The town center is anchored by three parks filled with giant maples and evergreens. You will be awed by the view of Mt. Rainier from Washington Avenue.
The levees on the east and west sides of town are perfect for hikes along the rivers. The 20 mile Foothills Trail meanders right through the middle of town and then takes you along the Carbon River levee. Bike, walk, take the stroller and the family pet. Enjoy the turn-of-the-century architecture of downtown and eat at one of the 15 restaurants.
If your timing is right you can take part in the Daffodil festival and parade the first Saturday of April. The Kingsmen Car show comes to town the third Saturday in June. Then there is the Pumpkin festival the second weekend of October. Finally the year is capped off with the Christmas festival throughout December. Then there are the many foot and bike races that take place on the foothills trail throughout the year.

We had a wonderful stay, sad we didn't get a longer visit. There is tons of places to explore and we would definitely love to come back.
The folks were helpful, kind and welcoming. Definitely has a family friendly welcome. The yurt was warm even though it was pouring all night long. First night we left heat on low, second night we left it off. They have probably one of the most well appointed kitchens we have ever seen, big and roomy. There are games and books and seating. Big family style table for games and dining. Like home away from home with loads of hiking trails near by. We brought our dogs and they had a blast.
Next time we come to visit I wont be in class all day.
We cannot say enough about how beautiful it is in camp and the surrounding area.

This place is glamping at its absolute best. It has everything you need and more, yet you feel at one with nature. My wife and I stayed for one night with the idea of shutting away from technology for the weekend and boy did it deliver. We ended up enjoying the view and just talking all night while listening to the rain. If you need a break from the real world, this is 100% the place to go. A huge thank you to the owner.

This place is awesome! Dawson has done an amazing job with creating the space. It has everything you could need!
You can really tell a lot of thought has gone into the place and a lot of work has been involved. We had the best time and were so cozy together. We were lucky to have rain over night and it was so peaceful listening to the rain on the roof as we fell asleep.
The directions provided made it very easy to find and a couple of wagons and a lantern are available to help you get your things out to the cabin.
As we came in November, we didn’t get the opportunity to use the outdoor space. But we still braved using the shower and it’s worth it, so toasty and incredible views!
Inside is cozy and comfortable. The kitchenette has everything you could need. That bed though! So comfy, as someone who deals with chronic pain, I really appreciate how comfortable the bed is!
It was really nice to get off grid a little and put our phones away for the night.
We had such a good time we are definitely looking to come back again next year in the summer hopefully!

Staying at the Sweetheart Cabin was the PERFECT autumn weekend getaway! It was stormy and rainy outside a lot of the time, but that just made the cozy cabin even better with the wood stove, string lights, candles, and blankets. My boyfriend and I stayed at the Sweetheart Cabin for a night during our first trip to rainier and it was excellent! Khohay was super friendly and talkative and an amazing host. The cabin was super comfortable and cozy. We heard elk at night too which was super cool! Definitely recommend for anyone trying to escape the city and explore Rainier and the surrounding nature.

Lies and Deception / The Worst Experience Ever

I'm an avid camper, and the experience I had at this campground with the host was ABSOLUTELY THE WORST ever. We arrived at the campground early & carefully selected a spot. I took a photo of both the envelope with payment and the receipt clipped at the site. After exploring the national park, we arrived at the campground at around 9pm. To our surprise, there was a group of people who took our campsite! When I checked the pole where I clipped the receipt, it was GONE & REPLACED by someone else's!! When I talked to those people who took our campsite, there were already drunk and were at the verge of becoming hostile. But they told us that the host "allowed" them to take the spot. We went to the host and he said (1) we never paid and that (2) there was no receipt clipped at the site. When I told him that that wasn't true, he proceeded to tell me that the information I wrote on the clip let him know that we were checking out today. So, for a second, I thought maybe I wrote either the # of nights spent or check-out date incorrectly. But then, I remembered I took pictures of both the envelope and the receipt!! I showed the photos to him, then, of course, he could not lie his way out of this. We did not want to spend another second there, so we demanded a refund, and "MIRACULOUSLY", the envelope (still glued) with our payment was found in his RV. I'm reporting the host to the US Forest Service.

Great campground with lots of river spots , and a great short hike to the crystal clear waters of the blue pool swimming hole if you can handle the cold water. But on a hot day you do get used to it. I’d go back again for sure

Fantastic day trip with family
There are several trails for 4x4 vehicles, mountain biking or hiking to enjoy. Not only is there a gorgeous river running through to picnic near with fast moving falls, it has a high peak looking over miles and several Oregon and Washington peaks from Gumboot Mountain peak.

The fireplace is propane. When we called the ranger station they told us it was wood burning, I can confirm that it is definitely propane. There’s still wood stocked at the cabin, but there’s literally no place to burn wood.

A beautiful campground with clean vault toilet and potable water. There is path from our campsite that join the bigger loop around the campground and access to the river. We were there after the July 4th holiday so it was quiet. We chose this campground as a base to explore the East side of Mount St Helens. It takes about an hour to reach the hiking trails and viewpoints for St Helens. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed this location. Lake was low in October, but still lots of fish biting. Campsites are hilly and most don't have a ton of flat ground real estate so plan accordingly.

Just camped here for three nights. It's great if you don't mind the HORRENDOUSLY LOUD noise of the logging trucks going by at all times of the day especially in the early morning when you might be trying to sleep. Not the best way to enjoy the peacefulness of nature.

Beautiful campground and in a central location to get to nice hikes and attractions. The portable water is not suitable for drinking so bring your own. We pumped out some and it looked like watered down apple juice. We used our water filter to filter it, the water was clear for a day, but tasted like iron. It also starting getting yellow again after a day. When we cleaned out our filters at home they were full of brown gunk.
We would stay there again and bring our own water.

Great campground with lots of privacy. It is somewhat primitive, with only vault toilets and no electricity or hookups, but the grounds are well maintained and each campsite has a fire ring. We really enjoyed our long weekend here.
The hiking loop around the campground and along the river was enjoyable and easy enough for kiddos. There are some beautiful old growth trees to be seen, and the river is gorgeous.

Nice little clean campground. 8 miles up the road is the "Oklahoma" Campground which is maintained by the same group. No bugs. Great hiking on the "Monte Carlo Trail No. 52. Steep elevation on the hike but a beautiful view of Mt. Hood and Mt. Adams.

Twin Falls is a great campground. It’s beautiful and clean. I’ve been twice and there are very few people who come here.
Be prepared to be cold!!! I have camped here in July and August and it was really cold the entire time on both occasions. Bring multiple layers and lots of warm and dry clothes, as if you get wet your clothes may not dry in time to wear them again.
Bring extra toilet paper, sanitizer, and BABY WIPES!!! The toilet is literally on top of a hole over a big septic tank. It doesn’t flush. I had the unfortunate experience of splash back so MAKE SURE you have a way to clean yourself should that happen!!!
You have to bring everything you need to this campground and Pack out or burn your garbage.

Great, large but secluded spot. Camped at E 6 along the right along the river. Fire ban was in place so I assume late night vibe might be different had they been allowed. Pretty basic amenities, the bathrooms look newer. Its out there though bring everything you think you would need.

If driving in on SW 503, buy firewood (and anything else you need) at the Eagle Cliff Camp Store in Northwoods. It's your last chance before you get to Lower Falls.

Moss is a beautiful campground and only 20 minutes from Hood River Oregon!!!! Windsurfing, white water rafting, kayaking!!! Just minutes away!!! And there's 16 sites available and you can have fires!!!

Awesome campground out of the way from everything. The road there is a little rough if you don't have a vehicle built for it. Pit toilets and pump water. If you can bring plenty of water and wood. The falls will be awesome once the water level goes down. The campsites vary in size and some are only for The.

Camped here over Memorial Day weekend and WOW! It was everything we hoped for and more. The sites were large and had quite a bit of tree covering so it made it feel like no one was around! A quick walk and we were right by lower falls which was RAGING because of the fantastic winter that we have had. One thing to note, DO NOT follow google's directions as the address is incorrect, make sure to follow the coordinates! For sure will plan to go back!

Sunset Campground was a great spot for a weekend getaway from Portland. Our site was big enough to fit two tents comfortably and the campground had places where you could set up corn hole or other games.

The yellow jackets (aka: meat bees) are crazy dense at certain times of year. They go to bed at night, but they're seriously unpleasant dining companions. Those who are allergic should totally avoid this place.
