Seven acres of orchard, garden, miscellaneous trees and bushes, and goats and chickens surrounded by the 700-acre Tryon Creek State Park (there's an access trail from our land) is accessible from your space in The Shack. You're welcome to explore the land and enjoy the communal fire pit in the Village Green, and have access to the shared Outdoor Kitchen that has a stove, sink, toaster oven, plates and utensils, and electric kettle, all in a central location. There's a compostable toilet 100 meters away, with an outdoor sink of gravity-fed rainwater. You're also welcome to use the facilitrees! (aka, pee in the woods) There's no shower available. Walking access is permitted, but you must keep pets on leash and keep an eye on your kids. Some of the equipment is big, heavy, and doesn't have the greatest visibility if people walk up un-noticed. Always ensure that the operator sees you, and don't place yourself anywhere where a log that comes loose could run you down. Operating Equipment alwasy has the right of way.

THE PROPERTY: Our campsites are on two beautiful ponds with a seasonal creek in an old growth cedar forest with a few trails to enjoy the stillness and magic of the woods. There are 11 acres with a vineyard, fruit orchard, large garden, cob garden wall for lounging, fire pit at the vineyard with several picnic tables and hammocks, a big open field above the camping area, and the beautiful cedar forest. *Coming Spring 2024: our newly remodeled Owl Cabin with treehouse, a large deck off the barn for music, dinners, yoga and gathering. We consider this land sacred. We are only caretakers passing through, and honor this place and the original people of this land: The Molalla, Clackamas, and Kalapuya tribes, who were "relocated" to the Grand Ronde Reservation in the mid 1800's. Please be mindful of the energy of the forest, and all the people and animals who still reside and have come before. The forest is home to beavers, coyote, deer, raccoons, salamanders, frogs, and many bird and bug species. Our dream is to share this land with all people to create community in harmony with nature and provide a safe space. We welcome, open heartedly, people of all gender identity or expression, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, and artistic expression. WHEN YOU ARRIVE: Proceed down our long driveway to the bottom. Take a left at the sport court, and a right at the pool. On your left is the woodshed with the "Calliope Farm" mural. You will see two parking spots to the left of the woodshed (Harmony Hollow parking) and two on the right (Hobbit Circle) You can unload here and grab a cart. Across from the parking, on the red barn, is the water station, and the hot tub sign up sheet. You will be walking/carting your things down to the forest where you will pass the outhouse on the left. For Harmony Hollow, after you cross the first bridge, take the path to the left and cross a second bridge and the campsite is on your right. For Hobbit Circle, cross the first bridge and walk around the pond, which will lead you to the campsite. The campsites are a short walk, (200 yards) but there is a decline, and you need to be a little hearty to walk back up the hill with your things. You will have a good amount of space and privacy for your group, but may encounter others visiting the forest as well. enjoy a social time while respecting that some come for quiet and reflection. We provide a picnic table, fire-pit and fire extinguisher. (with an option to purchase firewood) There is wood that can be found on the ground, but keep in mind we have very wet winters and springs. FIRE SAFETY: If you bring your own firewood, make sure it is DRY to avoid excess smoke. We respect fire bans, and take fire safety very seriously. (as well as our elderly neighbors). Be extra careful with cigarette sparks, and please keep your fire on the smaller side. We reserve the right to suddenly ban fires if it is feeling extra dry. Please do not burn smokey wood (oak or wet wood) and do not leave fires unattended. Please make sure fires are fully extinguished before retiring for the evening or departing. We wish to all work together for safety, with intelligence, common sense, and fire consciousness. WE HAVE TWO OUTHOUSES: One is the original outhouse from the 70's located behind the chicken coop and closer to the parking area. It is rustic but functional. The second one is a newer outhouse about a 3 minute walk from the campsites at the top of the small hill. These are pit toilets, and we provide sawdust or ash, toilet pape,r and a hand wash station and/or sanitizer. Please let us know if they need attention. OFFERINGS: We have a cedar hot tub, pool (seasonal), massage therapy, an outdoor shower, and wine. The charge for the pool and/or hot tub is $15 per person for 75 minutes of hot tub time. The pool is unheated, and is available any time after July 1st, and may be shared with us or other campers, but you must schedule the hot tub for privacy at the sign up sheet on the barn. If you would like to shower and not hot tub, the cost is $5 per shower, otherwise its included in the hot tub fee, and required for hot tub entrance. If you, or anyone in your group did not pay for a hot tub ahead of time, you will find a Venmo link on the barn, or can bring cash. HOT TUB: The hot tub sign up sheet is on the barn next to the water station. It is first come first serve. If you are a larger group using the tub, consider choosing a later spot for water displacement. If the hot tub is too hot, please add cold water from the hose to desired temp. PLEASE do not turn down the temperature on the hot tub, but use the cold water to create desired temp, but not below 102. If you are staying multiple nights and would like to hot tub again, the cost is $10 pp, instead of $15. Kids under 10 are $5 The hot tub is to the right of the house down by the garden. Your time is private, but we may need to visit/work in the garden. PLEASE read and be mindful of the hot tub etiquette posted in the hot tub area. WINE/VINEYARD: ~Silas Wines~ This is the original vineyard for Silas Wines founded in 2010. Our Pinot Noir vines are 40 year old Wadensville clone planted by the Ritter family in the early 80's. We have delicious Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, and Rosé for purchase. (Inquire upon arrival) You are welcome to walk the vineyard, and explore the front of the property. Our neighbor Beth, to the west, is a master gardener, and loves to give tours of her gardens or you can wander on your own. (please inquire) Dogs: Please let us know if you will be bringing a dog. We and our neighbors have chickens that are penned and free ranged. Please DO NOT allow your dog (or yourself) to roam on our neighbors property over the fence in the next field to the East. He is very friendly, and we have a good relationship, but that is his request. Please pick up after your dog. Please do not lose site of dog, and keep them on leash in common areas. Please do not leave your dog unattended at the campsite or anywhere on the property where they will bark and disturb other guests. THE CARAVAN SPOT: Please let us know if you are needing a van camping spot opposed to tent camping in the woods. We do have a few different options for car camping, and when booking select the "caravan spot". We also can split up your group if some are tent camping and others need van camping, but you would need to book the two different sites. Waterfall Sanctuary is a hidden gem at the end of a dead-end road on 17 acres of land, bordered on two sides by the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Located in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge just outside of Carson, Washington, Waterfall Sanctuary is home to a mini-farm with goats, ducks, and chickens. Deer and elk walk through the property on a fairly regular basis depending on the season, it's less than a mile walk (or a short drive) to the Wind River and a perfect swimming hole with a rope swing, and another short distance further down the road is the Pacific Crest Trail. A 20-minute drive and you're at the Columbia River, the world destination for kiteboarding and windsurfing. Water equipment can be rented from nearby businesses or you can book a whitewater rafting trip on the White Salmon River. An hour from the property to the West is Portland, Oregon if you are in the mood for some city life, and about 40 minutes to the east is Hood River, Oregon, a gorgeous old town with tons of charm, shopping, breweries, and great restaurants. Drive the Fruit Loop or do a winery tour. The closest town, Stevenson, Washington is also home to adorable shops, great local restaurants, and access to the Columbia River as well. Also in close proximity are multitudes of amazing waterfalls, Panther Creek Falls and Falls Creek Falls being the two closest. National Forest roads are close by and well maintained. No matter the season there is something to do a short distance from the property. Please, keep in mind that the property is very rugged except for the trails we have provided for our guests to be able to access other parts of the property. We keep it that way not only so we can attract the copious amounts of wildlife that are a joy for our guests to experience, but also to be more environmentally and ecosystem friendly. We are also off grid and as sustainable as possible- no electricity or running water is available, although we provide battery or solar operated lighting, and a container of water for each spot that we will happily refill for you during your stay.

We have 12 traditional camp sites that include picnic tables and fire pits that are spaced well apart to provide more privacy than you would ever get at a standard county, state or federal campground. Important to know: 1) A handful of the camp sites can accommodate up to 24 foot in length RV's and trailers pulled by a 4x4, camper vans, or trucks with campers. 2) Please reach out to us if you have additional questions about which sites would be best and why we insist on having a 4x4 pulling a trailer. 3) Also, overloaded minivans also have difficulties making it up the hill, but we can help. If that isn't enough, we are located close to many areas of interest. If you like disc golf, Trojan Park is only 8 minutes away. You can also jump in the water at a several County Parks along the mighty Columbia River which are about 10 minutes away. You can also take a dip in the picturesque Beaver Falls, a stunning 20-minute drive through the country followed by a short hike. If adventure "on the water" is more your thing, then you can always take a kayak around Scappoose Bay which is a 30-minute drive from 4D. Welcome to Holistic Life Farm! We are a working homestead and delight in sharing our daily experience and offer visits with our sheep, cows and chickens. Holistic Life Farm offers a 1 dry tent site for up to 12 people, a quaint hideaway cabin, and a glamped out 16x20 canvas tent with a wood stove. We also offer 1 RV site in our parking area. Stop on your way to Astoria and the coast and make this your destination. Find us about 30 minutes off I-5 freeway across the Longview bridge or 45 minutes east of Astoria. Our farm sits about 5 miles off Highway 30 to the north. We can direct you to hiking and mountain biking trails in the area (Beaver Falls trailhead is 5 miles from our farm). There is a motor boat launch in the town of Clatskanie, with access to Columbia River. There is also a launch in the city park for kayaking. The Zen Monastery is just 5 miles away. Long Beach, WA is across the Columbia River via the Astoria Bridge. Lounging about the homestead works too.

From there, we started raising Black Angus in 2008 after spending four years cleaning up the fields to make it safe for animals. We strive to be good stewards with our land as we continue to work with Clackamas Soil and Water to make better working lands. You're only minutes away from the town of Molalla to grab a bite, groceries or other camp items. Also have Molalla Rodeo just 3 minutes away on July 1-4th. Come relax and enjoy the amazing energy at Four Directions Retreat. We offer beautiful and shaded campsites and a tiny cabin that will be sure to please. We also have an amazing outdoor stage nestled at the bottom of a natural amphitheater that is perfect for a variety of entertaining needs. When not playing corn hole, disc golf or other yard games, our friendly little goats are known for putting on a show of their own just to get loves and scratches from our guests. Our beautiful property features a healthy 45+ year old Douglas Fir forest and a spacious meadow which is stunning in the spring with wild grasses and beautiful flowers. During the summer, you can take a break from the heat and relax amongst the huge ferns, Fir, Alder and Cedar trees and enjoy a variety of delicious berries found all over the property. You may also want to stretch your legs and take a leisurely walk along some of the old logging roads or give yourself a push along a forested hiking trail. Using mostly reclaimed materials, we built a stage great for entertainment (concerts, weddings, movie nights, etc... ), an outdoor event kitchen, and most importantly - the three composting outhouses strategically located to best accommodate our guest's basic needs. We also have a gorgeous Bathhouse available for a nominal fee to recoup the costs of waste disposal. Check out our 4D Full Property Booking if you are planning an event and would like a private place to host your celebration, gathering, or concert. Caterers love the outdoor event kitchen! We are happy to answer your questions and share our experiences with large events to help with your decision making process. The 4D Tiny Cabin includes a large space with a basic camp kitchen, fire pit, picnic table and space for a few tents (depending on size) for additional family or friends. We have 12 traditional camp sites that include picnic tables and fire pits that are spaced well apart to provide more privacy than you would ever get at a standard county, state or federal campground. Important to know: 1) A handful of the camp sites can accommodate up to 24 foot in length RV's and trailers pulled by a 4x4, camper vans, or trucks with campers. 2) Please reach out to us if you have additional questions about which sites would be best and why we insist on having a 4x4 pulling a trailer. 3) Also, overloaded minivans also have difficulties making it up the hill, but we can help. If that isn't enough, we are located close to many areas of interest. If you like disc golf, Trojan Park is only 8 minutes away. You can also jump in the water at a several County Parks along the mighty Columbia River which are about 10 minutes away. You can also take a dip in the picturesque Beaver Falls, a stunning 20-minute drive through the country followed by a short hike. If adventure "on the water" is more your thing, then you can always take a kayak around Scappoose Bay which is a 30-minute drive from 4D. We purchased Lis-Bon Acres 🥚🐝🐰 over 11 years ago. Prior to our ownership, the property was home to a Christmas Tree farm for over 20 years. This 30+ year old reformed Christmas Tree farm seeks visitors looking to experience our hobby farm, learn about homestead practices, and enjoy our adventure. We have allowed the Christmas Trees to grow and have the property in Timber Management. We use our livestock to help with management of the timber byproducts. We are a working hobby farm and your stay allows for a tour, visits with our animals, and learning about small to large practices you can implement at your own home. Our current farm animals include alpacas, goats, a mini donkey, geese, ducks, chickens, rabbits, and our newest additions, two EMUS! Plus our livestock guardians and farm kitties. Plus we have an area for kiddo enjoyment that includes a ninja course, seesaw, teether ball, and volleyball net. Wander around the wooded areas and keep eyes open for wild rabbits, newts, and count the variety of birds you see. There are plenty of opportunities to learn about watershed management and habitat restoration. We are 15 minutes from access to boating, kayaking, or swimming at Lake Merwin. Several smaller to larger hiking options are short drives or take a country drive to explore the wonders of Mt. St. Helens' South side including the Ape Cave lava tube (24 miles) or Lava Canyon (34 miles). There are lots of historical sites to visit too. Nearby is the Cedar Creek Grist Mill and the North County Museum. A drive into Yacolt gets you to the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad then off to see the historical Pomeroy Farm. There is lots to see and do. Come spend the night on our amazing farm in the midst of our growing timber crop. The Glamp and Jack sites do not have access to electricity.

GeerCrest Farm occupies Kalapuya land, settled by the Geer family in 1847, and is still owned and stewarded by the family. The house Ralph and Mary Geer built in 1851 stands and is one of the oldest in Oregon to remain in the same family. GeerCrest Farm and Historical Society manages the front portion of the land and has provided farm-life experiences for all ages since 2007, along with day and overnight experiences for individuals and families. Secluded private site centrally located just a mile from Interstate 5, and 6 miles from the Interstate 5 / Hwy 205 intersection so most places in Clark County are less that 20 minutes away. Located 10 minutes from ilani Casino, 5 minutes from the Clark County Fairgrounds and amphitheater, and less than 30 minutes from some of the nicest freshwater lakes around. Hosts are avid Flyboarders, Jetskiers, and Paraglider Pilots. There is an active sawmill onsite IES-Sawmill.com. There are hiking trails that go around the property and past the sawmill and log deck. Walking access is permitted, but you must keep pets on leash and keep an eye on your kids. Some of the equipment is big, heavy, and doesn't have the greatest visibility if people walk up un-noticed. Always ensure that the operator sees you, and don't place yourself anywhere where a log that comes loose could run you down. Operating Equipment alwasy has the right of way.

THE PROPERTY: Our campsites are on two beautiful ponds with a seasonal creek in an old growth cedar forest with a few trails to enjoy the stillness and magic of the woods. There are 11 acres with a vineyard, fruit orchard, large garden, cob garden wall for lounging, fire pit at the vineyard with several picnic tables and hammocks, a big open field above the camping area, and the beautiful cedar forest. *Coming Spring 2024: our newly remodeled Owl Cabin with treehouse, a large deck off the barn for music, dinners, yoga and gathering. We consider this land sacred. We are only caretakers passing through, and honor this place and the original people of this land: The Molalla, Clackamas, and Kalapuya tribes, who were "relocated" to the Grand Ronde Reservation in the mid 1800's. Please be mindful of the energy of the forest, and all the people and animals who still reside and have come before. The forest is home to beavers, coyote, deer, raccoons, salamanders, frogs, and many bird and bug species. Our dream is to share this land with all people to create community in harmony with nature and provide a safe space. We welcome, open heartedly, people of all gender identity or expression, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, and artistic expression. WHEN YOU ARRIVE: Proceed down our long driveway to the bottom. Take a left at the sport court, and a right at the pool. On your left is the woodshed with the "Calliope Farm" mural. You will see two parking spots to the left of the woodshed (Harmony Hollow parking) and two on the right (Hobbit Circle) You can unload here and grab a cart. Across from the parking, on the red barn, is the water station, and the hot tub sign up sheet. You will be walking/carting your things down to the forest where you will pass the outhouse on the left. For Harmony Hollow, after you cross the first bridge, take the path to the left and cross a second bridge and the campsite is on your right. For Hobbit Circle, cross the first bridge and walk around the pond, which will lead you to the campsite. The campsites are a short walk, (200 yards) but there is a decline, and you need to be a little hearty to walk back up the hill with your things. You will have a good amount of space and privacy for your group, but may encounter others visiting the forest as well. enjoy a social time while respecting that some come for quiet and reflection. We provide a picnic table, fire-pit and fire extinguisher. (with an option to purchase firewood) There is wood that can be found on the ground, but keep in mind we have very wet winters and springs. FIRE SAFETY: If you bring your own firewood, make sure it is DRY to avoid excess smoke. We respect fire bans, and take fire safety very seriously. (as well as our elderly neighbors). Be extra careful with cigarette sparks, and please keep your fire on the smaller side. We reserve the right to suddenly ban fires if it is feeling extra dry. Please do not burn smokey wood (oak or wet wood) and do not leave fires unattended. Please make sure fires are fully extinguished before retiring for the evening or departing. We wish to all work together for safety, with intelligence, common sense, and fire consciousness. WE HAVE TWO OUTHOUSES: One is the original outhouse from the 70's located behind the chicken coop and closer to the parking area. It is rustic but functional. The second one is a newer outhouse about a 3 minute walk from the campsites at the top of the small hill. These are pit toilets, and we provide sawdust or ash, toilet pape,r and a hand wash station and/or sanitizer. Please let us know if they need attention. OFFERINGS: We have a cedar hot tub, pool (seasonal), massage therapy, an outdoor shower, and wine. The charge for the pool and/or hot tub is $15 per person for 75 minutes of hot tub time. The pool is unheated, and is available any time after July 1st, and may be shared with us or other campers, but you must schedule the hot tub for privacy at the sign up sheet on the barn. If you would like to shower and not hot tub, the cost is $5 per shower, otherwise its included in the hot tub fee, and required for hot tub entrance. If you, or anyone in your group did not pay for a hot tub ahead of time, you will find a Venmo link on the barn, or can bring cash. HOT TUB: The hot tub sign up sheet is on the barn next to the water station. It is first come first serve. If you are a larger group using the tub, consider choosing a later spot for water displacement. If the hot tub is too hot, please add cold water from the hose to desired temp. PLEASE do not turn down the temperature on the hot tub, but use the cold water to create desired temp, but not below 102. If you are staying multiple nights and would like to hot tub again, the cost is $10 pp, instead of $15. Kids under 10 are $5 The hot tub is to the right of the house down by the garden. Your time is private, but we may need to visit/work in the garden. PLEASE read and be mindful of the hot tub etiquette posted in the hot tub area. WINE/VINEYARD: ~Silas Wines~ This is the original vineyard for Silas Wines founded in 2010. Our Pinot Noir vines are 40 year old Wadensville clone planted by the Ritter family in the early 80's. We have delicious Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, and Rosé for purchase. (Inquire upon arrival) You are welcome to walk the vineyard, and explore the front of the property. Our neighbor Beth, to the west, is a master gardener, and loves to give tours of her gardens or you can wander on your own. (please inquire) Dogs: Please let us know if you will be bringing a dog. We and our neighbors have chickens that are penned and free ranged. Please DO NOT allow your dog (or yourself) to roam on our neighbors property over the fence in the next field to the East. He is very friendly, and we have a good relationship, but that is his request. Please pick up after your dog. Please do not lose site of dog, and keep them on leash in common areas. Please do not leave your dog unattended at the campsite or anywhere on the property where they will bark and disturb other guests. THE CARAVAN SPOT: Please let us know if you are needing a van camping spot opposed to tent camping in the woods. We do have a few different options for car camping, and when booking select the "caravan spot". We also can split up your group if some are tent camping and others need van camping, but you would need to book the two different sites. We look forward to hosting you and invite you to enjoy camping at Calliope Farm and the Cedar Forest. +++Our goal is to donate a portion of earnings to NAYA (The Native American Youth and Family center) and to MMIW (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women).
