what a BEAUTIFUL place to camp, the area was incredible. “walking” 😉 distance from a somewhat tourist free waterfall. perfect distance from portland. the hosts were so nice and accommodating. the animals were super friendly. overall incredible place and would definitely stay again.

Was not very private which was fine but it would be cooler if there was a group fire pit or common area since the sites are so close to eachother. The hosts were really sweet though and we loved being close to Multnomah, a really nice fruit stand, and not too far from pdx.

Texas girl first time glamping

It was a real cute spot! It had several spots were you can get essentials close by like produce from the local farmers and a market store too. It was a very comfortable experience. I miss the goats already.

We had a generally nice stay! The tipi itself is beautiful and unique, and the location near the Columbia River Gorge is absolutely perfect. However, we did run into an issue with the propane heater—the tank was empty when we arrived, so our first night was cold and wet. Once we got propane for the second night, things were much more comfortable, but the tank ran out quickly and there wasn’t a backup available. Also, just a heads up: the tent is quite close to the other campsites, so we were glad there weren’t other campers nearby during our stay. Overall, this is a really cool tipi in a fantastic spot, but a few improvements—like making sure the propane is stocked and maybe adding a bit more privacy—would make the experience even better!

Incredible Weekend getaway!

We came out to glamp for my partner’s birthday and had a wonderful weekend. The property is breathtaking this time of year. Flower trees blooming everywhere. We had everything we needed plus some. Were used to camping camping so we brought way more than we needed on the supplies list. The yurt was stunning and so nice to sleep in. We had a great time exploring the properties offerings including our new goat friends! We will be back! Lovely people own this space. I can’t say enough about how wonderful they were to us. Grateful for the time we got to spend. 10/10 would recommend!!

I loved the tipi, Rick was an awesome host. Provided us with extra propane when ours ran out! Went to check out the nearby waterfalls and it was great! Would definitely recommend/do again!

The campsite hosts were very friendly, and recommended us the best local places to visit. While the campsite is in close proximity to the road, the outdoor shower and sink, and cleanliness of the site easily makes up for it.

Outdoor Shower!

The site was really nice. There was some road noise, but it didn’t bother me at all. The outdoor shower was a nice treat and the site was well maintained. I would stay here again for sure. It would be fun to reserve both sites to share with friends.

Had the fortunate opportunity to stay at the tipi site as the last guest of the season! Rick was great! Met me when I arrived and showed me where to find everything I needed. I thought the tipi set up was super unique and spacious. I was only there for one night and left pretty early, and it was great to see the goats in the morning. Only downside was the two tent sites are a bit close to each other without much separation or privacy. It wasn’t a problem for me, as nobody was occupying those spots while I was there, but something to note in case you get some rowdy neighbors.

This site worked great for me. It is right off Historic Route 30 so can be a bit loud at times but I wanted a safe place to leave camping items while attending a wedding at an outdoor venue just a few miles away. Worked great. The neighbors and caretakers are friendly and inviting.....and so are the goats and chickens. Relaxing place to read / needlework. Bathroom very clean.

This was a perfect stay! The campsite was lovely & we enjoyed our coffee walking around the beautiful garden and watching the chickens. Highly recommend. This camp is so sweet.

It is a great little spot and Rick has done a wonderful job with the facilities however I would recommend earplugs as the road noise as well as the farm animals kept us all up most the night.

Glamping at its finest!

The Glamp has everything you would need. Super comfy bed, plenty of blankets and pillows and space for your stuff. The extra amenities such as the hot tub and sauna were great. The little kitchen area is well equipped too! The grounds are lovely, as are all the animals who visited, even the goats! ❤️. Rick and Ellen were delightful hosts as well and very accommodating. We hope to come back again!

Great place. The Tipi is super nice. Portapotty close by and the shower was great super hot water and great water pressure. Level spots with tables, wood chips and firepits. Sweet goats too!

Close in respite

We enjoyed staying in the Glamping tent. Just off the edge of town at the entrance to the scenic gorge. Great kitchen space fully supplied if you plan to cook, but close enough in for dinning out. The hosts were very kind and showed us the property and how to work the amenities.

We loved this comfortable and spacious glampsite! The bed was so comfortable, we took a picture of the sheet brand to buy for our own mattress! Their pup was so sweet and well-behaved. Outdoor shower was AWESOME! Super close to some great views and a country market!

Great experience! It was fun to be on a little farm. The gardener shared a bunch of green beans with us. Everybody was very friendly and welcoming. We could hear the cars from the road but it quieted down and didn’t disturb us.

Cute but needs improvements

This was a pretty nice stay for a last minute trip. However, the tipi is right next to two other campsites and doesn't offer the privacy I expected for a romantic stay. Same with the shower - I don't mind an outdoor shower, but it was 10ft from someone's tent. We only stayed for one night and used the firepit for maybe an hour before we ran out of propane, leaving us in a chilly morning with no heat. I would have asked the host for more propane but we were leaving that morning. It's a nice space, I just wish more thought was put into the experience!

A lovely place to stay!

The site and accommodations were exactly as pictured, and we had a great time. The tipi was spacious and clean, and great for the summer night we spent there. There is an extension cord in the tipi for a lamp, and he offered us a fan to plug in and cool down the place a bit. The mattress on the wood platform is rather firm, so if you prefer something a bit more plush, a pad or mattress topper would be recommended. The tipi is near their large garden, two campsites, a porta-potty, the outdoor shower and water source, and a pen containing sweet goats and chickens. As described, you do hear drivers on the highway, but that wasn't annoying to us. This was the perfect base camp for exploring Corbett, Latourell Falls, Crown Point, Rooster Rock, and Multnomah Falls, and we recommend it to others!

The hosts were very welcoming and the tipi was charming and comfortable with the basics needed including a mattress, table and 2 chairs. It was a hot day and a fan was provided, which was appreciated! The outdoor shower worked great. Definitely recommend!

Fantastic hosts and camp

Rick and his wife were very sweet. The place was clean and everything was in working order. We enjoyed the hot tub and the bed was super comfortable. We felt it was priced accordingly for what it offered and thought the owners kept the place clean and well organized. Well done and thank you for an exceptional weekend. Woof woof to Freya! Okay site, not great host

This was our first time using Hipcamp, we thought we would give it a try after seeing similarities with Airbnb and our great experience with them. Our trip was set to start upon arrival to Crown Point at a decent check in time. We were traveling from California when our car broke down. It took us five hours to get the car back up and running, which would lead to late arrival to Crown Point. When communicating with the host we felt unheard with no consideration or understanding from the host’s side. Stating “it isn’t a motel” and sending messages from other guests to us where they stated they were leaving if we were arriving late. As a host this is NOT proper communication with guests. There was nothing we could’ve done to arrive for check in any faster with the incident we addressed earlier. In the end we felt too uncomfortable to go in the first night given the messages the host had shared so decided to not create an inconvenience and stayed at a hotel for the night. This was NOT in our budget for this trip. The following day we decided to gut up courage and use the camp site for the 2nd day we paid for, as to not continue to waste money on another hotel night. Immediately upon arrival the host Rick rushed off and instead we were welcomed by host Ellen, yelling as he left “THEY ONLY GET ONE NIGHT!” implicating that we would trick them into staying there for longer. Ellen was great, she showed us where our site was, all the facilities and even provided some recommendations.

We had a great stay on Rick’s land. He was very communicative and we loved the simple but effective outdoor shower. The grounds are small but it was perfect for a one night stay and its proximity to the Gorge River was great for us.

Amazing Tipi stay!

We loved staying in the Tipi! It was spacious and perfect for our mini trip. The outdoor shower was wonderful and I can't say enough about how we loved listening to/ saying hi to the goats and chickens! We were given some fresh zucchini from the beautiful garden and it was amazing. We can't wait to try out the glamping arrangements next time. The location is amazing and we loved seeing Bridal Veil falls and the Women's Forum. Rick was very prompt on arrival and made sure our stay was comfortable. We especially loved the solar lights in the tipi, the propane fireplace, chairs, and cooking table. It was perfect and relaxing. Thank you so much Rick!
