Just minutes away from Portland Women's Forum and the majestic Crown Point, the Jewel of the Columbia. A trendy place for visitors.
Our facilities for our glampers include an outdoor kitchen, a mini-fridge, an outdoor shower, a solar-powered composting toilet, a hot tub, an outdoor sauna, abed and fresh water.
Take off for your bike journey or hiking adventure from here, with Multnomah Falls just a few miles away! Our camp is literally on the road to adventure. Just remember that the Historic Highway is a bustling road with lots of traffic, as well as PDX air traffic.
Our home and farm are on two acres. Our property borders the Columbia River Gorge scenic highway. Your tent site, the sauna, the composting toilet, and the hot tub are all in our ample backyard. This is more of a BnB style 'glamp' than a HipCamp style 'get away from it all' outdoor adventure camp. [BTW, we love them both!]
Because we are so close to the scenic highway, you can hear the sunset-view-seeking drivers, motorcycle riders, and yes, car racers who come out this way for a spin on one of the most scenic highways in the world. Traffic quiets down after dark and mornings are quite 'chill'.
If you like what you are reading, please feel free to book with us and take off for your bike journey or hiking adventure from here. Wahclella Falls, Wahkeena Falls, Eagle Creek, and Multnomah Falls are among our favorites. Larch Mt, trails are always great for mushroom hunting or bird watching.
Rick and Ellen are your hosts and we are always interested in welcoming fellow travelers! And hopefully, the amenities will make up for the occasionally loud campsite.
