This was a beautiful quaint staycation spot with the hot tub as the main event and it was worth it! The host was very welcoming and hospitable. This is a wonderful place to stay and I can’t wait to come back

Wonderful experience and great place especially if you’re looking to escape the city for a few days! The animals and garden was pretty awesome and getting to pick eggs and eat our own green beans was super fun. The host was fantastic too. Very accommodating and friendly. 5 stars would recommend.

100% recommend staying here! The location is nice. Plenty of activities around, but also the perfect place to just stay in. The property is gorgeous and they thought of everything! It’s so secluded and cozy, the hosts are amazing and made sure we had everything we needed and more. You get far more than just a place to stay, you get a whole experience. We plan to make this place a tradition.

We loved staying in Trent’s little cabin oasis! The bed was comfy, the hot tub was extremely fun and relaxing, the hammock was where my wife spent most of her time, while I spent my time cooking and playing fetch with our dog.
I’d certainly recommend this place to friends! The cooking supplies really helped, and there were little things like salt/pepper, the bedside fan, fresh water, ice, tiki torches, and coffee that made our stay even better.
Trent and his wife were super friendly with our dog, which we always appreciate! Thank you for having us!

Wow! This place was amazing. Trent was a fantastic host, very welcoming, and so fast to respond if there was anything we needed!
We stayed in mid August and spent most of our time in Portland. Returning only for sleep and the luxurious and inspiring hot tub soak, which could snugly fit two people. The property is beautiful. I would recommend this place absolutely. Everything we needed was already there and we found we had overpacked on several items. The cabin was so cute and very romantic for our anniversary getaway. The record player inside was a nice touch. Would definitely stay here again.

Trent and family were excellent hosts! They gave us space but were also only a call or message away if we needed anything. Their property is beautiful and peaceful with all the amenities you could ask for. Will be returning for a longer stay!

From the moment we first communicated with Trent he was very accommodating. Everyone around the property is extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Any questions you have they can answer (even about Burmese Poison Fighting Goats). The bed was very comfortable, the wood fired hot tub relaxing, and the property serene (albeit some noisy neighbors at 4am- looking at you roosters). Stay here, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Between the very homey and well-maintained cabin+trails to our incredibly kind and welcoming hosts, my wife and I really enjoyed our time staying on Trent's property. He gave us wonderful suggestions for our hiking and adventuring that turned out really well for us, and also checked in to make sure we were doing well during our stay, without being invasive or intruding on our vacation time. The hot tub is awesome, we had fresh eggs from Trent's chickens with our breakfast (and enjoyed feeding the goats 🐐) and our time was well incredibly spent and relaxing. Thanks again!!

This was a lovely getaway. All the basic amenities were provided, and the soaking tub was dreamy. The host was very attentive and provided ice, a generator to power my CPAP, firewood, etc. Definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic time staying here! We are not experienced campers, but wanted to get out and try a little, so this was a perfect halfway point. Everything was very clean and cozy, and the hot tub was perfect! The hosts were kind and friendly, and everything we needed was provided. We are beyond satisfied with our trip, and would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you again!

The ONLY reason I wouldn’t tell someone about this place is that I want it all to myself!!! Trent and Amy are exceptional hosts! They care about your every need and are always quick to respond! I really enjoyed my two-night stay with my dogs at Amy and Trent’s cozy little cabin. It was such a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Trent and Amy were amazing hosts—so friendly and welcoming. I couldn’t have asked for more!

Sweet Relief
We had the BEST vacation staying here! We state this, as there are a mix of factors contributing to our highest of ratings.
Hospitality was top notch- from Trent, the host, to his mother, to a friendly and helpful groundskeeper/maintenance/ on-site host, Robin.
Anything we needed and anytime we needed it, someone was always available. Quick communication. They check-up on visitors through digital methods and allowed us to be alone. We didn’t ever have to think about someone else in our seclusion.
As others have mentioned, there are a couple other quite hospitable features you will just have to book to learn and experience!
The cabin: everything you need is there and nothing you don’t. Comfort! The bed! We loved it so much that we are going to stay here again next year and take note of the brand so we can purchase our own back home. Beautiful choice of wood, which Trent made himself.
They refill wood and charcoal as needed and there is a plethora available. It was great to arrive and know there is a cooler with ice waiting for the items we bought just 15 min. away at the supermarket.
The wood-heated tub! My first time and won’t be my last!
Trails are totally maintained.
Outhouse is completely maintained so you don’t need to think about it.
This was our second glamping experience and we will definitely return!

The easiest 5 star review I've ever given. The cabin and property create a very relaxing environment. The wood-fired hot tub felt amazing, the outdoor shower provided a warm place to rinse off and the bed was very comfortable. My dog had an amazing time running after birds and bunnies. It was a lovely break from busy everyday life!

Trent was a wonderful host! He is very thoughtful and caring. He gave us fresh ice for the cooler both days and made sure we had enough firewood and charcoal as well. He had the tub heated up for us when we arrived. He helps you get your stuff down to the cabin and gives you a tour on the way. The outdoor shower was so nice for the warm summer days. The greenhouse was beautiful and we got to have some tasty strawberries. There is so many special things about this place, it was a wonderful time.

Absolutely loved my time here! It was so beautiful, and peaceful. The tub was amazing, so relaxing. My dogs also had a great time, we walked along the trails everyday we were there. Definitely want to go back.

Trent was very helpful and provided us with everything we needed, unfortunately our trip was cut short because of our cat but for the one night we had on site it was beautiful and peaceful.
I believe there is an airport nearby so you might hear airplanes here and there but besides that everything was perfect.

AMAZING!! Such a special place, and well taken care of. WE WERE ALSO well taken care of. I can’t say enough about this spot, we are coming back annually or biannually cos it’s just so perfect. Enjoyed collecting veggies from the greenhouse and eggs from the chickens. Dogs roamed free with us, trails were private and the hillbilly HOT TUB 🔥

Trent has truly thought of everything with this cabin! His attention to detail and his dedication to his guest's comfort is unmatched. We spent a relaxing rainy weekend here walking around the property, soaking in the tub, playing cards, and listening to records. Our dog had so much fun that we couldn't get her back into the car to leave! Trent had everything we needed and more, which made for a low stress weekend.

This was one of the best stays I’ve had on HipCamp. Trent is warm, generous and has an infections positive energy. He and his family have created a wonderful environment here and built a relaxing one of a kind stay immersed in nature. I wanted a getaway that gave me time to reflect on my relationship and write my upcoming wedding vows. I Spent most of my time in the hot tub and it allowed me to do just that! I’d love to come back in the near future.

Beautiful, private location. Hot tub was easy to operate and can fit two people who are very friendly! Lovely walk to the creek in the woods. The host was kind and helpful. There’s a gas stove to cook on. There is an outhouse but it is somehow nice and not smelly. The outdoor shower was fun. Our dog got to roam around free of leash. Heavenly

Wonderful host, it was clear Trent took care in planning out the experience. Hot tub was perfect, cabin was perfect. 2 heat sources in the cabin. If you love wood-burning fires of different kinds, this is the place for you.
Just a note - if it's gonna be rainy when you go, do not bring anything you don't want to get dirty! It's a bit of a walk if you need to get back to your car and the path is quite muddy 😅

This is the most amazing place! The soaking tub is the BEST ever!!! So amazing, peaceful, and unique!! It was easy to use and Trent goes above and beyond to help and provide supplies. I am not good at making fires but found the tub easy to use and maintain heat. I soaked for many hours, it was perfect. It doesn’t take that long to heat up and Trent had it heated upon arrival. The cabin and tub are so comfortable and private! No houses in view all around, very peaceful in nature. The bed is so comfortable and heat worked great. It was also nice to have cooking supplies and ice for the cooler. Everything was super clean. Trent really does go above and beyond! Very nice person and he cares about his guests. I understand all of the 5 star reviews after staying here and highly recommend this spot! I’ll definitely come back!

This was our 4th visit and it never disappoints! The fall foliage and mushroom spotting were poppin off and the cabin was a cozy shelter when the rain came. Also, v grateful for the tub and shower this time of year! Thanks to Trent for always making us feel welcome :). We'll be back for sure!
