The "Old Barn House" is truly a gem just six minutes from downtown Portland and five minutes from old Town Beaverton. You will feel as if you are in a forest on Mount Hood and yet, just minutes away, is all the best the area has to offer. From Northwest Portland with the wonderful and trendy restaurants and eateries like Salt and Straw to Voodoo Donuts; the waterfront, and Washington Park. It's all at your fingertips. But the crazy thing is, you might not want to leave the "Old Barn" in the woods. While you lounge on the deck or in the hot tub, you may see an owl or eagle or coyote. (Pets must be leashed.)

Treehouse · Sleeps 4 · 1 bedroom · 2 beds · 1 toilet
Bigfoot's tent, 12 feet up in an old-growth forest, offers a magic escape. A lit path leads to where deer often roam. The views are so spectacular you forget you are ten min. from Portland. Relax with a walk in the labyrinth, enjoy a game of cornhole, unwind in Sasquatch’s chair. Perfect for those who want a quiet getaway in nature without leaving behind all modern comforts. There's an electric fireplace, a fridge, lights, and wifi (if needed). We suggest unplugging. No loud partying allowed. Once booked, a video link will be given that brings you there:-) Viewing the video is required. The bathroom is about a four to five-minute walk. It's a nice bathroom.

Sasquatch's tiny treehouse is the best of Both Worlds! This Tiny Home right on Bear's Creek is so tucked away you will forget you are less than a ten-minute drive from Portland and Beaverton. Enjoy the short adventure hike down "Get Over It" suspension bridge as you hear the creek getting closer. Watch out for owls, eagles, deer, and more. Play some corn hole, walk the "Leaning labyrinth," and chill on the deck perched right above the creek in the trees. (3rd or4th guests have an air bed to inflate:-)

Yeti's Tree House

Treehouse · Sleeps 6 · 1 bedroom · 1 bed · 1 toilet
A Three-minute walk from the parking lot, Yeti's Tree House is like no other. It's 18 Feet in the air and has all the amenities! There is an outdoor GIANT soaking tub and shower on the massive deck, a real ZIP LINE from the deck to the ground below. A 1950s-style retro kitchen with a kitchen table, and a full indoor bathroom. All the walls are beautiful knotty pine. Upstairs is a giant hammock and a queen-sized bed; the hammock can sleep up to three. There is also a small double pull-out. A picnic table is halfway on the trial to Yeti's Tree House. It is tranquil and private; however, since you are so close to town, a neighborhood is within shouting distance:-) No Parties or wandering off into the woods. Dogs MUST BE LEASHED. There is said to be a friendly Sasquatch who roams the woods. I actually have a photo! If you're lucky, you might see him. Also, there are deer, owls, eagles, chipmunks, rabbits, and much more. Fantastic hiking is nearby at the Arboretum, up at Council Crest, and at the famous Pittock Mansion. All are a very close drive. (please do not hike the property; you will run into a neighbor eventually. :-) Enjoy the three-minute hike to the tree house from the parking area, the picnic area, and the beautiful view from the huge deck while soaking in the giant soaking tub. Or take the Zip Line down!
