Everything was so nice .. we have a great one thing .. we didn’t find a recycle bin for cardboard… we can wait to come back!!

What’s lovely spot built in the forest- totally lived up to our hopes!
This nice large tent was comfortable and clean. Bed and linens, rugs on the floor, hot water heater and a selection of coffee and teas. No mosquito worries, as it can be zipped up tight.
Comfortable chairs both inside and out, the deck is large. Easy access to two different bathroom units and a play area.
Don’t forget to try some stargazing as the skies are beautiful here.
We found two great off-the-beaten-path nearby and had dinners in town. What a fun time - we will be back!

This was our 2nd time to stay at Columbia Gorge. We love this place and know it will be an annual campsite we come to. Everything is amazing….bathrooms, hiking trails, hospitality, privacy, etc. it’s one of our favorite spots

We loved our bell tent! The bed was very comfortable and there were ample blankets to keep us warm in the evenings. Bathrooms were close and clean. We've already started talking about when we might make it back again!

The property is beautiful and thoughtfully planned and maintained. Amenities are very nice and kept clean. The bell tents are like a hotel outside. Very comfortable bed, bedside lamps, chargers. Even coffee/tea for the morning. Looking forward to our next stay!

This is a beautiful piece of land and a great place to spend some time. Our group included six adults and three young kids, all of whom were happy with a combination of relaxing at the campground, eating and playing in the common areas, huddling around a fire at night, and taking a nice walk up the path to the grassy area at the top with great views. The campsites are well set up, including nice tent spots and plenty of space, and bathrooms are nearby and clean. A well-crafted and spacious covered communal area with electric was a nice touch for us. Really appreciate the thought going into this site and strongly recommend it to others.

Loved everything about the general site and our individual tent. It was super cute. The only complaint is the sites are relatively close together, like standard campsites and we had small children next door who were rearing to go early in the morning while we were trying to sleep in. Next time, we'll bring friends so we know who's next door.

We enjoyed an absolutely lovely stay in tent #6. The accommodations were comfortable, extremely clean, and had many thoughtful touches to make this stay special. The property was fantastic with solar-lit paths at night, games to play in the common area and clean bathrooms. We highly recommend Columbia Gorge Getaways and cannot wait to come back!

100% would recommend this spot, the tents are so clean and spacious. Restrooms and showers were conveniently nearby each bell tent while being out of sight and were maintained very well. I plan to come back every year

Such a beautiful area with a lot to do! Very clean bathrooms and our campsite was pretty secluded. one of the hosts dog River came and hung out for a few hours and he was absolutely amazing and so sweet! Already planning on coming back!!

This is a nice little hidden gem we found out in the gorge! Rob has built a luxurious retreat for anyone who wants to escape the stresses of day to day life. He gives you 400 acres of wilderness without giving up everyday essentials like running water, flushing toilets and showers. The common area has two massive Tentipi’s joined together for a great escape from any weather. String lights all around for night games. It was a great weekend! We can’t wait for their new additions to be available so we can try them out!

This is a beautiful property and is beautifully managed. Our tent site was private and tucked into the trees. It was so quiet! No road noise and our only neighbor was a mama bird and her nest of babies. Wonderfully clean bathrooms and showers were nearby. We enjoyed the common area covered by an amazing Nordic tent with lawn games and a view for morning coffee. We will be back. Our new favorite!

This was a wonderful camping experience! All of the sites are private from one another but still accessible to the bathrooms and common areas which gives a secluded feeling but you still have tons of amenities. The bathrooms are the cleanest, nicest bathrooms I’ve ever experienced at a campground. The first thing I noticed when I went in the bathrooms was how fresh they smelled and they were absolutely spotless despite the campground being sold out the first night we were there. The surroundings are so so so beautiful! The camp host was as kind enough to point us to a local swimming hole when I asked for ways to beat the heat and his directions were easy to follow. We found it without any problems and were able to cool off. Sadly the heat on our second day proved to be a bit too much for me (I’m very sensitive to really hot weather) so we had to pack up early even though we were scheduled to stay another night because I got sick, but I was sad to have to go because we were having such a wonderful, relaxing time. The common area has a playground and tepees set up for shade with a fan and a place to charge your devices, as well as games and things. I met 2 of the hosts and they were super friendly, kind, and responsive. I’ve added this campground to my “favorites” list and will definitely be back. I want to stay in one of the bell tents next time as those look wonderful. It really seems like the hosts have thought of everything!

The campground is amazing. Super cool touches (paths lit by solar lights, very nice bathrooms and showers). My husband and I stayed for a night, it was great because we just happened to be the only campers….so peaceful and quiet. We met Bob (co-owner), very nice man. We really loved the well thought out campground and the ambience. We will definitely come back next time we are in Washington

We loved camping at Columbia Gorge Getaways. If you’re looking for easy, relaxed, no-fuss tent camping or yurt glamping, this is a really great option. Just over an hour outside of Portland, visit CGG for a chance to do some classic forest bathing in their 400 acres of new forest. Relax in the Adirondack chairs in one of the several beautiful leisure areas they’ve setup, while listening to an unending chorus of native birdsong. This forest is absolutely alive with birds - some that we saw or heard were Western Tanagers, bluebirds, warblers, finches, nuthatches, owls, jays, juncos, and hawks. The land abuts the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, and has views of the very tip of Mt Hood. The host is friendly, authentic, and helpful - but not hovering. We’ve already planned out several future trips we want to make to Columbia Gorge Getaways.

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful camp and I couldn't be more impressed. The amenities, especially the bathrooms/showers, were nothing short of amazing. The entire camp, including all the trails, are spotlessly clean and well-maintained. They provided a level of comfort (while still feeling fully immersed in the forest) that far exceeded my expectations.
The host, Rob, was incredibly helpful and kind. From the moment we arrived, he made us feel welcome and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed for a great stay. His attention to detail and genuine hospitality truly set this campground apart.
The layout of the camp spots is superb. Each site is thoughtfully designed with beautiful trees and natural vegetation, offering complete privacy. The balance of seclusion and accessibility is perfect and I cannot wait to be back with friends and family.
Overall, this campground provided an exceptional experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable outdoor getaway.

This was a great place to spend a couple nights. The density of the new growth forest allowed for good privacy between sites. Bathrooms and showers were great too.

This place is a hidden gem, only about an hour away from Portland. The grounds are well laid out and provide multiple amenities including a large communal area with games, a playground, multiple restrooms (including one with a shower) & an industrial sink to wash dishes. There was also a communal fire pit near the playground with stocked wood, but I believe this is only offered seasonally when a burn ban isn’t in effect.
My husband and I stayed at campsite #9 for one night, which was the perfect size for us and our dog. The parking space was located only a few feet away below the campsite which made it easy to unload all of our gear.
We most enjoyed sitting in the Adirondack chairs under the Tentipi which offered a sweeping view of the Gorge.
I highly recommend this Hip Camp and I’m sure it’s going to get popular once the word is out about how amazing it is. I’m already planning our next camping trip there, later this summer.
