Rock-N A Ranch is roughly 20 minutes away and offers horseback riding. The Cabins and Campsites are within walking distance from each other but far enough away to create that illusion of privacy. We do have a neighborhood close by but you can’t see or hear them due to the woods. In my travels, I try to bring back something I’ve seen or learned to help improve the guest experience and environment. You’ll notice little touches of Asia, Mexico, and even Hill Country Texas! We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and treat every guest like family. We’re always a text away! You’ll see us out and about on our golf carts. Heavily wooded acreage with goats, horses and donkeys. There is no light pollution and if there are no clouds you can see the stars very clearly. We have a ton of wild birds. Owls and Cara Cara are common. There are deer, feral hog and two resident packs of coyote. We also have ring tail cats, which are nocturnal and rare. The best seasons are October 1st thru the end of April. It gets VERY hot and dry in the summer and can just be miserable. We have a shared bathroom and an outdoor shower and tub. If you are a single woman or a family with children, we don't take other bookings while you are visiting the farm. You will have the place to yourselves. The only exception being my family and I, if we are working or staying over at the farm. We should have a second bunkhouse up and running by fall of 2025. If you are tent camping, you may camp anywhere on the property but there are certain spaces that may make curious horses your roomies.

Paradise on Lake Texoma (formerly Paradise Cove) is a beautiful, secluded commercial campground located in the "Big Mineral Arm'' of Lake Texoma. Built in the 80's by the Corps of Engineers, Paradise has been a mainstay of the lake for many years. Recently, the current management team are working to grow Paradise into something special. With a huge focus on community and culture, Paradise has tons of space for people to come together and enjoy the company and also areas to wander off and find a quiet lakeside spot to relax. You'll also be able to catch one of the best breathtaking sunsets on the lake! The wildlife we have on the property is amazing! I have deer that sleep in my front yard, opossums, 600 bird species, and my favorite… the armadillos! We offer Kayaking on the property for a fee. We have a beautiful Hammock Garden free for guests to kick back and relax. Texoma Water Taxi is a text away to give guests a ride anywhere on the lake including restaurants. Rock-N A Ranch is roughly 20 minutes away and offers horseback riding. The Cabins and Campsites are within walking distance from each other but far enough away to create that illusion of privacy. We do have a neighborhood close by but you can’t see or hear them due to the woods. In my travels, I try to bring back something I’ve seen or learned to help improve the guest experience and environment. You’ll notice little touches of Asia, Mexico, and even Hill Country Texas! We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and treat every guest like family. We’re always a text away! You’ll see us out and about on our golf carts. If you ever need anything just holler (: Check-in time is at 3 pm. We encourage campers to purchase our firewood, we will make sure you have what you need at a fair price. I will also provide you with a small bundle of firewood for free upon arrival. The bundle is enough for one fire. Please be respectful. This is my home (35 years) and I do not need any help redecorating or rearranging. Heavily wooded acreage with goats, horses and donkeys. There is no light pollution and if there are no clouds you can see the stars very clearly. We have a ton of wild birds. Owls and Cara Cara are common. There are deer, feral hog and two resident packs of coyote. We also have ring tail cats, which are nocturnal and rare. The best seasons are October 1st thru the end of April. It gets VERY hot and dry in the summer and can just be miserable. We have a shared bathroom and an outdoor shower and tub. If you are a single woman or a family with children, we don't take other bookings while you are visiting the farm. You will have the place to yourselves. The only exception being my family and I, if we are working or staying over at the farm. We should have a second bunkhouse up and running by fall of 2025. If you are tent camping, you may camp anywhere on the property but there are certain spaces that may make curious horses your roomies.

Ellie is the best host! Very responsive and friendly. The property is beautiful - classic Hill Country river and landscape, and we were happy to see beautiful deer during our visit! The RV has a very comfortable bed and the heater kept us nice and warm during a chilly weekend. Highly recommend!

I was welcomed by friendly goats and lil pig. Since, it was a thanksgiving day - I only saw three people in the area. Our tent was superb! Perfect spot for our camping but unfortunately we have to leave after 3 hours of stay coz my son has an anxiety attack. He just got tired from our previous camp (this is actually our second spot). I believe we need to come back here again soon and explore the area. The communication w the host was great. All the instructions were given clearly and the suggested trail to explore. We really need to come back here again soon.

Weekend Trip to Dos Rios - Hill Country Adventure

I had the best time with my little family in our very first camping trip here. Everything was well kept the most beautiful views and scenic river. The evem owners checked on us and asked if we needed anything and I had rembered that our kids cot stayed behind and could use an extra one which they graciously brought by for kiddos. We loved the community feeling, yet still with had privacy and the convenient amenities. We will be back again 100%
