I have deer that sleep in my front yard, opossums, 600 bird species, and my favorite… the armadillos! We offer Kayaking on the property for a fee. We have a beautiful Hammock Garden free for guests to kick back and relax. Texoma Water Taxi is a text away to give guests a ride anywhere on the lake including restaurants. Rock-N A Ranch is roughly 20 minutes away and offers horseback riding. The Cabins and Campsites are within walking distance from each other but far enough away to create that illusion of privacy. We do have a neighborhood close by but you can’t see or hear them due to the woods.  In my travels, I try to bring back something I’ve seen or learned to help improve the guest experience and environment. You’ll notice little touches of Asia, Mexico, and even Hill Country Texas! We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and treat every guest like family. We’re always a text away! You’ll see us out and about on our golf carts. If you ever need anything just holler (: Check-in time is at 3 pm. The river cuts through the middle of the place and is surrounded by four hills that each have their unique characteristics ranging from flat oak-covered to rocky steep ridges. I guarantee you will find beauty all around. We do have a couple of fun areas to try your 4-wheel drive out. Please dont make your own....stay on trails. There are plenty of places to swim. When the Ladder is reserved, you may not swim there. Please be respectful. We have 1.5 miles of both sides of the river so plenty of places to swim. It varies a lot in depth and width over the ranch. Every camp spot has access to all the swimming holes except the ladder when it is booked. The main swimming holes are-- 1. Below the Green Cabin 2. If you are looking for solitude and untouched nature, this is the place for you. The comforts of Bandera are conveniently only a 5 minute drive away. We are located less than 2 miles from Bandera City Park! At this time, all sites are completely dry. We do have porta-potties available. RV sites are boondocking only (no water or electric at this time.) Guests may stay at Memmie’s Farm for a maximum of 6 consecutive nights. Our slice of land on the Medina River is truly gorgeous! There are beautiful cypress trees that are magical year round, and there are often small rapids. If relaxing in the shade by the river and dipping your feet in is your thing, our property is perfect for that! However, this is not a swimming hole. The Medina River is generally not considered safe in Bandera, TX, due to consistent low flow. Swim at your own risk.

If traveling with your horses, pens are available along with miles of unpaved, remote, county roads to explore the varied landscapes. You can expect to encounter, both on the ranch and off, white tail, mule deer, turkey, hogs, coyotes, quail, dove, road runners and friendly locals always ready to stop and chat. Li'l Capitan Cabin was a great place to enjoy the views of the Guadalupe Mountains and the night sky out on the top deck. We stayed nice and cool inside during the day. Bring what you'll need for the stay. It's a long drive to the nearest store. Overall a great place.

Highly recommend: location close to Guadalupe NP & not far from Carlsbad. Loved the sunrises and sunsets; electric; air conditioning. We camped 3 nights at NP campground and then did 2 nights at Lil Capitan. Last night was super windy so glad to not be in tent. Solar lights near entrance make easy find from road at night. hint: if you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs; road noise.

Took my lady here for her birthday and she had a blast. The Daisy cabin is very nice and very clean, Barry's property is so pretty and he is an amazing host. I would definitely recommend this to anyone trying to have a unique experience and looking to get away from the stresses of life for little bit.

Weekend Trip to Stunning Dome Retreat w/Hot Tub

Guys! This place was incredible. It was so peaceful. It was impeccably clean. It was absolutely beautiful and I felt like I was in a fairy tale land. There was the sauna and hot tub that were such a treat. The views are so pretty and there’s so much nature. There is a good amount of space and privacy between spots. We stayed in the “yellow” yurt. There was electricity, air conditioning, a water hose, and a table and chairs as well as lighting and a Keurig with supplied coffee pods and creamer. The couch bed was so comfy and had a pullout. The queen was comfortable as well. The bathrooms were cute and had a nice shower and space to clean up. We were supplied with towels and washcloths. I loved the boardwalk that went from our place to the bathrooms. I am absolutely coming back to this place and bringing my kids next time. They will love it! Bastrop is only 10 min away and there is anything you could need there regarding groceries/coffee/supplies.

Great location, great views, cabins and bathrooms are clean, check-in was easy. Would visit again! Didn’t love the $90 in hidden fees at the end when you check out, just be honest and transparent about your pricing and build it into your posted price.

My daughter and I rented The Happy Place for a few nights and it couldn't have been more perfect. Everything was set up so nicely in the glamping tent and the location was private, wooded and very quiet. Dana was very courteous and helpful and I'd highly recommend staying here ---I'll be back for sure. Amy

Super awesome spot!! Couldn’t recommend more! This was the PERFECT launch point for Guadalupe and to rest and relax on my birthday. Stunning views of the mountain. The cabin was very cozy and the rooftop was gorgeous. The outhouse was very picturesque although a tad stinky, but that’s to be expected from an outhouse. I loved all the plants on the property— and everything was flowering including the Ocotillo! Wes was super response and kind, and has built a really, really sweet spot. The gate is a tad tough to find till you’re right up on it since it is indeed tucked between mesquite bushes, but Apple Maps directions worked and took us there. You’ll see and hear the highway from the front porch/door, but it really wasn’t bothersome.

I loved staying in Lana’s bunkhouse. After a very long drive, it was the perfect place to rest for the night. It was great to find such a remote place so close to the highway. The highlight of the visit was the sliver of moon and sky full of stars right outside the bunkhouse door.

Weekend Trip to Circle C CampGrounds

My husband and I made reservations for two nights. It was my dog‘s first experience to go overnight with us. We enjoyed the Cabin so much we stayed a third night. We have been wanting to go to the Lone star Trail for years. My husband has wonderful memories of taking Boy Scouts on the trail many years ago. I had never gone before. The campsite is located between TH3 and TH4 so it was a perfect location. The Cozy cabin is designed with attention to detail and love by TERRY, Camp host and owner. The tent campsites are nicely arranged close to one of the two stocked ponds. There is a great community shelter with a shower stall and sink, picnic table and barbecue facilities. Terry is very nice and made sure we didn’t need anything. We couldn’t have asked for a greater 3 day stay and will be back. I hope you will also.

Great little spot for just a weekend! Host were very friendly and accommodating. There was 9 of us in the cabin, and 3 of them were teenage boys! You might want to bring an extra fan or 2 for the bunk bed room. Bring games to play for indoors and outdoors.
