Located an hour west of Portland through Oregons wine country. We are located in Scoggins valley which is home to Henry Hagg lake and the Scoggins valley park. The Lake offers a bunch of recreation including swimming , boating ,fishing ,hiking , biking and paddle board rentals. The camp site is situated on the bottom of my property a half mile from the lake. It is a fairly secluded campsite with room for up to 6 tents. Nestled in the woods there is a nice verity of sunny and shady spots a campfire spot, a picnic table and a porta potty. Sain Creek recreational area is just off our road at the lake with C- ramp another quarter of a mile around the lake. All of the lake is a park so you have to enter the park to come to our spot.

We are located in Banks, Oregon. We are approximately 45 minutes west of downtown Portland. Our camping area is about 5 acres and offers something for everyone. If you have a large RV and need a safe and quiet spot to stay for the night, we got you. We have a large fire pit, Adirondak chairs, a large picnic table, and a swing set for the kids. Family get-togethers or birthday parties are welcome!
We are located just 1.5 miles from The Banks-Vernonia Trail. Bike campers are welcome! Feel free to bring along your 4-legged friends as well. We do not have a fence, so if you do not trust your dog of a leash, please keep them tied up. We have a lot of deer that pass through and untrained dogs love chasing them.
Banks has a few restaurants to choose from: Subway, Dairy Queen, Main Street Pizza, Mary's Mexican Food, Hop-Cycle Brewing to name a few. There is also a Supermarket in town just in case you forgot your S'mores supplies, Spirits, or campfire wood. We are about 20 minutes away from McMenamins Grand Lodge, in Forest Grove, which hosts some great live concerts during the summer.
We have a few fishing spots within about 30 minutes of the property. Hagg lake, Horning's Hideout, Dorman's Pond and the Wilson River are all popular spots.
We have clean well water and 50A electrical hookups. We do not offer dumping of black water, but you can empty your tank at the Elks club in Forest Grove (25-minute drive) for free or Camping World over in Hillsboro. I don't mind if you drain your gray water on the property as long as you use a longer hose to keep it away from the immediate camping area. The parking area for RV's is fairly level and easy to get in and out of.
During the late summer, our 5 apple trees produce great fruit. We also have 2 plum trees, and some blackberries. Feel free to pick what you would like.
Currently, we do not have any public bathroom facilities available for campers, so please plan accordingly. Please, only book if you have an RV with working plumbing. **We will not accept tent campers**

20 years ago James and Patricia purchased land that had been logged multiple time, and built a house to raise a family, and watch the forest regrow. James loves trains and this area had a logging operation in the early 1900's that included railroads, donkey engines and logging camps in the area.
In the 1980's several 10 to 20 acre parcels were sold to people who wanted a piece of the country life. James and Patricia now live on one of those parcels and look forward to the next generation enjoying the country life.
When James and Patricia bought the property, the previous owner had cut down most of the trees and would mow most of the land. The land was allowed to recover with alder being the first forest which replenished the soil. In a few areas scotch broom (invasive plants) took hold. Not wanting to use toxic chemicals that could leach into the water supply getting rid of scotch broom was a challenge but now there is large meadow with baby Christmas trees growing (marked by the red flags). In many other places douglas fir has planted itself along with new cedar trees. There is beautiful undergrowth that includes thimble berry, Oregon grape, candy stripe and many other wild plants. There is red huckleberry growing in various places and makes a great snack when they are ripe.
Speaking of wild,
there is a lot wildlife here. Several species of birds live here including
family of humming birds. Sometimes you will see grouse, geese, ducks, swallows, red tail hawks, even a glimpse of a bald eagle. There are wild bunnies, gardener snakes, frogs, salamanders. If you go along the trails you might see signs of deer or coyote.
There are currently chickens that live near the garage and garden (that's why dogs must be on leash).

Pitch your tent in a shady meadow next to a small pond. Enjoy the serenity and the coastal mountain breezes flowing through the tree tops. There are hiking trails through forest land. Wake in the morning to birds singing, and fall asleep to the frogs in the pond. Clear nights and you can see a lot of stars. During the right season there are blackberries, red huckleberries and thimble berries. The Banks-Vernonia Linear trail State park and LL Stub Stewart are both near this beautiful little space.

you are welcome to walk around the field during your stay, pick some blackberries, apples or plums but please be aware and careful as we do have some poison oak on the property. I encourage you to stay on a path.

Find an escape on this small blueberry farm in Sherwood Oregon. Campsite is bordered by a small year-round Creek, there is lots of shade and privacy.

Located an hour west of Portland through Oregons wine country. We are located in Scoggins valley which is home to Henry Hagg lake and the Scoggins valley park. The Lake offers a bunch of recreation including swimming , boating ,fishing ,hiking , biking and paddle board rentals. The camp site is situated on the bottom of my property a half mile from the lake. It is a fairly secluded campsite with room for up to 6 tents. Nestled in the woods there is a nice verity of sunny and shady spots a campfire spot, a picnic table and a porta potty. Sain Creek recreational area is just off our road at the lake with C- ramp another quarter of a mile around the lake. All of the lake is a park so you have to enter the park to come to our spot.

Also, there are no camp fires allowed, the setting is heavily wooded and the fire danger is too high. Propane based cooking stoves are fine to use outside.
Dogies are welcome and need to be on a lead 100% of the time if outside.

offering up an area on our property for clean, friendly, quiet campers that want to get out of the city and enjoy some peace and quiet.
We are located in Banks, Oregon. We are approximately 45 minutes west of downtown Portland. Our camping area is about 5 acres and offers something for everyone. If you have a large RV and need a safe and quiet spot to stay for the night, we got you. We have a large fire pit, Adirondak chairs, a large picnic table, and a swing set for the kids. Family get-togethers or birthday parties are welcome!
We are located just 1.5 miles from The Banks-Vernonia Trail. Bike campers are welcome! Feel free to bring along your 4-legged friends as well. We do not have a fence, so if you do not trust your dog of a leash, please keep them tied up. We have a lot of deer that pass through and untrained dogs love chasing them.
Banks has a few restaurants to choose from: Subway, Dairy Queen, Main Street Pizza, Mary's Mexican Food, Hop-Cycle Brewing to name a few. There is also a Supermarket in town just in case you forgot your S'mores supplies, Spirits, or campfire wood. We are about 20 minutes away from McMenamins Grand Lodge, in Forest Grove, which hosts some great live concerts during the summer.
We have a few fishing spots within about 30 minutes of the property. Hagg lake, Horning's Hideout, Dorman's Pond and the Wilson River are all popular spots.
We have clean well water and 50A electrical hookups. We do not offer dumping of black water, but you can empty your tank at the Elks club in Forest Grove (25-minute drive) for free or Camping World over in Hillsboro. I don't mind if you drain your gray water on the property as long as you use a longer hose to keep it away from the immediate camping area. The parking area for RV's is fairly level and easy to get in and out of.
During the late summer, our 5 apple trees produce great fruit. We also have 2 plum trees, and some blackberries. Feel free to pick what you would like.
Currently, we do not have any public bathroom facilities available for campers, so please plan accordingly. Please, only book if you have an RV with working plumbing. **We will not accept tent campers**

Talons property is gorgeous! His directions were spot-on, and he was there to greet us upon arrival (comfortably available, not hawkish). Quiet, clean property with lots of space and serene.

Weekend Trip to Sunset Ridge
I had such a relaxing time in this yurt. It's such a convenient location--feels deep in the forest but the city is nearby. The amenities are solid--a cozy bed with lots of warm layers, hot water for coffee or tea in the barn (lots of teabags). A huge bathroom with unique vintage items to catch the eye. This is a praceful spot and I slept better than I have for weeks.

This space is so thoughtfully planned out.
The swing and hammocks are so relaxing, the little fairy gardens and games add so much sprinkled in joy, making it a great place for families or anyone that appreciates whimsy.
The giant trees are very peaceful and there were so many perfect spots for a tent.
I would absolutely recommend this spot. So cute. Felt very secluded but has close access to so many trails. Seriously if you can book this place and you’re looking for a forest park retreat it’s the one. Pack light though, they’re not joking about that hike in being all uphill.

I loved the land and the layout of finding the tent. I went with my kids and myself, it essentially is perfect for having kids there and exploring with them. They have a awesome tree house with a cool zip line. (Hoping to try that out next time!) A trampoline, and my kids absolutely loved walking into the tent area to their tent and out from. Hoping to stay there again in the future! :)

Such a special space, fun even when it's raining (the tree cover kept it pretty light even when it was pouring at the road), and so close to Sauvie's island adventures. Great pit stop for us. We don’t need any extra amenities so this was the perfect midway point and we didn’t have to worry about finding a dispersed spot deep in the woods. Would def recommend. Nice grassy spot. We have our own propane fire pit as well. Was cozy for the night!

For $20 it is a perfectly good camp spot. The best part is the farm cat came down at dusk and watched over the site, keeping everything safe. Super friendly cat. The out houses are fine and there was a garbage can and recycling. Setting is nice in a tree grove on a working farm. I would bring your own drinking water for sure. Nothing fancy but you would not expect for the price. Neighboring farm equipment started pretty early in the morning but wasn't too loud. Off the main road far enough to be quiet.
