We also have 3 units inside the lodge for the people who need just a step up from glamping, but not quite the whole hotel experience. The Grist Mill is also available for rent too! This is a very romantic, yet rustic getaway equipped with a half bath as well. Sit outside on the deck and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature and at night the sound of the waterfall will lull you to sleep. The shower is located in the Lodge bathhouse. (To book this unit you must send a message to us and we will reserve it for you. The price is different than the campsites but we will go over that with you)

Bring bug spray and sun screen. If you need something, don't worry! There is a Dollar General, a gas station and a small cafe within walking distance.
We have 38 acres of camping sites nature trails for hiking and mountain biking.
Guests can park right on their site, or they have the option of parking and hiking into the woods to set up their site a bit more remote and off the beaten path.
This is rustic camping. We have a bathhouse located at the campsites with showers. The bathhouse at the Great Lodge
hereas we do have garbage cans, we prefer that anything you bring into the property, you bring out with you.
We allow campfires.
The fishing is amazing in these parts, so if you are an angler, come and visit.
We have .75 miles of frontage on the Orange Creek. The creek flows into Lake Ocklawaha which just so happens to be one of the best bass fishing lakes in the USA. In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. The combined Ocklawaha and St. Johns drainage basin is possibly the most significant river-estuary waterway of Florida. This water system is of legendary reputation among anglers of largemouth bass who seek 10 pound plus trophy fish.
Conveniently located between Ocala and Gainesville in the heart of Orange Springs, Florida, Camp Seminole Spring is perfectly located for the traveler who wants to really connect with nature. It appears to be ‘off the beaten path’, yet it is close enough to civilization so that even the most seasoned camper can make a quick run to store should he or she need something not found in nature.
Camp Seminole Spring is mid-way (approx.. 22 miles) between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, which are two thriving cities in this area of Florida. Ocala, the ‘horse capital of the world’ showcases a brand new multi-billion-dollar equestrian center which draws people from all over the world.
This scenic property has an artesian spring which pushes out 1.6 million gallons of water per day rated among the top three percent of water in the world with an 8.4 natural pH. This water fills the pond and then continues on to flow into Orange Creek.
Camp Seminole Springs was established in the 1940’s as a honeymoon resort and campground. The founders built a heart-shaped ‘pond-spring’ which is filled with the crystal-clear water pushed out from the spring where guests can lounge by the beach or gaze down into the bottom through the glass-like water or take a refreshing swim.
At the top of the hill overlooking the heart-shaped spring, one will find the rustic Great Lodge where guests can come and mingle with each other, enjoy a relaxing conversation and a drink on the veranda or just sit and watch the activity in and around the spring.

We have 8 pigs, 6 goats, 5 dogs, 4 horses, 2 rabbits, 1 donkey and a variety of more than 60 birds that free range the property. While we are talking about birds, watch the bats take flight at dusk in the open pastures. and once night falls, enjoy the stars, moon, planes and satellites while they keep the skies busy.
Local favorites include Holmes Creek Livery (13 mins away), Falling Waters State Park (15 mins away), Sunshine Riding Stables (24 mins away), Marianna Caverns State Park (40 mins away), Ponce De Leon Springs State Park (40 mins away) and Panama City Beach (45 mins away.)
We have participated in or visited all of these places and can provide you with information, discounts, and more if you are interested in any of these activities during your stay.
We have 2 site options currently: A semi-primitive camping site, with an outhouse, water pump, picnic table and firepit. As well as a site with 50-amp hookup and water but no sewage at this time. The electric site is close to the residence and overlooks a 2-acre pasture that our animals rotate on and is open to BoonDockers Welcome guests.
Our farm is ready for RVs, campers, or off-grid adventurers. We hope to add a Hammocking with the Horses site and a Hike in site in the near future. As well, we will include extras for a small fee like, farm fresh eggs, forage walks, be a farmer for a day, walk a goat and up-close animal encounters. Please stay tuned.

The farm you’re camping on is one of the last family farms remaining in Columbia County and is named Glenn Farm after DV Glenn who married Hettie Lou Niblack in the 1930’s. Over the last 150 years it has been farmed by some of the county’s oldest families such as the Niblack and Ellis families. When DV Glenn came to Florida from his farm in Cairo, GA he took over the portion of the Niblack farm that was inherited by his wife Hettie Lou. At that time he was running native Florida cattle on over 6000 acres. Unfortunately, In 1951 he was killed in a hunting accident leaving his wife with the farm and 4 children (ages 4-11). In order to survive, Hettie Lou Niblack Glenn was forced to sell 5000 acres at $25 an acre. Holding a bachelors degree from Florida State College for Women, she was able to secure a job at the University of Florida as a secretary and with the money from the land sale she was able to raise her four children. Of the original farm, 600 acres remain intact and the Glenn family is trying to keep the farm as an agricultural operation. Your campsite is 1 of 4 spots (Arrowhead Sink, Dunagan’s Meadow, North Hall Pasture or Magnolia Sink). We also have a 1 bedroom Tiny home that used to be the farm office. Dunagan’s meadow is a pasture behind the old farmhouse (built in 1824), Magnolia sink and The North Hall Pasture are also on the main farm while Arrowhead Sink is on the edge of a hayfield about a mile down a dirt road. Glenn Farm is a place to come relax and experience a world that is rapidly disappearing. It is not a commercial campground.

Goat House Farm is a 501(c)3 owned micro-farm in a rural area of Tallahassee on the beautiful Lake Talquin. The farm has its humble beginnings in the summer of 2015 with four acres, four goats, and four chickens. Founded on the love of animals and a passion for sustainability, we remain committed to compassionate practices and the most natural care of our land and animals as possible.
As stewards of the land and herd, we believe we have a responsibility to share nature's blessings. We offer several agritourism opportunities on the farm, from farmstays to day visits. Our primary program is to serve area youth with agricultural education and the opportunities to work with our goats. All proceeds from bookings go toward our programming.
Please note that February and March is transition time on the farm when we are planting new pastures and working on projects so photos might be different during those 2 months!
It is our goal to create a space where our visitors can have fun and learn about the animals who share that space. We also strive to serve as a valuable resource for first time goat owners. To support that endeavor, we sell specialty cottage goods and natural goat milk products. We also sell raw goat milk (for pet consumption only, as per Florida law - Master Feed License #ZOO406).

There are livestock guardian dogs that protect the farm. They sleep lots during the day and patrol at night so they bark lots at night...
We are a REAL WORKING FARM. You can join in on morning feeding or collet eggs. You can watch or help with morning milking!
If you are real adventurous you can help around the farm!!!
You can pitch you tent in the pine forest or in the open area next to the ponds!
We make and sell homemade cheeses. Please check out our Farm Store !
We are conveniently located off of I-10 and hwy 231.
We have numerus Florida State Parks within minutes of our location!

In fact, ten-pound bass are not uncommon from the Lake Ocklawaha River in the winter. Recently (2020), a 17.2-pound bass was caught there. Camp Seminole Spring is mid-way (approx.. 22 miles) between Ocala and Gainesville, Florida, which are two thriving cities in this area of Florida. Ocala, the ‘horse capital of the world’ showcases a brand new multi-billion-dollar equestrian center which draws people from all over the world.
This scenic property has an artesian spring which pushes out 1.6 million gallons of water per day rated among the top three percent of water in the world with an 8.4 natural pH. This water fills the pond and then continues on to flow into Orange Creek.
Camp Seminole Springs was established in the 1940’s as a honeymoon resort and campground. The founders built a heart-shaped ‘pond-spring’ which is filled with the crystal-clear water pushed out from the spring where guests can lounge by the beach or gaze down into the bottom through the glass-like water or take a refreshing swim.
At the top of the hill overlooking the heart-shaped spring, one will find the rustic Great Lodge where guests can come and mingle with each other, enjoy a relaxing conversation and a drink on the veranda or just sit and watch the activity in and around the spring.

Local favorites include Holmes Creek Livery (13 mins away), Falling Waters State Park (15 mins away), Sunshine Riding Stables (24 mins away), Marianna Caverns State Park (40 mins away), Ponce De Leon Springs State Park (40 mins away) and Panama City Beach (45 mins away.)
We have participated in or visited all of these places and can provide you with information, discounts, and more if you are interested in any of these activities during your stay.
We have 2 site options currently: A semi-primitive camping site, with an outhouse, water pump, picnic table and firepit. As well as a site with 50-amp hookup and water but no sewage at this time. The electric site is close to the residence and overlooks a 2-acre pasture that our animals rotate on and is open to BoonDockers Welcome guests.
Our farm is ready for RVs, campers, or off-grid adventurers. We hope to add a Hammocking with the Horses site and a Hike in site in the near future. As well, we will include extras for a small fee like, farm fresh eggs, forage walks, be a farmer for a day, walk a goat and up-close animal encounters. Please stay tuned.

The farm you’re camping on is one of the last family farms remaining in Columbia County and is named Glenn Farm after DV Glenn who married Hettie Lou Niblack in the 1930’s. Over the last 150 years it has been farmed by some of the county’s oldest families such as the Niblack and Ellis families. When DV Glenn came to Florida from his farm in Cairo, GA he took over the portion of the Niblack farm that was inherited by his wife Hettie Lou. At that time he was running native Florida cattle on over 6000 acres. Unfortunately, In 1951 he was killed in a hunting accident leaving his wife with the farm and 4 children (ages 4-11). In order to survive, Hettie Lou Niblack Glenn was forced to sell 5000 acres at $25 an acre. Holding a bachelors degree from Florida State College for Women, she was able to secure a job at the University of Florida as a secretary and with the money from the land sale she was able to raise her four children. Of the original farm, 600 acres remain intact and the Glenn family is trying to keep the farm as an agricultural operation. Your campsite is 1 of 4 spots (Arrowhead Sink, Dunagan’s Meadow, North Hall Pasture or Magnolia Sink). We also have a 1 bedroom Tiny home that used to be the farm office. Dunagan’s meadow is a pasture behind the old farmhouse (built in 1824), Magnolia sink and The North Hall Pasture are also on the main farm while Arrowhead Sink is on the edge of a hayfield about a mile down a dirt road. Glenn Farm is a place to come relax and experience a world that is rapidly disappearing. It is not a commercial campground.

Great great host very accommodating. I really enjoyed my stay there. He and his family made me feel like part of their family and their property. Anytime I needed anything. He was always there to help out and make helpful suggestions. We really enjoyed feeding his animals and thanked him for saving them. He runs a rescue for animals that are unwanted. He allowed us to feed his animals.
I’d also like to mention his wife Carla, who is also awesome and if you or your significant other is in need of a great manicure or pedicure, she was able to do that for us during our stay we thoroughly enjoyed that part of our stay. Getting your feet pampered is always a bonus during camping.

Gateway Trails is by far the best Hipcamp site I have visited. Jay and his pup greeted us to make sure we had everything we needed. We only made a quick overnight but honestly I could have stayed for days. Highly recommend especially to solo travelers looking for a safe place to rest your head.

We had a wonderful stay at Bowman’s landing campsite 1! We came to visit nearby springs and it was a convenient location. My husband kept saying that the place felt magical. It felt quiet, remote, and woodsy. We loved walking over to the dock at sunset and in the morning. The hosts were friendly and helpful and gave us a tour upon arrival. The primitive site is a semi-far walk from the bathhouse (at least in the dark), so the hosts offer bikes to use if desired. We hope to return one day!

This place is absolutely beautiful! Such a peaceful experience. We arrived late, and I had a-lot of questions because it was so dark. Perry was so kind and easygoing made us feel right at home. Amazing water fall, heart shaped pond, leading to a path along a creek. In the back is a natural mineral bath. Cute tents on platforms to rent if you like. There are bathrooms and showers if you need. We’ll definitely be back and bring friends!

This was our second time at the Glamper 2 and it was fantastic, once again! My daughter loves this set up and loves the surroundings. The provided kayaks where the highlight of the trip for her this time around. Very quiet and secluded, it’s far enough removed that it’s peaceful but close enough to the main roads should you need some. We will definitely be returning again.

Weekend Trip to Bay Forest Retreat
The spot was beautiful!! We loved the glamping tent. The linens were clean and comfortable, and the location was quiet and serene. We had a lovely time in the kayaks and around the fire. The outdoor shower was invigorating, too! The facilities were clean, including the port a potty. We never could get the well to work, but if needed, water can be gathered from the water source in the outdoor shower. Overall, a wonderful experience.
