I have a very private campsite that is off grid. No power. No water. Bare bones minimal just a spot to pop a tent with wind and sun protection and a view. There’s an outhouse but the camping toilet that is provided is NOT maintained. Bring your own TP, camping bags and please leave clean for the next person. There’s a large deck to lounge and watch the sun rise or set. You can pitch a tent on the deck or on several cleared spots on the ground. JT national park is a 15 minute drive and there’s a corner mart nearby. You can use the trampoline, there’s a fire pit (bring your own firewood), and please bring your own camping chairs, water, toilet paper/wipes and you must dispose of your waste. Refunds not given for any mess other campers have left behind. Your fee covers a place to pop a tent with a view. Any issues you encounter I encourage you to report. 🌞🌵🏜️

At 10,833 feet in elevation, this is the second highest peak in California. There are two ways to get to the summit. You can hike the whole thing or shave off about 6000 vertical feet by riding the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. Either way, the summit is not to be missed.
For a real challenge try the epic Cactus to Clouds trail. It was rated as one of the hardest day hikes in the world by Backpacking Magazine. Its 21 miles take you skyward through sub-alpine forests, mountain meadows, snow-dusted crags, and gnarled granite. An alpine start is required to avoid the midday heat so be prepared and take plenty of water.
Campers have plenty to choose from. The San Jacinto area offers two drive-in campsites, four hike-in primitive campsites, and adventures for every brand of wilderness craving. If you want to backpack to the summit over a day or two try the Deer Springs Trail. This park has adventures for every brand of wilderness craving.

Wi-Fi is provided by a third-party company and a separate service fee applies. Please note that we cannot guarantee the speed, rate, or troubleshooting of the Wi-Fi service. For your convenience, a wash station for dishes is available on-site, and the Joshua Tree Laundromat is located 9 miles away in downtown Joshua Tree. For campfires, it is important to keep them contained inside the designated burn barrels and never leave them unattended. In the event of high winds, campfire, and BBQ use may be suspended for safety reasons.

The property counts with 2 campsites - A & B, and each guest will be assigned with either one accordingly at the time of the booking confirmation.
Other things to note:
We encourage our guests to pack in their trash and take it with them, as trash cans are not provided to avoid wild animals on the property and the wind to blow the trash out.
Also, please make sure to clip the chain back to the post on the main entrance before you leave to avoid trespassing.
A portable toilet is provided to our guests for their convenience.

You'll find quite an eclectic selection of vinyl which we encourage to explore and play on the the vintage turntable. A docking station is also provided should you decide to play via bluetooth or plug directly into your phone. In addition to the wrap around patio, we've created a unique experience for our guests. I have a very private campsite that is off grid. No power. No water. Bare bones minimal just a spot to pop a tent with wind and sun protection and a view. There’s an outhouse but the camping toilet that is provided is NOT maintained. Bring your own TP, camping bags and please leave clean for the next person. There’s a large deck to lounge and watch the sun rise or set. You can pitch a tent on the deck or on several cleared spots on the ground. JT national park is a 15 minute drive and there’s a corner mart nearby. You can use the trampoline, there’s a fire pit (bring your own firewood), and please bring your own camping chairs, water, toilet paper/wipes and you must dispose of your waste. At 10,833 feet in elevation, this is the second highest peak in California. There are two ways to get to the summit. You can hike the whole thing or shave off about 6000 vertical feet by riding the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. Either way, the summit is not to be missed.
For a real challenge try the epic Cactus to Clouds trail. It was rated as one of the hardest day hikes in the world by Backpacking Magazine. Its 21 miles take you skyward through sub-alpine forests, mountain meadows, snow-dusted crags, and gnarled granite. An alpine start is required to avoid the midday heat so be prepared and take plenty of water.
Campers have plenty to choose from. The San Jacinto area offers two drive-in campsites, four hike-in primitive campsites, and adventures for every brand of wilderness craving. If you want to backpack to the summit over a day or two try the Deer Springs Trail. This park has adventures for every brand of wilderness craving.

Fishing is currently closed. Pet owners will be pleased to know that their furry friends are welcome, but there will be an additional fee added to the reservation. Wi-Fi is provided by a third-party company and a separate service fee applies. Please note that we cannot guarantee the speed, rate, or troubleshooting of the Wi-Fi service. For your convenience, a wash station for dishes is available on-site, and the Joshua Tree Laundromat is located 9 miles away in downtown Joshua Tree. For campfires, it is important to keep them contained inside the designated burn barrels and never leave them unattended. In the event of high winds, campfire, and BBQ use may be suspended for safety reasons.

The place is nice for anyone who wants to experience camping without actually camping. It is well equipped with the bed and pillow being nice. There is light inside which was really helpful. However, I must note that it is a bit far from Joshua national park and there are almost no light outside camp. But for the price this place is worth it. If you are tall (above 6”) note that you might feel a little cramped in the place since your head might touch the ceiling

Loved this campsite! Came here with my spouse and 2 dogs. It’s a great beginner campground. Check in/out was smooth. They have bathrooms and showers available & the lake is pretty to walk around. They even have firewood and snacks for purchase. I loved the fact that security was patrolling the site at night so we felt safe. Our campsite was great because it was off the side and not near other campers while still not feeling too isolated. Would come here again!

Beautiful land and well-kept sites. Bathrooms and showers are some of the best I’ve experienced camping. My advice would be to be prepared for wind as well as heat. We improvised a tarp/ easy-up wind block so we could enjoy dinner.

I had an awesome time despite the wind. Only a couple nights of super loud tent slapping noises. Noise cancelling headphones help! Shower room is super clean and lovely compared to other camps. Was crucial to have ice from the shop to keep cool - plus a canopy - much cooler in the shade! Put a hummingbird feeder out! Loved having those flying jewels as campmates. Gorgeous sunsets and lots of calm mornings and nights before the winds - which cool things down, so are welcome in that respect!

Great views, wonderful stargazing, and so nice to have amenities like bathroom/showers and the awesome hot tub in the evening.

Tao’s place was magical ! The care he put into his whimsical desert retreat made it very special and very enjoyable. An amazing gorgeous 80 feet long pool was main attraction for me during very windy and cold March week end .
Huge kitchen to prep your meals fully stocked with all you need ( bonus point : brand new pots and pans , not a single scratch on them !)
The one of a kind huge hangar on the other side of the pool was a safe refuge from the wind with couches and places to relax among musical instruments, recording equipment , books and chess boards.
Absolutely stunning view of San Gorgonio dominates the sunrise and sunset view. There is enough room for everyone and it doesn’t feel crowded. Very grateful for superb directions which are very easy to follow.
Huge bonus for me was a real flash toilet option unlike many other camps.
The dirt road to the property was very passable and easy to follow.

We had an amazing time! We were there during a strong wind warning and it was very windy but that didn’t take away from the beautiful property and all the really cool amenities that were offered here. The pool/hot tub was such an awesome addition to our trip. The kitchen was built so well that we might actually steal the idea for our own home haha. The outside of the hut was so cool and rustic looking but the inside…wow. You can tell a lot of love and hard work went into making this place unique but also cozy. We will be back soon and often!
