2.5 acres abutting even more BLM land. Marvel at the dark star filled skies, the quiet solitude and endless views while you relax by a crackling fire. You will be visited by curious road runners, so don't leave your doors open or they will let themselves in and if you leave any cheese or proteins unattended don't be surprised when they disappear. The site has it's own firepit, charcoal grill, hammock, picnic table and outdoor solar lighting otherwise, there is NO POWER, WATER or GAS to sites so bring your own. There is ample room for tents, RVs or small camper trailers as well just check ahead for accommodations and best access depending on size and type of RV or camper. Cretan Labyrinth, rock garden, cornhole, bocce ball and giant chess as well as the outhouse and outdoor shower is shared between this site and the others, if they happen to be booked at the same time. This is camping which means you BRING YOUR OWN LINENS, PILLOWS, BLANKETS and supplies and leave it like or better than you found it. Pack it in, pack it out and enjoy your stay in the Mojave.

The campsite offers a serene and scenic escape, perfect for stargazing and enjoying the peaceful desert environment. Guests appreciate the thoughtful amenities like hammocks, fire pits, and comfortable sleeping arrangements in the RV. While the lack of electricity and running water is noted, it doesn't seem to detract from the overall enjoyment. Mikael, the host, is frequently praised for his attentiveness and helpfulness.

Mikael was a great host! We initially booked a tent site and he warned us of the impending rain storm and upgraded us to his AMAZING stargazer cabin for really cheap. It absolutely saved our trip. Beautiful location and top tier amenities. Felt more like a full glamp weekend than camping. Beyond satisfied with everything and his responsiveness was prompt always. Will definitely be staying here again. 10/10

Drove from LA to Joshua Tree for stargazing - perfect place to see the beautiful night sky. Very peaceful and also the perfect place to enjoy the sunrise as it’s peaking behind the mountains.

    • Good morning Mr. Sun!

Felt very safe as a solo female traveler. Great proximity to Joshua Tree National Park. Amenities were camping-level nice, too. Would recommend!
