Great little spot in the desert! We stayed there in October with a friend and had to do our little Babymoon there this weekend. We came well prepared this time with plenty of water, food to cook on the mini inverter cooktop, and plenty of snacks as this place is nice and remote. It has all the comforts you need, (comfy bed with fluffy pillows, nice large bathroom, kitchenette w full size fridge, AC/heating, a star-watching deck) just BYO water and food! Very clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back again!

The cabin was a wonderful hide away in the desert. The serenity of the landscape recharged us weary travelers. It was well appointed and very clean. Thanks for a lovely stay.

A clean home, warm shower, and cozy bed in the middle of the Mojave is a perfect place for me! As stated, there is only one queen bed so remember your extra bedding for additional campers. Everything was as stated in the listing. It does require driving a bumpy dirt road for a few miles but I’m guessing if you’re already a Hipcamper, your car will fare just fine. Given the road condition, it was about 35 minutes to the West entrance of J. Tree. Had a blast and would gladly stay again should we find ourselves needing a Mojave fix.

Such a nice retreat in the desert! Quiet and comfy with amazing views for sunrise, sunset and stargazing. Definitely recommend an SUV or truck for the tricky roads as other reviews mentioned. Overall we had an incredible time and loved the cozy bed and nice AC after long hot hikes in the park.

Jessica’s place is very cozy and well kept and overall we really enjoyed our stay. The only caveat (which may or may not really be a caveat for some people) is that it is OUT there. It’s definitely quite an adventurous drive and might be stressful depending on your expectations of the roads/what type of vehicle you have. I’d strongly recommend a 4 wheel drive car or truck to handle the dirt roads. It’s about a 15-20 min of dirt road drive once you are out of Joshua Tree. That said it is a lovely place to stargaze, the bed is very comfortable, and the place is clean. We really enjoyed our stay, it’s a perfect place to hang out after a long day in the national park!

Our stay at this Joshua Tree Home was truly magnificent. The peace, quiet, and wide open space felt like the perfect reset; exactly what we needed to recharge and reconnect with ourselves. There’s something so special about being surrounded by that kind of stillness.
The host did an incredible job creating a space that feels both cozy and luxurious. Every detail was thoughtful, making it easy to relax the moment we arrived. It honestly felt a little magical.

Enjoyed the peace and quiet for a much-needed retreat from busyness. It’s a taste of desert life. Safe and simple. Will return when needed, and the front row seat for the Milky Way season. But I may ask Jessica to not let me know the wifi password, to make it a more complete retreat.

Jessica's place is fantastic and extremely convenient. The surrounding area is beautiful, you have the option of camping or staying inside, and you have a shower, kitchen, and fridge.
This was my second time here and I'd come again. Jessica is very responsive, accommodating, and friendly.
I love this place. It's a diamond in the rough.

It’s nice, cozy, and free from distractions. It had everything I needed for basic lodging. The dirt road was something that I needed to get used to but not much of an issue.
I would recommend this place if you’re looking for something small and simple.

Had such a great solo retreat here, I appreciated the well decorated interior that made it feel very homey. Perfect degree of isolation for me personally, very quiet with only occasional cars passing by and a short drive to the national park.
The wifi essentially didn’t work, t-mobile cell service had a better connection. I didn’t mind this as I came here to disconnect. Be mindful of intersections on the dirt roads where no one has a stop sign, a local I spoke with says there have plenty of accidents at these intersections as the area has gotten busier.
Overall loved my experience and will definitely be back!

It is a warm cozy retreat with all the necessities to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend a vehicle with decent ground clearance. We took a jeep. Joshua tree national park is a must see place. Careful of the two chairs on the porch they look like they have been there a while

This place is spectacular. Secluded, safe, and thoughtfully decorated. Make sure you follow the hosts' directions and not Google Maps. We accidentally ended up on Winters Road and it was no fun. Highly recommend for anyone heading to Joshua tree!

If you’d like to keep busy doing nothing, then this is the spot for you. Great little Place with great views all the way around.not too many neighbors around this property to obstruct the view of the greatness that it offers. Just about everything that you would need for kitchen is included with the rental and with a little bit of imagination, this property becomes more magical. Only thing I would recommend is for you to bring your own food whether it’s from the restaurant down the street or from home just to avoid driving the dirt roads.

Thank you so much for the unique experience. Stargazing and exchanging stories beneath the stars with my partner was truly magical it felt like our relationship created a core memory we’ll always be able to share. Visiting the town was wonderful as well, with so many charming little shops and the mountains rising beautifully in the background. Seeing Joshua Tree National Park for the first time was breathtaking. The sunrises and sunsets from this location were absolutely ethereal, the kind that make you pause and just take it all in.

The space itself is very nice and the view of the night sky is incredible. However, based on our experience driving in a sedan without 4WD, we only recommend coming here if you're driving 4WD. The dirt/unpaved roads definitely necessitate that and we wish we'd known the severity of the roads more than a few days in advance to prepare. Otherwise, the cabin is super clean and comfortable.

This place was fabulous. It’s exactly as described- the roads are a little rough and the property is quiet with the most beautiful views. It’s quiet without being desolate, and amenities are exactly as described. The bed is wonderful, though the sofa isn’t terribly supportive. It’s clean, well decorated, but uncluttered.

Cute little cabin getaway 😻 Host provided yoga mats, toaster over, induction cooktop and shower essentials. I had a much needed solo retreat at this beautiful little desert place.
Make sure you close the dumpster lid when taking the trash out!
While you're there, visit the Noah Purifoy outdoor desert art museum nearby.✌️

Had so much fun start gazing and relaxing here. It was perfect and cozy for 2. Certainly some things that could be fixed but that didn’t stop us from having a great time. Having only stayed one night, I can’t wait to go back and spend possibly a few days here.
Might need fixing:
Side door didn’t close properly, bed support wooden pieces fell off during the night , space heater didn’t work.
Honestly was so worth it for just being one night. 10/10 would recommend for a little get away from the city.

The cabin was beautiful inside and out. Follow their directions and for the safest and sure way to get to the campsite. You can use a sedan. I was coming from the west. Bumpy roads are better than sandy roads. The cabin has just about everything except for a TV which is okay given the beautiful nature just outside. Their couch is in poor condition but the bed is good. Great home base to go and explore the area. Would highly recommend!

Jessica's cabin was quiet and peaceful and a wonderful place to land for a few days.
i deeply appreciated that when i arrived, the cleaners had used natural products and there were no strong fragrances or chemicals.
