The concept of the space is amazing and beutiful. The A frame platform was perfect for winter nights. Firepit was a huge plus. We loved the primitive feel of the experience. However, the land hasn't been tended, loved upon or cared for. What little facilities we had access to were in disrepare. As much as we loved the concept we won't be staying again. This place could use some work and love and it would be amazing.

We loved our stay at Cassie’s! The property is out just far enough that you feel off the grid but you’re still pretty close to town and everything you might want to see while in JT! The deck was nice to have and the A-frame was great to sleep in to keep out of the wind. Cassie was so nice and made everything super easy. Hope to get to stay there again!

Perfect off-grid place! Close enough to the town and moments from the park. The A-frame was perfect for the high winds in the evening. It was great to have the kitchen set up on the deck! The dogs loved it. Quiet, private and easy to access.

We enjoyed the property in spite of some very high winds. I sat in the A-frame and soaked up the sun on my face and bare feet. Perfect temp out of the wind with a fabulous view.
We hate being stacked up like cordwood next to other campers, so this secluded spot really spoke to us. Close enough to town to run in for supplies, but a world away from close neighbors.
The World-Famous Crochet Museum is a hoot and of course Joshua Tree National Park is not to be missed.

Candlelight Campsite
Great little spot only about 15 minutes from downtown JT. Close enough to food, cell service etc, but far out enough for some peaceful views and pretty stars. The space was fully fenced, and had fun desert vibes. Cassie was super quick and helpful with communications and everything went as expected. Would definitely recommend this place!

I really can’t imagine a nicer place to stay in the desert. Lots of cool extras. The space and peacefulness of camping, with just enough extras of home. Would love to stay again.

My family and I stayed on Cassie’s Land for 3 nights, we liked that the property was fenced making it safe for our dog to freely run around. The land is on a mesa which provided really beautiful views. There is a campfire ring and bundles of firewood and kindling to start with. It was private and quiet we felt safe on the land. The shed was a nice refuge from a few cold and windy nights. The solar battery banks were so helpful to be able to charge our phones and camera equipment. We have at&t and we all had reception. My son had so much fun jumping on the trampoline.
We appreciated the two 5 gallon water jugs and easily refilled at gas station short drive away.
We set up our tent on the pagoda there are a few built in stakes but bring some of your own and rope bc ours didn’t reach the two that were available. Overall I would definitely recommend this campsite with so many extras!

Cassie's property was beautiful! We were secluded with amazing views of snow-capped mountains—perfect for sunrises and sunsets. Clear and easy instructions and helpful communication from Cassie. The property was clean and well-kept. There's a small market up the road, and the property is just a short drive to Joshua Tree NP.
