Please note that it is normal for the system to drop out for periods of 30 seconds up to 2 minutes at a time since this is early stage technology. STRONG WINDS The winds in the desert are very strong between February and June which may limit your enjoyment of the outdoor amenities. We do all we can to navigate around the winds but cannot control the impact it may have on your stay. POWER OUTAGES The power is cut off for 8-12 hours at least twice a year by the electrical company in order for maintenance to be done (for instance in preparation for the fire seasons). We inform our guests of outages as soon as we are made aware but cannot control the time or manner in which this may impact your stay. REFUNDS Should any inconveniences such as those listed above or anything else beyond our control affect your stay, we will not provide refunds. The location was perfect and had an attached path to explore the area below. Super quiet for my reactive pup where it’s just you at the site. The deck was fabulous and the included grill/cooking utensils was great. Serina was also super accommodating and responded quickly in the chat. If heading over when raining, the site is still accessible though I do recommend using a car with higher clearance as some of the unpaved roads in the surrounding neighborhood can get quite rough. No issue with my AWD and the road itself leading up to the cabin as it was well maintained.

Mikael's place was perfect! Very clean, easy to access, and private and remote, all at the same time. We had gorgeous views of the Mojave Desert. The amenities were also great and extremely comfortable. I highly recommend this if you want to visit Joshua Tree and are looking for a comfortable and clean place.

Absolutely wonderful stay, the bnb was everything we were hoping for. Very secluded, very close to the park, very clean, and stocked with cute little touches. I would absolutely come back to stay here again. My only notes that were non-issues for me: DO NOT IGNORE THE GIVEN DIRECTIONS! Seriously follow the directions given as some of the side roads can get fairly sandy. If you get lost or try to make your own detour, you might get stuck if you're in a smaller sedan. However, if you follow the map provided you can absolutely reach the property in a car that is not 4WD/AWD. Wifi. Wifi on the property is not the best, however signal is fairly strong and I never had an issue loading anything up just off my personal data. If you are planning on staying here and working remotely I'd ensure you have hotspotting available. Even if not, there are tons of cute cafes nearby! To end, this stay was amazing. I wouldn't let any of these scare you away from this spot. More things to be aware of. We genuinely loved this location and could not recommend it enough.

It’s very remote but still close to Joshua Tree maybe 10 minutes to the center of town. It’s a sand road to the place and the drive way up the hill to the cabin is a bit challenging. The view is amazing from the deck. A bit rustic and not anything fancy. The hot tub is nice.I think the property listed a washer and dryer, but it’s not for guest to use.

This is indeed a very serene and private location, you will be surrounded by nothingness and nature, maybe a few curious coyotes. If you are looking to disconnect from the world in the privacy of nature reserve and pristine dark sky at night, do it! Best time to go - during new moon. Then you will be wow'ed by the sky's beauty as you soak in a brand new hot tub.

I loved loved loved my stay. I was expecting to share the cabin with others, but got lucky and had it all to myself. The cabin was clean and cozy with a nice mattress. I didn't use the AC at all just slept with the windows open. I had an an amazing view of the night sky. The grounds are large but everyone staying there was clean and quiet. The only suggestion that I can think of is adding curtains to each bunk to give some privacy and block out light. Wish I could have stayed longer!

We had a wonderful experience at Serena’s camp. Directions were helpful and Serina was communicative. The cabin was as described with a wonderful bathroom. We loved hanging out on the covered porch and the hot tub was amazing to chill out and watch the shooting stars. Don’t hesitate - go ahead and book - you’ll be glad you did!!.

7 nights at SB Mountain Cabin Rentals
Great place, peaceful, beautiful, well maintained, and clean none toxic cookware! Haha I know that’s a funny thing to be excited about but as a cook I love stainless steel and all were stainless steel, also master bed and pillows very comfortable, Tempur-Pedic I believe. Lots of stairs, so just be aware we brought our elder dog and was a little tricky for him to navigate; but other than that, host replied quickly to all questions and highly recommended!

Joshua Tree NP is the bomb! I have loved coming here since I was a teenager. The scenery is exquisite, the hikes are awesome, and climbing on the rocks is the most fun!

Great looking spot. Only here one night, next time I want more time! Due to shut down, my pre booked spot was occupied by two ladies who had been told to camp anywhere by the ranger. But we all shared and had a good time!

SOOO beautiful. I loved it. if you get the chance definitely go into the park during sunset because the views are breathtaking!! its definitely a quick visit type of national park though. we did about 4 hikes, and as they were all beautiful, they were all pretty similar so I would say 1-2 days or even just a pop in drive through here is a perfect amount of time to stay at Joshua Tree!

Nice quiet campsites with a view. Stayed with friends in two adjacent sites. Ours was a bit uneven but there was a flat place where we could pitch our tent. The other site had a lot more flat space.

Unique Geology
First park we have visited that was in a desert environment. Lots of unique geology to see, which can be viewed by hiking or car. Park rangers were at various locations, even though they were not being paid due to the government shutdown. Park and roads were clean and in good condition. Glad we visited Joshua Tree NP.
