We are situated adjacent to state land that displays a majestic Saguaro forest in the mountains (where our small rural community meets the wilderness). Enjoy easy access to endless mountain trails as you roam through the this densely populated region of saguaros (hike or bring 4WD) . The local wildlife entails a variety of beautiful creatures of varying sizes.
All three Saguaro sites provide full RV services (water, electrical, and 30/50 amp hookups) with plenty of space between for enjoyment of the views. Boondocker sites are great for easy in-out dry camping, making for an early start for your trip out of town. Driving paths are covered with gravel throughout the property. Boondocker 2 is by currently closed for renovations.
We are just 10 minutes from the I-17 (Lake Pleasant is just a 30-45 minute drive). Phoenix is a close commute, where you will find many more amenities. Rent an off-road vehicle, boat for the lake (or bring yours!), or plan a tour and ENJOY YOUR STAY! We are more than happy to help facilitate your time here.
We welcome pets, but do note there are occasional encounters with neighborhood dogs and plenty of wildlife. For their safety, best to keep them leashed or bring an enclosure. In the future, we plan to provide an enclosure for dogs to safely play and run off-leash.

There is a dumping station approximately 2 miles away for your septic needs. Enjoy the beauty of the nearby desert and mountains. It is common to hear the coyotes and owls and other wildlife at night. The javelina herd often passes through as well as an occasional bobcat. Feel free to say hello to Luna, our Belgian Malinois! Not too long ago, our neighborhood roads were dirt, and there are still several horse ranches in the neighborhood. Hiking trails start at the end of our street leading to the Phoenix Mountains and a 3 minute drive will get you to Dreamy Draw Park and Piestewa Peak, with endless miles of hiking and grand views of the city.

Great camp location with easy access to conveniences while still being close to trails, countryside, mountains, and great hiking. The camp is professionally run, and it shows — the host has truly thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and easy.
We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the friendly goats, and the free-range chickens were the most well-mannered we’ve ever seen — present but never intrusive.
A relaxing, well-organized spot that we’d absolutely stay at again. Highly recommended.

2 nights at Phoenix Citi StarGazer A-Frame
My husband and I really enjoyed staying here. After car camping for two nights this felt luxurious. We desperately needed a hot shower after hiking for 2 days in Tucson and swimming. The place we stayed before only had cold water, while this shower got really hot very quickly, and it was so nice. It also might seem like a simple thing, but the industrial size shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was really nice for them to provide. Camping for 7 days out of a small backpack you only have room for free sample size toiletries, so I was able to wash my hair everyday here and after a long day of hiking it was exactly what we needed to feel refreshed. It was really cloudy the nights we stayed so the star lights were a nice touch. My husband was initially worried when I said it was in someone's backyard. But it was incredibly private. We rarely saw our host, and were able to enjoy the backyard, pool, and even enjoy a peaceful meal at the table next to the pool. He mentioned as we were leaving how different but nice this was compared to our other stays.

Shawn and Roxy responded quickly to our last minute reservation. Their property provided us with a large flat pad. They were both welcoming and able to provide us with some good tips. Other renters were friendly. Nice roads to walk on and dog friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at Tammii's property. The space was very nice, clean, and spacious, and was a great location for exploring the Phoenix area. The laundry was also a fantastic touch (especially for us traveling with young kids). Tammii and her family were all so welcoming and kind, and we really couldn't have asked for a better stay! We'd highly recommend for anyone traveling to the Phoenix area.

I loved camping here, it was clean, quiet and well lit. I was able to book super last minute- the host was helpful and extremely responsive! The spot had several different hook up options 50/30/20 and they offered water I think? I didn’t explore the water hookup though since I’m not self contained. The spot felt intimate and private. It’s super easy to find as the host gave great directions. There was an offer to meet upon arrival as well- it’s helpful but definitely you won’t have any problem finding the spot with host’s instructions. I would recommend this spot for anyone who needs a quiet night on in a safe property.

Beautiful hosts!! At the road to great me and assist with my parking! What a special place they have created.. peaceful, and safe.. as a single traveler.. it was nice to leave windows and doors open to the night air! I enjoyed walking the trail through the park.. and exploring the neighborhood the next day. I hope to return !

This was our first experience using Hipcamp and it was a very positive experience. Jared definitely set the bar high for any future stays at other locations. He was very welcoming, super helpful with providing local suggestions, and reached out before, during and after our stay to make sure our stay went well. Its located in a convenient location and is a beautiful well kept property. We are looking forward to staying there again.

What a fabulous stay! It is very quiet and has beautiful views. The hosts are extremely charming. They are quick to respond, wifi is fast, and access to laundry facilities was such a bonus! We highly recommend and we can’t wait to go back!

I enjoyed my two nights here and was able to get my 25' travel trailer in and out with out issue. Shawn and the family were friendly but mainly stayed towards towards the front of the lot (in the house) and gave me plenty of privacy in the back. Their dog seemed sweet but they kept her inside so she didn't interact with my sometimes excitable pair who invaded her space. Overall I'd recommend and would stay here again when passing through Phoenix.

Roxy and Shawn are great hosts. Nice spot that is away from traffic and noise . Great place to access trails for hiking or riding OHV. Also nearby to many restaurants and shopping locations which are in nearby Anthem . We spent two weeks there and really enjoyed it. One of our favorites. Thanks !
