Situated in Sierra National Forest—with Kings Canyon National Park and Yosemite National Park both under two hours away—Shaver Lake gives campers access to endless rugged terrain. Find family-friendly Shaver Lake cabin rentals in the balmy summer months to enjoy jet skiing, hiking, and mountain biking around the water. Nearby Huntington Lake provides even more access to fresh water as well as paddleboarding and kayaking. Drive north to visit Chilnualna Falls in Yosemite National Park, and conquer the 8-mile trail that rewards hikers with breathtaking views. And stay in Oakhurst at a cozy cabin rental equipped with air conditioning, potable water, showers, and picnic tables to get to the park quickly.
