For those who prefer to travel off the beaten path, a short 30-minute hike will take you to the National Forest. Then straight ahead you’ll see our master bedroom with a bathroom a walk-in closet, full bathroom with a jacuzzi bathtub. Our home does have AC/Heating by mini split units that are all new & purchased & installed in June 2022 and are maintained monthly. We also have 2 twin folding beds that can be set up in either bedroom or the living room. Purchased August 2022 for additional sleeping. Ring cameras are located on the outside of the property. No cameras are inside. Enjoy a nice evening on the front patio enjoying nature. A propane barbeque is located on the front porch. Absolutely no smoking on the property. Wildfires are common in & around the area & Three Rivers is a very high-risk area. Three Rivers has faced evacuation warnings in both 2020 & 2021 due to local raging wildfires. ABSOLUTELY NO SMOKING/FIRES ON/NEAR THE PROPERTY. BE ADVISED - Sequoia National Park has received significantly more snow and rain than normal this year (2023), which has resulted in some damage to some roadways within the park. The Mountain Chapel Campground was fantastic! I stayed at the Rustic Cabin. It was very simple, but great. No frills but had everything I needed. Comfortable bed, clean linens, a couple chairs, a table, shelves, a desk. Close enough to walk along a well-lit path to the nice tile showers with hot water. I would definitely stay here again.

Our family absolutely loved this area! Great location! The camp was very well maintained and thought out. You can feel the love they have put into this property. The cabins were great and had everything we needed for our family of four. The kids (4&8) loved seeing the wild quail coveys, the star gazing nets and the sunset swing! The owners and camp host were very kind with wonderful communication. Both taking extra time to answer my questions about the land, property, buildings and a neighboring forest fire. We felt very comfortable and safe!!!

Kiley is super super quick to respond. The cabin was overall good but slightly more rustic than I had imagined. Our generator failed in the middle of the night in the second night which I think was just bad luck but meant we had no WiFi, which meant no signal at all in this area! There is cooling and a fan. It is right by Sequoia and King’s Canyon parks, but the drive from Three Rivers to the cabin ends up taking about 25 minutes extra. My one thing to improve- the towels were really nice but the bedsheets were polyester which I really hate, and made it super sweaty given the heat! We stayed here for our mini-moon and overall had a memorable and peaceful experience! The campground has a charming, rustic vibe and is tucked away in nature. It is the perfect for a quiet getaway. Wildlife is definitely active here! A bat managed to find its way into our cabin! Fortunately, the staff was very accommodating and were able to move us to a different cabin that was bat-free. Sunset Point is absolutely gorgeous, and the swing overlooking the view was chef’s kiss. The cabins are cozy, but just a heads-up: there’s no air conditioning. Even with all the windows open, it got pretty warm inside. Thankfully, there was a fan in the cabin, and we brought an extra one from home which helped a lot. One suggestion for future stays, I wish the cabin patios had lounge chairs. It would have been nice to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings more comfortably. I’ll definitely be packing a couple of my own next time!

We love the cabin. Small but there was plenty of room. Has its own bathroom with shower. Sleeps 4 adults comfortably. Love how beautiful, isolated and quiet it was. We used the fire pit to cook our dinner. Will definitely be going back. Host was friendly and very helpful.

We loved our two day stay in Kiley’s mini cabin. It had everything we needed while we were visiting Sequoia National Park. We used the kitchenette and the grill. Kiley was super responsive and answered all our questions. I will just say that the 25 minute road from Three Rivers to the cabin was daunting and very curvy and tight.

Kiley is genuinely the nicest person that couldn’t do enough for us and our comfort. The sight is cute and romantic. Communicate well in advance about directions, the drive up is challenging but be patient and you’ll be rewarded. The cabin has WiFi and a heat pump to counter the high day-temperatures. The shower and toilet were new with very clean towels. Bedding was comfy and very clean, bring your own bedding. We had our own sleeping bags. Our dogs loved it and the site is scenic and breathtaking. I admire and respect Kileys efforts to make our off grid stay a grand one.

Located in a beautiful mountain landscape, this little cabin along with 2 others is off the beaten path surrounded by tranquility. The cabins are tidy and have what you need for a night or more. This is remote so they rely on solar and a generator to keep the lights on and the water warm. Kylie is an amazing host very kind and friendly. We met one of the dogs Herbert, who is the sweetest!

Gorgeous in the springtime! We came to get away for a night, and it was just what we needed. We enjoyed the fire pit, the Cozy, visiting with the horses, and a walk around the property’s hill the next day. Loved the wildflowers in the spring!

We had such a memorable time at Kiley’s cabin! It was cozy and very clean. The views are incredible from the deck. The directions she gave us were perfect, we had no trouble finding the place. I would absolutely rent this cabin again. The only negative is that the wifi was really patchy, so bring a hotspot if you need internet.

Kings Canyon National Park is absolutely stunning! The towering granite cliffs, deep canyons, and peaceful forest trails make it a true hidden gem of California. The park feels less crowded than some other national parks, which makes it easy to really soak in the natural beauty and wildlife. We especially loved the scenic drives and the incredible views around Grant Grove and Zumwalt Meadow.

A spectacular National Park, we booked to stay a Sherp Creek Campground in our RV, it was so good we decided to stay a second night, however there is no cell phone service so to get online to rebook you have to drive back out of the park to the visitor centre for WiFi. But it was definitely worth it as we saw a Mother Bear and her two cubs the second night, as they wandered through the campground.

Wonderful campsites at the sunset campground. Absolutely gorgeous views of stars while lying in my tent. Great camp hosts. Only a 2-3 minute drive from Grant Grove village with a camp store with anything you could ever need while camping. Only a 15 minute walk from the Legendary General Grant Tree. If you stay in sunset campground make sure to take a walk to see such an enormous tree.
