You will LOVE IT! Been coming to this magical part of the San bernardino mountains since I was a little girl. I learned to ski here when there was an old ski hill and tow ropes! Lots of mountain trails to hit! My Father and Grandfather both spent time here and nothing has changed! We just recently remodeled our little slice of heaven! It is single story with all open beam ceilings, wood floors throughout and hiking right out the door to miles and miles of trails! Stunning sunsets, a cute town with lots of live music. I loved loved loved my stay. I was expecting to share the cabin with others, but got lucky and had it all to myself. The cabin was clean and cozy with a nice mattress. I didn't use the AC at all just slept with the windows open. I had an an amazing view of the night sky. The grounds are large but everyone staying there was clean and quiet. The only suggestion that I can think of is adding curtains to each bunk to give some privacy and block out light. Wish I could have stayed longer!

We had a wonderful experience at Serena’s camp. Directions were helpful and Serina was communicative. The cabin was as described with a wonderful bathroom. Great place, peaceful, beautiful, well maintained, and clean none toxic cookware! Haha I know that’s a funny thing to be excited about but as a cook I love stainless steel and all were stainless steel, also master bed and pillows very comfortable, Tempur-Pedic I believe. Lots of stairs, so just be aware we brought our elder dog and was a little tricky for him to navigate; but other than that, host replied quickly to all questions and highly recommended!

SOOO beautiful. I loved it. if you get the chance definitely go into the park during sunset because the views are breathtaking!! its definitely a quick visit type of national park though. we did about 4 hikes, and as they were all beautiful, they were all pretty similar so I would say 1-2 days or even just a pop in drive through here is a perfect amount of time to stay at Joshua Tree!

Nice quiet campsites with a view. Stayed with friends in two adjacent sites. Ours was a bit uneven but there was a flat place where we could pitch our tent. The other site had a lot more flat space.

Unique Geology
First park we have visited that was in a desert environment. Lots of unique geology to see, which can be viewed by hiking or car. Park rangers were at various locations, even though they were not being paid due to the government shutdown. Park and roads were clean and in good condition. Glad we visited Joshua Tree NP.

Joshua Tree was an incredible experience! There was so much to see and do. I spent about two days here, exploring the area for about 8 hours. I absolutely loved just driving around and taking in the stunning views. Skull Rock was one of my favorites, especially because of all the unique rock formations to discover. It was easy to climb because the rock was super textured and my shoes gripped it easily. There were so many nooks and crannies to explore, it was a blast! FYI, this spot gets a lot of traffic, so it’s best to arrive early. Also, there are no bathrooms at Skull Rock, but there’s another stop just past with restrooms. I would definitely say this was my highlight of my trip.
