Loved the layout— everything was readily available and open to use! The outdoor shower and the games (ladder golf, darts, horse shoes etc) were perfect! Loved that I can use the sink to clean our dishes

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful two nights in Aidan's van! The spot provided a super easy way to get to the park - easily within reach of both the 29 Palms and Joshua Tree entrances but far enough out of town to get a nice night sky and quiet surroundings at night.
We loved camp - it had a nice communal hang out spot, an amazing outdoor shower, a solid compost toilet, and our van was sweet. Unfortunately it was 90+ degrees both days we were there, so it was definitely hot in the van, but definitely not unmanageable. The bed is a little short so tall people's feet will hang off, but it wasn't a big deal for us. Love that the camp is so sustainable - our van's solar charger provided more power than we could ever use!

Aidan has an awesome set up and was a fantastic host! We stayed in his old Van, Ace Vandura and felt right at home. We enjoyed ourselves so much that at the last minute we decided to extend our stay and he was super accommodating. If you’re looking for a fun way to enjoy van life camping, look no further; I hope to see Van Camp expand to other locations and would book with him here again, or at any other locations, in a heartbeat.

great to camp close to JT national park.
Outdoor shower had instahot water, outdoor kitchen and compost toilet clean and functional.

Aidan is a great host with a wonderful setup to try out van camping. The fire pit at night was perfect. The compost toilet was clean and kept up. Location is close to Joshua tree. I will definitely be back.

Loved Van Camp! Such a fun atmosphere, and community vibe. I was able to celebrate St. Patrick's Day with fellow van life/campers.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful! Unfortunately it was very windy during our stay so we didn't get to try out too many of the amenities. We had a great view of the mountains from our spot. The outhouse was well maintained, there was easily accessible potable water and the heated outdoor shower was amazing with the cold winds we had. I would recommend!

Aidan was an incredibly thoughtful host and has built an impressive comminity space for van life near Joshua Tree. An amazing amount of amenities here. His old van was comfortable and we slept like babies. Thanks Aidan.

Great experience. Both Joshua Tree NP entrances were 15 mins away. Outdoor shower was nice and water was hot and conpost toilet/outhouse was clean. Host was friendly. Would stay again if we are back in the area.

Aidan has created a great desert campground with lots of amenities...I'm self-contained so I didn't need to use the camp kitchen or the composting toilet, but I did appreciate being able to dump my greywater tank! It's not particularly private, but it's a perfect spot to stop if you're crossing the desert or stopping to play in Joshua Tree. Will definitely stop here again if I'm in the vicinity. Thanks Aidan!!

We loved camping in Aidan's van. He told us it was his first home and he is there for anything we need. Maybe 15 minutes from Joshua Tree National Park. We stopped in for a quick overnight trip coming from San Diego and had dinner in Palm Springs. Couldn't recommend it more!

My trip to Joshua Tree was exceptional thanks to Aidan and Savannah! Staying at their campground and in the vintage van was an awesome experience. The van was cozy and quiet. Exactly what I needed on this getaway! The bathroom and communal kitchen was a short walk away. The campground really had everything I needed. What a great way to experience the desert.

Staying at Van life campground was a treat! It’s clean, has beautiful views, a lovely shower and great little kitchen all outdoors. Aiden is super friendly and helpful. It’s a hip place with high vibe! Warmly recommend it!

We had a great stay here and enjoyed the beautiful starry nights. Plenty of space. Adequate facilities. Aidan is a friendly host and was communicative. We couldn’t get into Joshua tree so this was a good alternative.

We really enjoyed staying on Aidan’s site! Friendly host & campers. Our dog played with neighborhood dogs all week. The outdoor shower was amazing as well.

It was great living the Van-life! We camped in a tent, there was plenty of open space. Two picnic tables gave us a good eating area, and a nice place to carve pumpkins! (It was almost Halloween) We didn't have time, but there was a ton of game stuff (darts, corn hole) out and around the eating area. Kitchen area was fun to use, outdoor shower was nice, and the bathroom was clean. Host was helpful when we had questions and we enjoyed petting the black cat who roamed the campground!

What an incredible campsite! Aidan is an awesome host and has built something really special for us travelers. The 360 Mountain views and sunsets are beautiful. That outdoor shower....dang. One of the highlights of the property. You can’t beat a hot shower with views like that. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy this slice of heaven again. Thank you for having us!

Shower was amazing! Night sky amazing! First compost toilet experience was satisfying. Aidan has a great site and work in progress. Outdoor kitchen has what you need. Remember, its the desert and can get hot and windy. Warning for tent campers; ground is a bit rocky so make sure to have a bed pad. We'll be back nexr time theough. Thanks Aidan.

We stayed at Aiden’s for 2 nights. It was very comfortable, and the amenities were great! Everything was clean, the shower had hot water, and it was nice and peaceful. We enjoyed the view of the stars at night. Great value for the price!

This was a great place to stay in our sprinter van! Each campsite is super level and really spacious, and the evenings were perfect for stargazing and hanging out. The property is set up really well with a cool outdoor shower and kitchen area for easy dish washing. We recommend!!
