STRONG WINDS The winds in the desert are very strong between February and June which may limit your enjoyment of the outdoor amenities. We do all we can to navigate around the winds but cannot control the impact it may have on your stay. POWER OUTAGES The power is cut off for 8-12 hours at least twice a year by the electrical company in order for maintenance to be done (for instance in preparation for the fire seasons). We inform our guests of outages as soon as we are made aware but cannot control the time or manner in which this may impact your stay. Both bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, body wash, and conditioner so you don't have to worry about a thing so you can freshen up after a day at the beach on the lake or slopes alike. Don't worry about a baby sitter, bring the entire fam we have a pack and play, baby gate, and high chair available. Two dedicated workspaces are available with large monitors to plug in a laptop (cables provided) and remote workers are welcomed and encourage to spend their workdays overlooking the forest. The house is equipped with ultra fast wifi and you can even take meetings out in the fresh air on the deck! Guests have access to both floors, indoor space and deck of the tree house. There is a keypad on the front door for easy self check-in and check-out. We will send you a unique access code before you arrive. Feel free to bring your furry friends along, under 55lbs. doggie's are welcome, with prior approval, message me for details. Not on furniture please :) The driveway is on a slight incline and can fit up to 4 parked cars (a rarity in the mountains). Please do your best to squeeze in and avoid street parking. We booked the Little Blue Cabin as a last minute getaway and didn’t realize it would be snowing there, which turned out to be the best surprise! The entire town of Green Valley Lake was so pretty with fresh snow and the cabin kept us so cozy despite being low 30s outside. Also, the host was absolutely amazing - he messaged me with snow updates and chain requirements to make sure we were equipped to make the drive out there. The cabin had everything we needed and more. It was an absolutely wonderful stay, and I’m so glad our dog got to experience snow!

Angel's Nest is a gem - especially at the price! It's a beautiful mountain cabin that has family entertainment in mind. We played shuffleboard all afternoon and switched it up with the arcade machine and basketball; the kids had a blast! Really lovely kitchen, bedrooms and living areas as well! Great for a family mountain getaway. Only warning is: there are lots of stairs and a very steep driveway. Keep that in mind when if that's an issue for you. Martin was also very responsive and hospitable! We will definitely be back!

Haha I know that’s a funny thing to be excited about but as a cook I love stainless steel and all were stainless steel, also master bed and pillows very comfortable, Tempur-Pedic I believe. Lots of stairs, so just be aware we brought our elder dog and was a little tricky for him to navigate; but other than that, host replied quickly to all questions and highly recommended!

The cabin is so cute and easy to find/access! It was less than a 5 minute drive from the lake and there were lots of trails nearby. The trails were a bit tricky to navigate with little signage so we didn't venture too far but the views were still great. I would recommend bringing essentials (shampoo, body wash, coffee) but the cabin had pots, pans, toaster, dishes, etc. I would definitely recommend this cabin for a relaxing slow paced weekend away!

Also known as "Old Greyback," San Gorgonio and the 11 surrounding peaks over 10,000 feet are home to an extremely rare herd of bighorn sheep. The headwaters of the Santa Ana and Mojave rivers offer premier wild trout streams such as Bear Creek, accessible only by foot. We do ask guests to pay an added fee of $5 per pup per day. Propane stoves are OK, and we have a natural-gas BBQ grill available for use. Outdoor wood fires and/or lighter fluid are never allowed. There is easy parking for any number of cars. RVs and trailers are no problem either. Total charges will depend of the number of guests and vehicles. Cell phones on Verizon and Sprint will have coverage. The AT&T and T-Mobile networks still do not cover this area, however the wifi near our home enables calls/texts on most phones. The public bus stop is a short walk. Surprisingly, it is possible to take public transit from any train station in SoCal all the way to our bus stop (and vice versa). Cheaper than driving, and no worries about weather. Ask us for details. If you're bringing kids, let us know the ages.
