This is Glamping at its best! We have two cabins that have kitchens with mini frig, microwaves and sinks. Complimentary coffee and tea as well. Very comfortable queen beds. Each cabin has a living room and table area along with gas fireplaces inside and A/C. Outdoor courtyard area with firepit, picnic tables and string lights to enjoy the days or evenings.
Each cabin sleeps two but both can be rented to sleep four. Both cabins are historic to the area.
All of this is in the center of the Santa Ynez valley close to Los Olivos , Santa Ynez and Solvang.
Wine tasting, bike riding and hiking. Great restaurants and wineries within walking distance.

I really love the little bunk house...this was my second time staying there. It is very convenient to Los Olivos village and quiet...It really is best for just one person unless you are a couple that are used to camping and being very close.

It's a really charming little cottage with a comfy single bed with a trundle. Loved the decor with an deer antler rack hanging on the wall, cow hide table covering and lovely lamps, etc. It's rustic for sure but was a great very affordable option right around the corner from the amazing Bob's Well Bread.

Cabin 2 was very charming, clean, and peaceful. The instructions were clear and easy. The location was perfect! A short 5-10 minute drive to Solvang and Los Olivos. I would stay here again. 👍🏼

My son and I have stayed in the bunkhouse multiple times and have always felt so welcome! It is just the right size for us and Lisa is always so attentive and kind. The backyard is truly a beautiful location and so peaceful to wake up in. If you are looking for a simple and cozy place to stay near all of the action this is truly the place! PS - aspen is the sweetest little dog :)

I stayed at the bunkhouse- it was so cute! Very cozy and so peaceful. The outdoor space was beautiful. Word to the wise, try to arrive before dark (unlike me). You’ll be able to see the pathways much better.

Weekend Trip to Lisa S.’s Land
This is a good value and a fun experience as long as you understand what you’re getting. The place is compact, the bed a twin (unless you set up the trundle) and the door is more like a gate, but it’s cozy and comes with more thoughtful amenities than we expected. Plus, the yard offers a nice place to pico or sit the fire. We would happily stay here again.

It was good for a night with my small kid and old chihuahua in tow. Could make it work with two adults. Property is beautiful and so convenient. People who are upset about bugs, etc., probably should have more reasonable expectations — it’s not a tiny house, it’s an old cabin. There isn’t much of any privacy in this location. The wine cottages next door looked like they did and we will try those next time when my husband can come with us.

This place was sweet! Lovely piece of land with multiple units, 5-10 mins from Los Olivos, wine tasting, and everything that sweet little area has to offer. It is a small, no frills place (if you are a "fancy" person probably wouldn't recommend..), but it was clean and comfortable and got the job done for 1 night at a fraction of the price of anywhere else in the area!!!!

Weekend Trip to Lisa S.’s Land
We loved our little staycation without kids and I was pleasantly surprised as how much bigger cabin 1 was compared to pictures.
We started our trip spending time in Los Olivos. We walked to Bobs Well Bread in the morning and took yoga at Old Oak Meadow yoga 5 minutes away. It was a great central location for everything we wanted to do. I didn’t use the little sound machine that was provided but very much appreciated it was there since I’m a light sleeper.
We would love to return someday!

The property was beautiful and located just off the main road. Although the lock to the cottage was a minimal (sliding “latch”) , we had felt safe to leave our luggage behind. The best part of the trip was being greeted by a little brown dog named Aspen.

What a fantastic find!! Perfect place to stay while exploring wine country. The cottage was super cute, cozy and well appointed with amenities. Outdoors had serval seating options with a tranquil fountain for a chill vibe. Close to great restaurants and a fantastic bakery around the corner. I look forward to coming back and have already recommended Lisa’s place. Enjoy your stay!!

I went on a day trip with two of my friends and we all loved it. We spent the morning kayaking and exploring sea caves. We saw so much wildlife in just a short amount of time. Need to go back!

Camped at Del Norte campground 1 night. Such an underrated park, and one of my best experiences at national parks. Stunning views and solitude.
About the campground: the trail uphill is rough. Little shade and you're carrying your water. But it doesn't take the whole day and you get time to enjoy the place up there.

An amazing experience, but read all the website so you understand what is involved. A wallk from the boat to the campground feels like a slog with all the provisions. But night skies are gorgeous, and the hiking and kayaking were great. Totally worth it.

See island fox!
There are a few islands to choose from, we visited the Santa Cruz Island. You take the Island Packers ferry to and from the island. Once you arrive, you walk from the pier to the mainland where there are benches and picnic tables to eat. You can walk and hike around at your leisure. We went for a day trip, so make sure to bring a watch to keep track of time so you can make it to the ferry before departure. They also have camping options too. Its pretty limited as far as hiking and activities goes, but it was a cool experience and we’d visit another one of the islands. You can see cute island fox running around and on the picnic tables. Leave no trace so the fox don’t get to it!

Anacapa Island
Had a wonderful day on Anacapa Island. The views were beautiful but the birds were loud.
The ride over to the island we enjoyed so many dolphins, whales and birds. It was a perfect trip.

So magical! We will definitely be back to overnight camp here! Recommend spring or fall over a winter visit. We saw Dahls porpoises, a humpback whale taking a kelp bath, channel island foxes and scrub jays. Epic.

Channel Islands - Santa Cruz Island
We stayed in Oxnard and took the boat out to the Channel Islands, specifically Santa Cruz Island. The ride over was beautiful and once there we explored the island with our grandkids. The paths were easy to follow and the views were spectacular! We want to go back and visit the other islands that are part of the Channel Islands.
