Vintage 1937 Cabin w/Hot Tub
Beautiful cabin with everything we needed! Loved exploring the creek and nearby waterfall. Hot tub was great too! Plenty of bedding and cooking supplies. Feels more like a well stocked air b&b than a camping or even glamping experience which was perfect for what we needed. Overall a peaceful and serene experience thank you <3

A great place to go if you want to get away without totally unplugging. Jami was very thoughtful in making sure that everything was provided. I came with 8 people, and there was enough room to comfortably fit everyone without too much running into each other. The beds were great, and extra blankets were provided just in case. There was also a washer and dryer, which I wasn't expecting. There's only one bathroom, so there was a little maneuvering with that. The Wi-Fi worked great, even with all of us connected. There is a heater but no AC, although the ceiling fans, along with opening the windows, really helped with the heat. Not to mention, it was cooler outside.
The only problem was the bugs, like mosquitoes, since we were here in the summer. There's a stream about a 2-minute walk from the cabin, and I'm pretty sure I could hear it even from inside. There's also a bigger waterfall that was about a 20-minute walk/hike. The area was absolutely beautiful—trees everywhere. You could see squirrels running around, birds in the morning, and at night it was so peaceful and quiet.

The cabin was lovely and the surroundings breathtaking. Loved the hottub, the creek and the squirrels. We played games, took walks, watched movies (there is an extensive collection of dvd's and a dvd player) and read books.
Jami was amazing, very responsive and ready to answer any questions we had.
This is a quirky and very sweet cabin, which does mean that sometimes you need to improvise and not be bothered by small inconveniences, such as blunt knives. We were not, it added to its charm.

Vintage 1937 Cabin w/Hot Tub
We loved the cabin! We stayed at her other property last year and decided to try this one and it did not disappoint. Spacious enough for our fam of four but still super cozy with lovely rustic detailing (and a great fireplace). We will be back.

Overall a good experience. I would not recommend staying in the summer, as the cabins (understandably) don’t have AC. I imagine a winter stay would be amazing. The fan above the master bedroom bed made a clicking sound so I had to turn it off, which made for a very hot evening.

We have rented from Jamie the host but at a different cabin. First off Jamie is very professional and quick to respond when there’s an issue the two cabins that we’ve stayed at have been very unique and woodsy. We’ve been very happy with all of our stays. Nothing much to complain about. The beds are comfortable, and the location is ideal for us.
Fair warning, it is still camping though. The kitchens are bare bones with dishes and cooking utensils. I suggest that you bring everything with you when you come.

Easy check in. Got everything you need in this house if you want to cook. There’s no television if you’re asking. Hot tub takes a while to heat up but a plus points for this cabin. We’re able to charcoal grill and go on a hike by the creek. Didn’t get lost going there using Waze app. There’s a wifi and a phone to use for mobile hotspot if you plan on stepping out of the cabin. Great way to relax and unwind with nature. 3 days and nights isn’t enough. Host was super accommodating and you’re able to text her anytime. We’ll definitely come back on a winter for snow.

Staying here was awesome ! The cabin is so beautiful and so is the nature surrounding it. Jami was very nice and a great host and the cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Also the people in town working at the store were super great :) definitely recommend checking out forest falls and staying here !

We love staying at Jamis Cabin. We had an awesome time! She was very helpful and responsive. Her cabin, was so cozy. Also, the hot tub with the river view was everything we dream of!
Waking up with the sound of the river and birds was something i Would never forget! ❤️
The Grill, bonfire, hot tub, the amazing view, the smell of wood, and having a private place for you and loved ones was definitely my best experience! Also, she has a speaker and a wifi!
I would definitely be back!
I cant wait to make plans and be back to this amazing cabin!

Creekside 1939 Cabin w/Hot Tub
Beautiful cabin right next to the creek! The cabin was so quaint, built in 1937, with a large deck. It has an open floor plan, with the bed in the family room and an upstairs loft. It’s the perfect way to unwind from normal life and be together as a family. The hot tub warmed up fast and was enjoyed daily! The host, Jami, was very helpful and responsive. We can’t wait to come back when the weather is warmer and we can fully enjoy the creek!

Creekside 1939 Cabin w/Hot Tub
This is a special place. Cabin is right on a rushing creek and short walk to the waterfall. Plenty of exploring to do from right there. We enjoyed the coziness of the cabin, the hot tub, BBQ, fire, outdoor shower, and the outdoor fire. Come here, watch the leaves fall and breathe the fresh mountain air! So much relaxation and a short drive from LA and SD.

Our family loved our stay - the house was perfect for creekside hiking, cozying up by the fire, and enjoying the sights and sound of nature. Completely relaxing despite being with two crazy toddlers. Can’t wait to return.

Beautiful and cozy cabin. Wish the shower head was higher I’m 6 feet tall and had to bend down to get my head wet lol. Had some issues with internet but Jami fixed very quickly. I don’t think anything can be done about the mosquito problem(I got bit over 100 times) but maybe a few electric zappers or a screen on the front door would help. All in all amazing place and will come back for sure.

This is a very beautiful cabin! Has a lot of space and is well taken cared of. It has everything we needed and Jami is very responsive. We will be back for the winter times which I bet would be much more beautiful.

Jami’s cabin was great. Plenty of space for a family of 4. And kitchen had everything we needed to make bfast and dinner. Nestled amongst trees and right next to the river. We walked to the waterfall from the cabin and even walked to town both days to dinner and then to the town chili cook off. Up hill climb! Kids could have played for days in the river despite the chilly temp! Quaint little town and lovely little cabin. Only 1.5 hours from Long Beach which is nice as we hit no traffic either way despite holiday weekend. Would return!

The cabin was super cute and exactly what we were looking for. We stayed super warm with the heating units in the living room and the bedroom, as well as wood fire stoves in both rooms. The cabin was well stocked (dishes, mugs, pots and pans, linens), had lots of interesting antique collectibles, and a beautiful stained glass window in the bedroom. If you follow the creek upstream, there is a trail with several waterfalls less than a mile away. It does involve quite a bit of rock scrambling, but it was super worth it. There is a lovely sun room across the entire back of the cabin which I’m sure would be a really nice space when it’s warmer. I couldn’t quite figure out how to get the barbecue lit, wasn’t sure where the flame needed to be placed to ignite the whole thing even though I could hear the gas. The cabin escape left us dreaming we had our own someday so we could do this more often. The only thing we would change is the bed frame made from raw branches has points sticking out on both sides that are hip/thigh level that we both repeatedly walked into and may have bruises.

Beautiful spot within walking distance of the Big Falls trail and within earshot of the creek. The cabin was very cozy and had a lot of character. My partner and I loved staying here!
