There is a keypad on the front door for easy self check-in and check-out. We will send you a unique access code before you arrive. Feel free to bring your furry friends along, under 55lbs. doggie's are welcome, with prior approval, message me for details. Not on furniture please :) The driveway is on a slight incline and can fit up to 4 parked cars (a rarity in the mountains). Please do your best to squeeze in and avoid street parking. Guests must be able to navigate going up and down stairs to access this home. Unfortunately it is not ADA accessible. - We want you to have fun but please be mindful of the neighbors & avoid loud noise or external speakers outdoors. We booked the Little Blue Cabin as a last minute getaway and didn’t realize it would be snowing there, which turned out to be the best surprise! The entire town of Green Valley Lake was so pretty with fresh snow and the cabin kept us so cozy despite being low 30s outside. Also, the host was absolutely amazing - he messaged me with snow updates and chain requirements to make sure we were equipped to make the drive out there. The cabin had everything we needed and more. It was an absolutely wonderful stay, and I’m so glad our dog got to experience snow!

Angel's Nest is a gem - especially at the price! It's a beautiful mountain cabin that has family entertainment in mind. We played shuffleboard all afternoon and switched it up with the arcade machine and basketball; the kids had a blast! Really lovely kitchen, bedrooms and living areas as well! Great for a family mountain getaway. Only warning is: there are lots of stairs and a very steep driveway. Keep that in mind when if that's an issue for you. Martin was also very responsive and hospitable! We will definitely be back!

Great place, peaceful, beautiful, well maintained, and clean none toxic cookware! Haha I know that’s a funny thing to be excited about but as a cook I love stainless steel and all were stainless steel, also master bed and pillows very comfortable, Tempur-Pedic I believe. Lots of stairs, so just be aware we brought our elder dog and was a little tricky for him to navigate; but other than that, host replied quickly to all questions and highly recommended!

Great place to stay and so close to Lake Gregory! My family and I walked there and the scenery as we walked was amazing. We enjoyed board games at night as well as the TV. Upstairs had an amazing studio styled home with a wonderful array of vinyls to listen to! The Sky Bear Cabin was also very cozy, there was a loft where you can bask in the sun.

The cabin is so cute and easy to find/access! It was less than a 5 minute drive from the lake and there were lots of trails nearby. The trails were a bit tricky to navigate with little signage so we didn't venture too far but the views were still great. I would recommend bringing essentials (shampoo, body wash, coffee) but the cabin had pots, pans, toaster, dishes, etc. I would definitely recommend this cabin for a relaxing slow paced weekend away!

The Nook is truly a special place. It is tucked away in the woods, and on the quietest road you can imagine. I don't think I saw a car driving by the while time we were there so if you are looking for true peace and quiet, this is it! The property itself has so many amenities, like a fully stocked kitchen, painting nook, tons of boardgames and books. It also has a TV for cozy movie nights! The bedrooms were SO cozy too and the bathroom even had a jetted tub!! We were so sad to leave the Nook, and are already planning our trip back. Thank you again, Abby!

This home is beautiful, full of light, and well-appointed. The steep stairs and driveway are no joke, so I wouldn’t recommend it for very young children. The bunk beds and third floor game room were huge hits. The jack-and-jill bathroom connecting the main bedroom with the kids room provided both privacy and peace of mind. The main bed is also amongst the most comfortable I’ve slept on.

Great place! The game room was an added bonus. You can hours of fun there alone, and the video game has other 80s hits besides Joust. We were planning on going to Arrowhead during our stay but spent all our time in Crestline and Lake Gregory, which is just a few minutes away. Thanks for a fun stay!

This property is very unique. It’s rustic but has so much charm. The trees, the wild life and the never ending wonderful quiet. We were 6 women 60s and 70s we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Gallery. Tracey and Pete, not only magnificent custodians of a site with such historical interest, they are the hosts we all wish to meet! If you feel like you need to unplug or unwind head out to this place, you won’t be disappointed. There are many nooks and cranny’s inside and out to sit and be quiet, or just talking. Something to enjoy!

Weekend Trip to Storybook Nook- secluded cabin!
Lydia's little cabin really does feel like escaping into a cute, cozy fairytale in the woods. I loved all the little details in the furnishings and the natural wood everywhere inside was gorgeous. Perfect for a little retreat away. The room upstairs is a little cramped for taller individuals, but we managed just fine! Also, the upstairs can get a little toasty in the afternoons, but even during a heat advisory we did ok - the downstairs space stayed plenty comfortable with the small AC unit - and the upstairs cooled down very pleasantly in the evening with the windows open. Lots of birds (Seller's Jays, nuthatches, brown creepers, juncos and chickadees), squirrels and chipmunks to watch comfortably from the shaded bench outside. While there are a couple neighbors somewhat close by, it feels very private and quiet with how wooded the area is and being located off a private road. We had an exceptional time just lounging. I highly recommend Lydia's Storybook Nook if you're looking for a little magic and whimsy in your getaway. ;)

"What an amazing house! Our family had so much fun, relaxing in this beautiful home so close to Green Valley Lake. The decks overlooks the beautiful mountains and hillside and is less than 1 minute drive to the lake. The village of Green Valley Lake is sleepy and cute, especially mid-week. This cabin is a great place to go and get a reset from the noise and bustle of city life. We loved playing board games, paddling on the lake, grilling on the balcony and looking at the stars. The cabin is clean and comfy, with nice beds, linen, and towels. Would love to return!
