We're on 7 acres of land (all accomodations are on ~2 acres of the land) in a very rural town but please note, we do have neighbors on both sides- one of which have cows, roosters and horses. We have 3 glamping tents and 1 tiny cabin on-site (all of which are available for booking) along with a few shared spaces amongst guests: 2 covered grilling areas, a centralized fire pit and an indoor bathhouse. We are currently in the process of adding 2 more accommodations, a silo and a cave, that will be available by Summer 2024. Each glamping tent and cabin is about 30 yards apart from one another. We provide all linens and towels for guests, AC/Heater units and hot/cold water year-round. We're located at the border of Utah and Arizona in Cane Beds, AZ. It's a very isolated area with 2-3 dining options and a large full-sized grocery store (Bee's Marketplace) less than 10 minutes away! Cane Beds, Arizona has beautiful sandstone formations & attractions such as nearby Water Canyon Trailhead, Gooseberry Mesa and Maxwell Park. The terrain is very similar to Zion National Park. This region is especially known for hiking, mountain biking and ATV trails. We're also conveniently located 40 min from Kanab, which is a town full of trails and hikes with a ton of great stops on the way (Paria Townsite, The Toadstools, Wirepass to Buckskin Gulch, The Wave, Grand Staircase Escalante). Rest up in peace and quiet in this leafy, shady garden spot. Our place is an oasis in the desert and is admired by all visitors as the most lush, cool spot in Cane Beds. The surrounding vermillion cliffs match the adobe walls of this charming cottage. This unique cottage is a rare example of an earth dwelling. Built about 30 years ago with adobe red clay, sand and straw, it is modernized and recently renovated. You will see two examples of the application of the adobe method in this building. If you have pets you must add them under EXTRAS. We have it listed under EXPERIENCES and we charge $25 cleaning fee per visit. The way Hipcamp has us do this is not very well done, it's a bit clunky. But Just select one pet if you are staying shorter than a month, two pets if a month or longer. It is not a fee per pet, or per guest, it is per visit. So if you have two pets and are staying a week then select for only one pet. Just let us know how many pets (and what kind) to expect. Message us with any questions. Dogs will have to be on leash when outside since we have a number of cats and even though your dog may not chase them, the cats would certainly be a bit freaked out. Also it's possible that your pet could get out onto the road which has claimed several of my kitties. Please know if your dog will be OK watching the kitties through the windows or when outside. We are within reach of several National Parks and other scenic sights for a day trip, including North Rim Grand Canyon, ZION, Bryce, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State park, Pipe Spring National Monument, Grand Staircase Escalante National Reserve and on and on. All around is breathtaking beauty and many easy hikes and mind-blowing vistas just in the neighborhood! Just to note, there is only 1 bedroom with a queen bed. With notice we can bring in a camp bed, or you can set up your tent on the lawn for extra guests or children.

Everything was also very well organized, making it easy to settle in and enjoy the space without any stress. You can really tell that a lot of care goes into maintaining the property. I just wish we could’ve stayed more than one night to fully enjoy all the amenities, but we’re already hoping to come back again soon.

We went as a group of 4 and our dogs , it was a wonderful time, the tiny house was so cute and wonderfully decorated. Becky was super sweet and Micheal was a wonderful neighbor to encounter and have deep worldly conversations, he also gave us really good recommendations of places and routes to take in the area. We loved it and will come back again soon. The Tarzan theme was soo cute and you can see the love and attention to detail that Becky put into the place. I wish we had stayed longer instead of just passing thru. We miss it already!!!

The cowboy cabin was a great way to get a good night sleep after spending several nights in a tent and doing a good bit of hiking everyday. It was very clean and conveniently located near the bathhouse. The bathhouse was very clean and the showers were nice and hot! I would spend a night in the cowboy cabin again for sure!

We loved staying at Gateway. We are in Casita 7 and it was beautiful and very clean. The modern, airy vibes are fantastic. The kids love the hot tub and the pool (even thought it was super windy). We didn't get to take advantage of the cornhole or pickleball, but we will the next time we stay. We'll definitely be back and we'll be bringing more family members with us.

The drive to this place is just wonderful! Easy check in with clear instructions. Bathrooms are super clean! Cute little outdoor community space that's next to the game room. We only stayed a night but wished it was for 2. We played card games and watched a movie then passed out! The night sky was starry with a bit of clouds and the full moon lighting up the night! Loved this place!

Cute little cabin.. every necessity was provided all needed to bring was food and drinks. Location was very comfortable, quiet and peaceful.. was warmly welcomed by Becky and had great conversations with Michael.. My girls were so excited when Maude took us to see and feed the goats, a horse, chickens and bunnies.. Definitely would recommend and will return.

An insane park. I honestly loved the shuttle situation everything went very smooth despite it being crowded. Highly recommend renting gear and doing the narrows hike - a once in a lifetime experience!

Well-managed, much loved park.

An iconic park for a reason. It's worth dealing with the crowd to spend at least a day in the valley. The shuttle system works very well. Note that Angel's Landing now requires a permit. They're using a lottery system, so plan ahead if you're wanting to do that hike.

The internet rumors are true - it’s very crowded. Access to the park, other than the main road, is by shuttle bus. Was there during the week of spring break, and there were hundreds of people waiting for the bus. We bailed.

Zion is beautiful, don’t go on Memorial Day weekend, was lucky enough to get a wilderness backpacking permit for 4 days/3nights, but once in valley, was like Disneyland lines. Try for none holiday, midweek.

Pretty but way too many people

Zion National Park was really pretty, but I did not enjoy the amount of people there at all. I felt like I couldn’t even move because all of the walkways/trails were packed. Would recommend visiting the back side of the park where you can hike on fun trails without anybody in your way

This campsite was great! Very comfortable, secluded from the town, which made it quiet and enjoyable. Be prepared for and unpaved road coming in. It wasn’t difficult for us, but I can see how it could be for others. We tend camped for two nights, and overall the experience was great.

There is only one dog friendly walking trail. Be very careful of e-bikes here- They fly around blind corners. Be careful of the river as well and check the Cyanobacteria warnings. Dogs can get very sick.
