Our property sits on 2 acres in the heart of Las Vegas. It is one of the original homesteads of Las Vegas which we are trying to take back to a homestead. The original owners of the property played a huge hand in the building of Vegas. As we have cleaned up the property treasures of a 100 years ago have been found all over the property. On the property you will find a huge garden out front that you are welcome to pick from. We also have over 50 trees on the property you are welcome to walk around and enjoy. If you find yourself in the duck coop or the chicken coop and find an egg you are welcome to enjoy it. Feel free to enjoy the pool, bbq and outside bathroom which has a shower, and full size washer and dryers. We are a smoke/drug free site please be respectful of this rule and violators will be asked to leave without refund. Because we are a "working hobby farm" you will see some weeds and you may even see a project or two we are working on, feel free to join in but please be understanding that in order for us to improve things it will get little messy and can take time to complete. Also, please check the weather before you book, Vegas if very hot during the summer months, if your rig doesn't have AC you will not be comfortable as night temps can be easily over 100.

Meadview Arizona was founded in 1826 by Jedediah Smith on his Southwest Expedition in search for Beaver! Staying a small remote and quiet town it can feel like it would have in the Wild West.
We obtained our campground from a couple that owned it for 20 years but just weren't able to do to it what they had originally planned.. So it was essentially a blank canvas for us to create!! We are the closest town to the Grand Canyon SKYWALK, which is just 40 minutes from us. Meadview, the town we are located, is the only place to obtain Free Entree to the Lake Mead Recreational Center. Our Campground just 10 miles from Lake Mead and 17 Miles from the Colorado River. We have outstanding Lookouts, Top notch Stargazing, Gold Prospecting, Bird Watching, Fishing, Off Roading etc.
Some of the Best Desert Off-Roading through trails within the Joshua Tree National Forest, Please note you must bring your own OHV, horse, etc, there is currently no rentals available. We do have Kayaks to rent upon arrival. There is a hidden water fall in the Grapevine Wash that you can get to with a 4 wheel vehicle and you hike in about 15 minutes in. Stunning views and gorgeous natural spring and waterfall.
We are 45 minutes off the 93 Freeway
Free WIFI provided at the office!.. The town doesn't always have a powerful signal, please keep that in mind in your travels. However, if you have Verizon, it gets GREAT service!
There are three restaurants in town, all just one mile from site... The Boathouse, Anchor Smokehouse and Fishermans Landing Bar. We have a Bakery called Rosemary and Thyme that serves Delicious foods & Pastries and makes great coffees. There is also a Gas n Grub that has ice, propane etc... 5 miles away is a Family Dollar store which we lovingly call the "Mall of Meadview"

Welcoming camp experience in the Las Vegas area. Las Vegas has a lot to offer, but we have you covered with the RV spot.
We are in the NW valley with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. When the sun goes down over the Spring Mountains and Mount Charleston beautiful colors illuminate evening clouds. We are in somewhat of a rural area, so you might see bats in the evening, and bunnies in the morning. We have even seen coyote, owl, and of course lots of geese flying between golf courses in the morning during many months of the year. We are away from the city lights, so nighttime can be quite dark, but the moon can be a spectacular site in the night sky.
Red Rock Canyon is 16 miles away. Many of our guests enjoy the scenic beauty or climbing opportunities in Red Rock. Nevada's newest state park, Ice Age Fossils State Park, is just a few miles away and offers a glimpse into prehistoric time in the region. If you enjoy ziplining then check out Slotzilla at Fremont Street or on the Las Vegas strip at the LINQ.
Our Hipcamp comes equipped with water, electrical service (both 30amp and 50amp), and a sewer connection.

This property is secluded and in a remote area with limited cell service. AT&T and Verizon have limited service, other carriers do not. This property is accessible by off road vehicle only, otherwise you may park your car in parking which is 4-7 minutes away from your tent by our shuttle. Off road vehicle means a 4x4 to drive over a rocky trail.
To access your tent, you will be required to schedule the shuttle for check in. A host will drive out to meet you to take you to your tent. Must be scheduled in advance. Check in is between 3pm and 9pm only. The host does not live on property and travels for your scheduled check in time.

Purchased this land for my father who loved living on his own in stark conditions. The property literally came with a shack on it. He loved shifting for gold with one of the neighbors in the desert up the road. He has since passed and the shack was torn down due to normal wear making it unstable.Me and my wife plan to put a home on it in the future, but felt it would be nice to allow adventurous types to stay on the property for the cheap.Learn more about this land:(Directions at bottom of description)The property is up on a hill surrounded on 2 sides (W/N) by BLM land with an overlook of Lake Mead. Just 10 miles from lake access (downhill) inside Lake Mead recreational area. Also, about 9 miles from Grand Canyon West access point. The property once had a shack on it, which is now gone - some remnants remain. But, there are flat drive areas in which to park (RV ok) and/or tent camp. Property is a little rough, but the views are gorgeous! From the property you can see Lake Mead, the west wall of the Grand Canyon, and an overlook of the town of Meadview. There are other residents in the area, but are far away, but visible (it is a desert). But, the property is absolutely quiet and peaceful.There is no electric, water, or facilities - so, it is primitive (or self-contained) camping. There is a fire-ring, but you must bring your own wood. There is some limited shopping and restaurants in town (Meadview or Dolan Springs) and on the main road (Pierce Ferry). We plan to build on the property in the future, but wish to share it with others until then. Jeffry’s Farm was a very convenient location for our needs. It is under a flight path, but we found this not to be a problem. Evenings were fairly peaceful and we actually enjoyed watching the planes come in during the day. Parking area was fairly flat and easy to get in and out of. We would stay here again if in the area.

Pleasantly surprised by how well organized, secure, and clean this park was. The office staff accepts mail and packages. The entrance is staffed 24/7. Yes, it's asphalt with fairly snug sites but it's an urban park so get used to it. But there are lots of palm trees to green things up and several dog runs plus a big public dog park not 2 miles away.

If your concern is having a quiet and peaceful RV park in Vegas that also has 24/7 security, this is it. When my wife and I were there, we actually left the RV for over 24 hours while we watched the sunset in Santa Monica. Not once did I feel the need to check the security systems in place on the RV. When we came back later on (1 am) the security guard on duty stood right up and ready. A pretty safe and quiet place. The price is actually good with all hookups and being in Vegas as well. Think we paid $45 daily for out 23ft RV? Planned on staying 2 nights and we stayed 5 instead. Not bad at all.

Happy Trails is a beautiful place with. Great view of the canyon. The people that maintain the place are very cool, it’s a great little community. There is a common area to meet up with other travelers, which was a great opportunity to learn where to see sites that are not so ‘touristy’. I highly recommend. Say hi to Dave for me. 🙂

What a great spot! I can’t guarantee this place enough as a jumping off or landing pad for a Grand Canyon trip. The RV hookups are easy to find and use. The full working bathroom was an added bonus. Arrival instructions were super clear. No issues the entire stay, but the hosts were available for questions and helpful.

Leo’s land was perfect for our last night after a long two weeks of dispersed camping. There was a fire pre-made just waiting to be lit, and Leo offered us coffee and hot chocolate the following morning. Leo was easy to talk to, and gave us some great recommendations for a future trip! We had a great stay at Leo’s place. He was a wonderful host! The spot was very large, well maintained and level with easy access to all hookups. Leo had a fire pit with all of the wood for fires throughout our stay, it was a great touch.
Leo has chickens on his property and allowed our children to go over each day and help to feed and care for them, it really made the kids feel special and was such a great experience for them.
We would absolutely recommend anyone to go and stay with Leo while in Vegas.
