Private 35 acre Private Land Restoration Project surrounded by rolling hills, mountain views and open sky. The sunsets and sunrises are spectacular year round. Stars and open skies that you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere else in southern California. Just 15 minutes from Temecula wineries, 40 minutes from the alpine, artsy town of Idyllwild in the San Jacinto Mountains, and just 15 minutes from the 215 in Menifee toward Hemet. Best to visit from early autumn to lush springtime where we have great wildflower blooms. Cooperative managers Jim and Dawn host visitors who want to enjoy nature, participate in regenerative gardening all while off-setting their travel footprint. Fees go to our not for profit land restoration which includes planting trees, improving aquifers and enriching the soil. The property is a owned by a restorative co-op (turning a former illegal dump into an oasis of hope) where we invite you to participate in creative local solutions to our larger global problems. * If your group is larger than six adults, pease visit our group listings page. If your group needs special privacy and sound requirements and you'd like to reserve the entirer property, you will need to contact us directly. * Spaces are available on a first come, first serve basis. * Our visitor support pricing is $20 for the first person and $15 for all additional adults. Kids 6 - 12 are $5 per night. We don't want to charge for kids 6 and under, so do not include them in your booking. Thanks! * Campfire rings are only in common clearing, designated and permitted areas. Please check for seasonal fire restrictions.Tent site #3 can accommodate an RV, or a camper van. EcoShire Standard Tent Sites #5
Great location that’s isolated enough but also not far from food/supplies in town. Great hosts, this was our second visit, will definitely return.

Camping with views
It was a beautiful site. Jim was a great host and was very friendly. The sunset out there is gorgeous. We'll definitely be back once the temperature starts to drop down in the fall.

Amazing energy from land and people
Dawn and Jim are very nice host. The place has an amazing warm energy when we first arrived. We love our site and we appreciate all the recycling and water preservation system they have. We took a hike at the diamond valley lake near by (4 mins drive). It was a wonderful weekend. We will definitely be back.

Very Fun
Showers were clean, area was chill. It definitely was very hot during the day, and extremely cold at nights, so make sure you pack for that. Other than that, pleasant stay, private, away from main streets, definitely recommended

Hillside bluff
Owners are super nice, Someone lost their keys and I saw Jim help look for them for quite a long time. Camping area is awesome and none of the sites seemed to far away from the compost toilets but far enough away from everyone for there to be privacy. The shade for the tent makes a huge difference and having a picnic table was a plus. I camped here by myself and my dog, I’d do it again if it was just me. Paid $20 for two bundles of wood, the woman helping me didn’t know how big a bundle was, but I had enough fire wood for the night and the next morning. I’d recommend purchasing theirs, makes things a lot easier. For anyone with allergies, (it’s camping so it’s expected) but there’s a ton of the giant black ants (I’m highly allergic but managed to stay away) and there are a lot of bees (once again you’re outside so it’s expected) I wouldn’t be able to bring my kids, but just because my son has a deadly allergy and will go into anaphylaxis if stung by a bee but that makes camping hard anywhere you go.

North Cove
All I can say is WOW!! This was our first family camping trip (a couple, a big dog, and a small dog), and it was absolute perfection. It exceeded our expectations. North Cove is super secluded. There are hills around you so no one can see you, but you can walk up a little hill and see the entire Ecoshire if you want. The backdrop is a gorgeous landscape of mountains, too. North Cove has a fire pit, a BBQ, a shade, a picnic table, and a water spout that gives you well water. If you do feel like being social, it’s very quick and easy to walk down to the communal area where they have corn hole, axe throwing, archery, firewood for purchase, complimentary water, coffee, and tea, & there are sheep and chickens that walk around. And everyone is SO nice! Extra bonus is that Hemet is just 5 miles away, so you can get groceries, gas, or anything else if needed. I highly, highly recommend. We absolutely loved this site and we’ll definitely come back!
