Our property boasts year round creeks, waterfalls, swimming holes, Madrones, Oaks, Douglas firs and manzanitas. Wild horses roam the land as well as the occasional mountain lion and black bear. On the human end we have an ancient walnut grove as well as many fruit trees two small ponds all in total privacy at the very end of the road. We also have a Sauna and outdoor bathtub and shower available for use. We are out a 9 mile dirt road and a 4X4 or all wheel drive vehicle is highly recommended. Stayed here with my wife, our two small pups, and two neighbors for some quiet time after the holidays.
Space: Well equipped with everything you need for cooking, cleaning up, showers, plenty of blankets, etc. No need to bring anything. Deck is multiple levels and is surrounded by trees. Very serene and relaxing. Wifi is a little spotty, so come here to relax, not work. Tons of beds to sleep in.
Location: Minutes to Guerneville with wineries and restaurants. 10 or so minutes to Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Preserve to see some redwoods. 20 minutes to Sonoma Coast State Park for hiking and beaches.
For dog folks: Little bit of a challenge to find a potty spot since the backyard is 90% deck and very little ground, so make sure you bring poop bags to clean up.
Great stay. Cozy and tons of options for nearby adventures. Would definitely come back.

2 nights at Roseman Creek Ranch
Katie hosted me on my first solo getaway away from my young toddler, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to reconnect with myself. Katie is an extremely interesting human and an experienced host, and everything was clean, well thought out, and a pleasure to use—especially the outdoor shower where the water was deliciously hot and ferns tickled my legs. The surroundings are incredibly peaceful and the stars incredible. I spent my mornings making art at picnic table, and in the afternoons drove fifteen minutes in either direction to the charming towns of Gualala and Point Area, where I found groceries, delicious shrimp tacos, brick oven pizza, river kayaking, a public library, a used bookstore, and more. It was a truly special stay and I hope I get a chance to return. Thank you, Katie, for the restorative retreat.

Serene, beautiful dome on a west facing slope in the hills. Had a peaceful stay with my dog. Even though it was hot, Eli took care to provide fans, and it cooled down substantially at night. There’s an adorable full kitchen and clawfoot tub. The views are incredible!

What a lovely place, lovely host, lovely dog-host. Off grid, remote but close enough to the world, and the Dome itself is awesome. I could go on and use more superlatives but it's exactly what you want, just book it. we had our 10 year old, and our 2 dogs, who all truly enjoyed themselves (10 year old unplugged).

We had a great relaxing weekend, it was super hot but that didn't change anything with what this place offers. It was very peaceful, great night sky, loved the dog and the chickens. Nice trail on the property. Host Elias is kind and nice person, we had a great conversation and really appreciated his hospitality. We also took a day trip out to Mendocino. Overall great place to disconnect, and enjoy the peaceful nature.

Great stay, well off the beaten path. Eli is a warm and gracious host. We loved the peace and quiet of the dome and still having the creature comforts of home. It was also fun to go forage in the garden, hang out with the chickens, and see the wild ponies on the drive in.
A truly dog friendly place- Lulu is a very friendly girl and will love to play with your pup.

We had an amazing time camping at **El Cool Ranch Dome**! The drive there was awesome, and the place itself was fantastic—we loved the stunning views and all the great amenities. Having running water and hot showers was a huge plus! We took a peaceful walk to a nearby creek, which was so relaxing. Eli, the host, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The instructions provided were clear and covered everything we needed to know. We also visited **Muir Woods National Monument**, and it was absolutely breathtaking—a must-see! Thank you for such a wonderful experience; we can’t wait to come back soon!

Weekend Trip to EL EL Cool Ranch
We had a great time. This was a really great spot, with a fantastic view. It is pretty far out, so you need 4wd or AWD to get out there. Ideally, get there during the day bc the road in is rough and there are some guard dogs at the neighbor’s place that you have to try to not run over.
The Geodome is like a large tent. You should plan on it feeling like camping and dress and bring food to cook accordingly. It was pretty cold at night, and the fire didn’t really warm up the dome, so it’s good to just wear layers.
Elias was super helpful and nice. We came in late, and he left the gate open. He was away for the weekend, but replied to a text giving good advice on where to explore on the property.
We also got to meet Lulu, who is playful and very friendly if you have a pup of your own.

The dome was amazing! Eli Lulu, and Jess are all super nice and friendly. They have great recommendations of what to do nearby and are very accommodating. We ended up going on a little hike and hammering above the creek which was so relaxing. We went at the beginning of spring, so there wer plenty of daffodils And gorgeous tiny wild flowers everywhere. Really nice wineries nearby. The wood fire stove was also great and super cozy. The shelves are stocked with gorgeous handmade pottery. We ended up loving the mugs we used so much that we asked to buy them And ended up taking them home! Overall great trip and I ended up getting engaged there! Will be coming back!
