Originally purchased in the late 60's by "Redwood and Savatri", Oz Farm was initially a commune of sorts and is no doubt a very special place...heck, its even got it's own comic book! Here you can pick your poison, as the property is comprised of 7 rustic cabins, redwood campsites, and geodesic domes that would make Buckminster Fuller proud. The working farm is comprised of over 230 accessible acres of flowing meadows, redwood groves, prime agriculture, and is intersected by the beautiful Garcia River, which flows into the mighty pacific. One thing that is very apparent, is how clearly passionate the community at Oz Farm is about ecology and agriculture. Once you step foot onto Oz Farm, you'll begin to understand why. The property is open seasonally and frequently rented by full-camp retreats and events throughout the summer. Individual cabins open to rent one month in advance and are advertised through instagram @villageozfarm

the perfect glamp :)
Super gorgeous spot at an amazingly beautiful farm! secluded and quiet, we couldnt see any other lights besides the barn and the stars at night. close to the beach and a sweet little river swimming spot. my 2 year old loved the yurt and running around outside. watch out for poison oak! Loved it here!

Rainbow Cabin
Organic Getaway
A lush farm nestled between a river and a redwood grove. What a beautiful place to rest beside in a wood stove heated cabin as the spring rain fell. I came on assignment to photograph the property and the spaces that host Hipcampers. I arrived late and got to see the property light up under the sunrise before the clouds rolled in. I felt secluded but at the same time I knew I was minutes away from a little community that live, work, and play at this seaside farm. Everyone was friendly and asked me how my stay had been. Abby checked in before my arrival giving me all the information I could need and also came out and greeted me to chat about the history of Oz. It was a honor to capture some of that history and essence of the space and I hope I get to make it back.

Rustique and relaxing
Absolutely fell in love with the whole farm. Totally our vibe for weekend and an excellent relaxing retreat for my family. We cooked French cuisine all weekend on the enormous range and wined and dined outside for every meal! Definitely hope to make it back again.

Newbird Cabin
Nestled in the hillside
Wonderful little cabin nestled in the hillside. My parents loved it, but there are a few steps to get up to it (they counted 65!), not an issue for most people but a little slippery for them coming down. They did fine though. Definitely recommend for the slightly more adventurous among us : )
