If you are looking for man made and leveled campsites, then this is not your basecamp. This land is a gorgeous 20 acres that means a lot to us. It's space to find your peace of mind and pitch a tent or hammock, as you would when hiking the backcountry. Aside from complimentary ice water, potty, shower, soaps, sanitizer, sunscreen, first aid, communal fire pit, wood stove and dishwashing area) this is not "glamping". If you are a person who appreciates nature and making due with what the land has provided, then we are a great fit. Guests have 20 acres to find a secluded, or socially distanced spot to pitch camp. This is for people that know how to camp in the backcountry - Without a trash can, who don’t leave cigarette butts, respect the land and would rather not be sectioned off. Flat areas are all over if you explore, and use your feet to brush aside rocks and twigs, to lay down a tent base, as we do every time we camp in the backcountry. The geography of these mountains is just that, hills and mountains. The vista at the top of the property is gorgeous and easily camps 5 tents spaced out. The property does offer many other great camping areas, and I’m more than happy to point them out. Yosemite is 30 minutes away, Don Pedro lake is 30 minutes, Cherry Lake is 30 minutes, Preston falls and Carlon falls are both 30 min away. Downtown Groveland Is 7 minutes away, and other historic towns are not too far. Close to many swimming holes. Rainbow pools is 15 minutes away. 10 min from the local grocery store and other local shops. Base Camp is just off of highway 120. The RV is located in its own private “campsite” on our 3 acre property. We are surrounded by other country farms with horses, goats, donkeys, chickens, etc. If you are up early enough in the morning, you might see a gray fox family that live on our property. Sasquatch has also been spotted down the Sasquatch trail at the back of the property. You are only about 5 minutes from town and restaurants. You will be camping and able to enjoy the private area outside the RV. Feel free to roam around the property and take in the scenery. Fire up the BBQ (Traeger & Blackstone Grill), play some cornhole, and enjoy the pool! The owner lives in the main house and is available 24/7 to make your stay awesome. The RV has all the amenities you will need and is located near Yosemite, Kings, and Sequoia National Parks. Take in the views of the Sierra Mountain Range on the horizon above our pasture. The RV has a full sized pull out sofa bed, a dinette that converts into a full sized bed, and a separate bedroom with a queen size memory foam mattress. A TV and free Wifi are included. Guest access: Guests have access to the area all around the RV and the backyard of the home. They also have access to the swimming pool and cabana near the pool. (No one under 18 without adult present)(Swim at your own risk, there is no lifeguard!) Other things to note: This would be a great spot for traveling nurses or tourists to stay and see the national parks. The is no traffic or crime out here here in the country. Uber and Lyft are available - we are a short drive to Clovis or Fresno.

Weekend Trip to River Bluff Retreat

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Magical Getaway! This campsite was everything we hoped for and more! It was peaceful, absolutely beautiful, and incredibly private—the perfect place to disconnect from the noise of everyday life and reconnect with nature. The entire experience felt enlightening and refreshing. The RV was extremely comfortable and homey, with cozy touches that made it feel like a true retreat. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil we could’ve possibly needed, which made cooking super easy and enjoyable. The views were breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. One of the best parts was being able to hike along the river and explore nature without seeing another person—just pure tranquility and wide-open space. Other things we loved: ✅ Super clean and well-maintained space ✅ Thoughtful host who clearly care about the guest experience ✅ Perfect balance of comfort and “outdoor adventure” ✅ A hidden gem that feels private but still safe and welcoming If you’re looking for a beautiful, serene escape where you can relax, recharge, and enjoy nature in complete privacy, this is the place. We loved camping at BaseCampByBo! The location and scenery was insane and we got to meet Bo himself! It was easy to find and Jarrett was incredibly helpful. The campsite feels isolated and gives the wild camping feel whilst being not crazy far from civilization. 30 minutes from some amazing hikes in Yosemite.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location to Yosemite is super convenient and the facilities were better than we expected. Bathrooms/ showers/ common spaces were clean and it was nice to be able to walk next door to the hotel to have access to their pool and fast wifi. I will definitely be staying here again!!

We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect—close to the national parks, and Clovis is such a charming town. As a family of four (two adults and two kids), the RV was just right for us: comfortable, cozy, and with everything we needed. The pool was a big hit, and we loved having it to relax after our outings. We visited Yosemite and even stopped by the waterpark in Fresno on our way out, which made the trip extra fun. The host was very welcoming and hospitable. Highly recommend!

1 night at Indian Flat Campground

This was a great stopover before entering Yosemite NP. It’s about a 40 min drive to the park entrance. This tent is within a campground and next to a hotel, so don’t expect to be solo. But because of this, there are plenty of amenities onsite including bathrooms and showers. Even though it was 106 when we arrived, you can walk down to the river to cool off. You can also use the pool at the lodge next door. There is AC in the tent, but you can’t run it for longer than 30 minutes before blowing the power box.

Love the amenities of the hotel restaurant and pool. However, it was advertised as having AC in the tent and upon check-in, however, when we called for help with turning it on, they said the AC did not work in any of the Jute Tents.

Thank you so much to Jarrett for sharing his land with us. It’s beautiful, private, and well maintained. We had a rough time getting to our reservation due to some car trouble and Jarrett was very understanding and flexible with us. After an unplanned night camping elsewhere, with inconsiderate neighbors, Jarrett’s spot was a sanctuary. We slept soundly under the stars at the top of a hill with a view of endless trees. The porta potty is one of the cleanest I’ve used and the outdoor shower was absolutely refreshing and hot. The location is perfect, nearby watering holes and close to Yosemite, that we did a day of each. We loved having our dog off leash with us and meeting the camp host Bo. Overall, it was a great spot and we will be back.

The spot on the hill was so peaceful. So much better than being cramped with a bunch of campers at a campground. Definitely would come back.

Our stay was fabulous. Jarrett was friendly, helpful, and went out of his way to make it a great stay for our family on our son’s 18 birthday. He set up a hammock, stove, and fire for us. The spot was very private and the views were amazing. Exactly what we wanted. Having access to water (shower and wash station) and a clean outhouse was a major bonus. Perfect spot if you want to be close to Yosemite without being on top of other people camping.
