The Soup is down the driveway a couple hundred yards from where we usually are so you’ll more or less be on your own, depending on if we have work to do down there or if there are other campers. We are happy to chat or leave you be, just let us know what your needs are. If you’re looking for a more isolated spot, see the listings for 1 Pine or 2 Pine.
The 2nd area is “1 Pine” accessed by our second driveway that is 100 yards down the road from the farm. The driveway is kind of rough but definitely manageable with a truck, SUV or sedan if you’re willing to go for it. The drive goes up a couple hundred yards to the hilltop where there is a clearing and, you guessed it, 1 pine tree. From the back of the clearing there is a trail that leads you to 2 Pine, which is a walk that takes just a few minutes. 2 Pine is walk-in only but has great views of the sunset and is totally secluded and private and would be a good spot to either bring some friends for a little sunset party or for someone who wants to seriously unplug. There are plenty of flat spots to pitch a tent.

The marbleized limestone outcropping is a prominent site feature that's culturally, geologically, and historically significant. It was used as a communal grinding rock — Chaw'se — by the Miwok to process acorns into meal for food. This same rock formation was later hydraulically mined for gold in the second half of the 19th century, amidst some of the largest mining operations during the California Gold Rush. Downtown Murphys, our local gold-mining town turned quaint wine country destination, is just 1.5 miles away.
Our site manifests as a spiritual epicenter within the larger landscape, a gateway to the Sierras, a space of regeneration. Fourteen acres of pure possibility for gathering, for staying, for inspiration, for joy.

Historic Brice Station 100 acres, was a horse stop on the Ebbetts Pass stage line. Horses were fed, watered and swapped here, over 100 years ago. Today, Brice station hosts a ceramics gallery and school, vineyard and tasting room, Blacksmith school, Concert series, Shakespeare performances and Master artist, Michel Olson's, Sierra Circles Sculpture Garden and campground. Car and RV campers are welcomed and there is plenty of car/RV parking on the asphalt lot outside the fence at the East Side of the property near the mailboxes at the intersection of Rte 4 and Brice Station Road. Our grassy lawn tent area is inaccessible to vehicles and RVs. Our parking area is adjacent to the highway and may not be what rooftop and van/rv campers are expecting in terms of a peaceful camping experience. If you have tent, it’s recommended to camp out on the lawn. We have tents for rent if you need one.

Weekend Trip to Love Creek Retreat
We had such a lovely weekend at Fergie! The property has so many little spots where you can tuck yourself away and relax, which made the whole place feel peaceful and private. The daybed was incredibly comfortable, and one of our favorite spots was the swing under the bridge. Sitting there together with our feet in the water was unexpectedly romantic and such a perfect way to slow down.
Fergie, the trailer, is tucked into her own private little space and felt like a true getaway. We purchased the upgraded package, which included a tub of fresh towels and extra blankets, and it was absolutely worth it. Those little comforts made the stay feel extra cozy while still keeping the rustic camping experience we wanted.
The location is also fantastic. Murphy is just down the road if you want restaurants or a lively evening out, and we got up early one morning and went to Natural Bridges, where we hiked down and swam through the cave. Such a fun experience!
The entire weekend was peaceful, romantic, and exactly the little escape we were hoping for. We would absolutely stay here again.

1 night at Love Creek Retreat
Love Creek Retreat is something every 20-something should experience! At 23, so much of our lives revolve around phones, social media and the digital world. Spending an evening here gave us the chance to disconnect from everything else and reconnect with each other.
The property is absolutely enchanting—towering trees, a beautiful creek, winding wooded paths and little surprises around every corner. We cooked outside, explored, relaxed in the hanging chairs and sat with our feet in the creek. It felt like escaping into another world.
Our host, Serenity, was outstanding. Her attention to detail is unsurpassed, and you can feel the thought and care she has put into the entire experience. We also highly recommend adding the towel and linen crate—it made glamping incredibly easy because we barely had to pack anything.
We left relaxed, happy and already wanting to return. Put down the phones, get outside and go experience Love Creek Retreat. Sometimes the best connection happens when you lose the Wi-Fi.

Sierra Circle Installation Campground is such a beautiful and special place! From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed. The people are incredibly kind, friendly, and inviting, and there’s a wonderful sense of community here.
There is so much to enjoy beyond simply relaxing in the beautiful surroundings. You can go wine tasting, enjoy concerts and live music, explore the art gallery, get creative in the pottery crafting area, or join a yoga practice right at the campsite. It feels like the perfect combination of nature, art, creativity, music, and community.
One of my favorite parts is all the sweet, friendly animals wandering around — happy doggies to greet you and even a resident cat making the rounds! 🐕🐈
It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, breathe, create something, meet wonderful people, practice yoga, listen to music, and simply enjoy being where you are.
Sierra Circle is so much more than a campground — it’s an experience. Beautiful surroundings, welcoming people, creativity, community, and plenty to explore. I’m so glad I found this little gem and would absolutely recommend it! ❤️

We had an amazing stay at Sierra Circle Sculpture Garden Hipcamp! Emily was a wonderful host, and the property is truly a hidden gem. Set on 100 beautiful acres, there is so much to explore and enjoy. The incredible sculptures and artwork throughout the property make it feel like an outdoor gallery, with many pieces connected to Burning Man and the late artist whose creativity helped shape this special place.
One of the highlights of our stay was Brice Station Winery right on the property, where we enjoyed great wine and had the chance to listen to a live band. It was such a fun and relaxing experience and added even more charm to an already unique getaway.
We also loved seeing the pottery studio and exploring the grounds. Each campsite has its own personality, making the entire experience feel special and memorable. You can truly feel the creativity, history, and heart that have gone into this property.
Thank you, Emily, for sharing such a beautiful and inspiring place with us. We made wonderful memories and would absolutely love to come back again!

Terry was an absolutely incredible host, and this Hipcamp property completely exceeded our expectations. He generously upgraded us at no charge to a campsite closer to the river, and when we realized we had somehow forgotten the tent poles for our tent, he even lent us a tent and saved our entire camping trip!
The property itself is beautiful. We loved spending time by the river and exploring the little river beaches, the mine, and the trails throughout the property. The campsites are spacious, peaceful, and give you plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the surroundings.
Between Terry’s hospitality and how much there is to explore, this was easily one of our favorite camping experiences. We had such a wonderful weekend and will absolutely be back. Truly amazing all around!

The campsites were spacious and well maintained. We were there during the week and it was quiet and relaxing There was motorcycle tent campers next to us that were gone all day and quiet when they returned. The property was unique with the winery and pottery studio on site and also offering classes for the folks that are interested. We were able to tour the property and see the workings of the pottery studio along with all the awesome antique equipment that dotted the property. Very unique and wonderful people. We will camp here again!

Love Creek is an experience of like no other, a slice of heaven here on earth while sleeping on comfortable mattress in a tent, tucked away from everyone in a tidy, neat environment. I loved how neat and clean the grounds are at Love Creek.

Weekend Trip to Strange Ranch - River and Gold
Terry was awesome host and has done amazing landscaping on his property . The camps are level enough for a good night’s sleep and you cant beat the views from the side of the mountain they’re perched on. A water spigot at each camp made things easier and the shower and bathrooms were super clean.
The swimming hole is small but so is the river. It was definitely big enough to cool off in the 100 degree weather we got.
Even though the first night we were there, there was an arguing couple at the site next to us, we couldn't hear them once we were in our site and luckily they left the next morning. It was paradise when we had the place to ourselves. Would have stayed longer if we could have, but we’ll definitely be back sometime soon.

We loved staying here!! It was so quiet and peaceful and perfect for us to do car camping :). The campsites were so spacious, lots of room for kids and pets and to run and a trampoline! Room for more cars if need be for bigger groups! I liked the privacy that the 2 fences provided between the two campsites and the one fence that blocked the view from.cars driving by on the road. The property was beautifully lined with trees and even though there are neighboring properties you just fel like youre out in nature still. The grass was green and watered I couls tell which is very nice of the host being here in california with all the dry grass you usually see at your average campsite. The host was super quick in responding when getting in the gate with the code. I just needed to press and hold down the buttons a little longer when pressing the numbers. :) All in all, the price and the privacy and fhe beautiful open field was just perfect for our night. They did late check in too for us and still were able to help us via the hipcamp messaging app. Thank you Felicha!

We were a group of 4 camping for the birthday weekend. Site 1 is amazing because (1.) you have the benefit of the view and amazing starry nights; (2.) you are just a few steps away from the water.
The water is cool and refreshing. We chilled there from 10am - 6pm in tubes and lounge chairs Terry provided. Highly recommend coming here!

We loved staying at Cozy Cabin. Steven and Michelle are excellent hosts. The property is beautiful and it has every comfort. The property is kept very clean and it has a lot of entertaining features. We loved our weekend camping here! The site is beautiful, and each one unique with their own art. The property is shared with a winery, and there was a concert series going on, right next door, which was so cool! It wasn't super loud, it's far enough away and private, but just a really cool property. The portapotty was kept very clean and there is a proper toilet and sink at the entrance to the site, a short walk away. We loved it and it was a close drive to the cute downtown. Will be back!!
