We loved Malaina place absolutely relaxing and peaceful. The outdoor tub and shower was my favorite not to mention the beautiful friendly pup that stops by to say hi. Location is perfect close to town. 10/10 will definitely do it again. Malaina is absolutely amazing made sure we had all we needed she even let me keep her beautiful bouquet of flowers for my bday. Absolutely loved my bday weekend.

This is perfect spot to disconnect with your partner! We had a lovely time relaxing at our “base camp” every evening after a day out exploring. Very private and host is nice and helpful!

A quiet, peaceful and very relaxing experience. Malaina was extremely helpful and responsive, the outdoor tub and shower were to die for, and the bed was so comfortable. The space felt private and safe. Truly the perfect glamping experience, 10/10 would absolutely go again.

We loved the setup of the area. Nice area to relax out side and enjoy the birds signing. Enjoyed the hot water for the outside tub and shower. Malaina is super nice and willing to accommodate you any way possible.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights after being in Yosemite and it was absolutely amazing! the host is super responsive and helpful and the amenities for cooking, cleaning, sleeping, and bathing were exactly what a Hipcamp should be. there were personal touches everywhere you looked and was super cozy and relaxing. Even though this is between a 1-1.5 hour drive to yosemite, I would recommend everyone to stay here if they have the opportunity because this experience was unmatched and made our trip extra special :)

Malaina’s land offers an incredible experience. The ambiance is truly captivating, and the attention to detail is remarkable. Imagine a farm-style setting with the sounds of roosters, dogs, and various wild birds in the distance. However, don’t let that deter you; it adds to the charm of the place. And honestly, except for the occasional chirping of birds, everything is far enough away to ensure a good night’s sleep.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is conveniently situated in the heart of the area, making it easy to explore all the sights and attractions. The host was incredibly responsive and eager to make sure we had a pleasant experience. Although there were no issues to address, we can’t help but feel that this stay was simply perfect.

Absolutely loved our stay! I have a 13 inch beagle and I thought I would have to tether her the entire stay because the description says it is not fenced. Come to my surprise, it was able to be enclosed that my pup couldn’t find a way out. If she were any smaller she probably would have been able to get through the metal fence. It was so nice being able to let her roam freely. We loved being in sync with the sun and the moon and stargazing from the hot tub! It was perfect for what we were looking for! The neighborhood is lovely, there is even a small farm stand down the street where we were able to purchase some local eggs.

This spot was a real treat! Kind of the best of both worlds---a very comfy indoor bed, but otherwise an enjoyable space to be outdoors cooking, soaking in the hot tub, or taking in the rolling hills.

Malaina was a super responsive, thoughtful and accommodating host! Absolutely a delight.
I've never slept in a more comfortable bed! The heater kept the space warm and cozy. The plush bathrobes and towels were a nice touch.
Just a shame we couldn't enjoy the property fully on our first day NYE (no fault of Malaina obviously). The heavy rain made it a pain to walk to the outhouse, use the kitchen area and sit by the fire pit. New Year's Day was perfect though and we welcomed the New Year with a nice, relaxing soak.
It is the perfect place to unwind, reflect, do minimal things (I did start to get a little stir crazy with the rain pounding on our roof). I'd recommend lots of reading materials, a lantern (one was provided) and more candles.

Malaina was a great host, respected our privacy and wow both my boyfriend and I were significantly impressed with the hot tub. Cool area to explore, malaina recommended a hike that gave a beautiful view of Lake New Malones. The bed was a comfy and there was a gate we could close off our space with for optimal privacy/comfort for puppy off leash. Thanks for a great adventure!

Malaina’s space was magical and Malaina was a fantastic, attentive host. We arrived a bit late and Malaina had started a fire and heated up the cabin for our arrival. The hot tub was a fun touch, the instant hot water was great, and we loved the outdoor shower! Perfect spot for a romantic, private getaway with spectacular stargazing and waking up to the birds singing.

There was everything to love and appreciate about this Jamestown getaway. I felt so close to nature, so relaxed, and so taken by the bird chorus surrounding me. Truly special. And the host, Malaina, was amazing: gracious, kind, caring.

We absolutely love it there!! This was our second time and we plan on going back multiple times in the future. Malaina it is such an amazing host. She makes you feel right at home. It’s so comfortable there. The bed is super comfy and It’s so peaceful. The hot tub is amazing and the outdoor shower as well. We went in the winter and again in the summer and we will be back in the winter again. Definitely one of our favorite spots. We went Just one day and we feel so relaxed. Thank you Malaina!

We spent a long weekend at Malaina’s and loved every minute of it! We enjoyed the outdoor shower and hot tub, drinking tea by the fireplace, and waking up to birds chirping outside the cabin. Malaina is the best host! She gave us great recommendations for local attractions and food. Highly recommend!

We had a very relaxing stay at the little cabin. The outdoor hot tub with the hot water was amazing, so relaxing! The bed was really comfortable and the bedding kept us snug and warm. Our host was great about checking to see if we had everything we needed and was very responsive but we never saw her as she gave us the privacy we were seeking. We loved this spot, very calm and beautiful

What a beautiful corner Malania has made. Me and my boyfriend had a great time! Very close to Sonora and amazing restaurants and fun bars :) Kitchen has everything you would need! The tub is so much fun. Didn’t expect the instant hot water available! The outdoor shower at night was so relaxing. I will definitely be back!

The cabin at Joyful Heart is absolutely magical! We loved staying here (this was our second time) and would love to return. Relaxing in the tub under the stars, enjoying crisp mornings full of birdsong, and having a cozy launching point for nearby hikes in Jamestown as well as for visiting Yosemite for a day -- it's a very dreamy place. In the winter, the cabin warms up nicely with the provided heater, and having hot water for bathing makes the chillier nights really lovely.

The cozy cabin was a wonderful place to stay for a romantic getaway.
Very private and has plenty of cooking equipment and little things to add to the enjoyment of your stay, like a hot shower, hot tub, towels, robes and lights.
The bed is comfortable, the cabin stays nice and warm with a heater.
Outside there is a firepit, camping stove, bbq and sink with running water.
We had an awesome time and would recommend this place as a getaway for couples any season.

Malaina was very kind and communicative regarding directions to the place, and gave amazing recommendations for sight seeing and hikes in the area. Our stay was so pleasant and cozy. The outdoor kitchen/sink setup was so great. It felt calming to get out of the city and stay here.

I had a lovely weekend at Malaina’s property. The hot tub was so fun and relaxing, and the bed was cozy and warm! We got to enjoy making breakfast in the outdoor kitchen and appreciated having coffee to enjoy. This place was perfect for getting to enjoy the great outdoors while being comfortable and cozy.

What Malaina has created is simply magical. As a solo woman traveler, I felt completely safe and was given tons of privacy. I highly recommend staying here, especially if you are solo or with someone special.

We loved our stay here. Traveling with a dog and it was great not having to stay in a hotel. The hot tub was fun and we enjoyed it in the evening and morning. Malians was gracious and welcoming. We had everything we needed. Especially loved the cozy robes since the morning was chilly. Would love to stay there again.

I really enjoyed my stay at this lovely cabin! The host coordinated with me to make sure fresh ice was in the cooler for my arrival and I had instructions to easily find the place. Everything I needed for cooking was provided. The cabin and bed were very cozy and I slept well. Only stayed for one night and didn't get a chance to try out the tub, but the outdoor shower had nice hot water when I used it on a cool morning. My dogs also loved being able to roam a bit in the garden.

This was the absolute best choice for us and our dogs. The host was spectacular in communication and ensuring we had everything we needed from toiletries, activity suggestions, and even ice daily on hot days! Our dogs here comfortable and we were able to enjoy the outdoor tub as a jacuzzi at night and cold pool during the day. We recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing, private weekend surrounded by nature and beautiful stars at night (we were so lucky enough to see a meteor shower). Will be booking again in the future for sure! 😁
