Amazing Views

We have 155 acres of the beautiful Sierra foothills ready to be explored and enjoyed! We are about 10-15 minutes from downtown Murphys. This is a working farm where we produce food for our business, Blooms and Shrooms, and grow produce, mushrooms and cut flowers. We are slowly and surely building a homestead!
There are a few different listings, so make sure to read the details on your specific listing.. There’s the Soup Kitchen which has 3 sites. The End of The Driveway is one site for buses/RVs/big vans. 1 Pine and 2 Pine are up a separate driveway on the ridge. Then there’s the bus!
The 1st area to park/camp is the “Soup Kitchen” near the flower garden where you can enjoy an outdoor shower, kitchen space and established fire pit (see pics of the Soup Kitchen). This area is down the driveway a couple hundred yards from where we usually are area so you can more or less be on your own, depending on if we have work to do down there or if there are other campers. We are happy to chat or leave you be, just let us know what your needs are. We do tend to be social and as an intention I would like to say that I would hope the people coming here are open and friendly and it would be cool if this was a place where campers could meet each other and maybe some new friendships could be made. If you’re looking for a more isolated spot, see the other listing, 1 Pine.
The 2nd area is “1 Pine” accessed by our second driveway that is just down the road from the farm. The driveway is kind of rough but definitely manageable with a truck or SUV. The drive goes up a couple hundred yards to the hilltop (we call it “1 Pine” where there is some open space to park and there’s a trail that branches off that takes you along the ridge to another open space (2 Pines) that is only a few minutes walk down the trail. 2 Pine has great views of the sunset and is totally secluded and private and would be a good spot to either bring some friends for a little sunset party or for someone who wants to seriously unplug and chill on the ridge top.

1 Pine Car Camping
Was fine but not worth the price. Was a dusty dirt patch that I’m sure will get better, it looked like it was recently clear land.

The Soup Kitchen
Excellent location, and above all: zen atmosphear. Kids loved playing in the woods full of small trails, and we enjoyed the "saloon". Nice spot!

The Big White Bus
best ever
This was one of the best hip camps I have stayed in. Ben and Puff are the sweetest, and it was great to chat with some of the other people there helping in the garden. I was gifted a gorgeous sunflower since Ben insisted something special for teachers! We arrived just in time for a stunning sunset hike with a seemingly private trail that starts out just behind the van. By the way, the van was a classic, solid design and clean furnishings and linens with lavender and other emanating right form the garden. We sleep under the stars in complete peace and woke up to the morning sun, and invitation to fresh coffee and conversation, hot showers and even a visit from the cutest bow tie donned cat ever! We support what Ben and his family are doing in this space and hope to be back. By the way, the family were days away from a new baby and welcomed us with open arms to there loving mighty farm.

The Soup Kitchen
Our three nights at the Soup Kitchen were a resounding success. Lots of space, even when other campers arrived. Not a lot of shade in the late afternoon, but the sunsets were beautiful.

The Soup Kitchen
It’s a great quiet place to camp. It still needs a lot of work, but we had everything we needed.
I thought the outhouse near our campground was a little far to walk, if you have to get u at night like me and it’s a walk up a little hill, so be prepared.
The outdoor hot shower was nice.
We had a good stay.
Thanks Ben.

2 Pines Walk-in Camping
Great easy walk-in campsite that felt away from it all. Would stay there again!
