Option 2: From the Centenary Freeway roundabout, at ripley head 21 km along Ripley Road, which continues and changes name to Undullah Road. We opened up our working cattle and turf farm to promote Hang gliding and paragliding, we believe the more people see it, then the more people may like to come for a tandem flight or learn to fly with us. You can buy a friend or loved one a gift of a life time. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property and want you to have an amazing camping experience. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or you can change dates. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy No smoking is allowed on the property, vaping is fine at your own campsite. No glass Policy, bring cans plastic glasses to drink out off. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. Take a walk around the property to check out some of the creatures that have been built out of scrap metal and bush bars that have been built all around the property. If you have a 4wd you can take a short drive up to Spicers Gap National Park. Here there is a short walk out to the Governors Chair lookout with spectacular views of the Fassifern Valley and beyond. We currently don't have a boat ramp however once you have launched your boat at the public boat ramp we have a nice bay in front of the campground where you can anchor your boat.

Unpowered sites can choose anywhere suitable for them. We do have internet reception. Occasionally reception can be weak depending on what the network is doing. Generally, it is not a problem. Enjoy the 70 Acres of shady grounds with plenty of wildlife, including pretty faced wallabies and abundant birdlife. Located conveniently 45kms south of Townsville and Magnetic Island ferry terminal,45km north of Ayr and 8km north of Giru. The 20-acre dam is very dry at the moment (November/December) , with lots of weeds and Lilly pads. Birds are loving it! On arrival, powered sites, please phone our on-site caretaker Dylan 0488 611 706, and he can assist you to find a spot that suits you and your group. Unpowered sites can choose anywhere suitable for them. We do have internet reception. Occasionally reception can be weak depending on what the network is doing. Generally, it is not a problem. Bring Mosquito/sandfly spray especially if camping by the lake. Campfires allowed. Wood for sale, $10 cash per milk crate, from camp kitchen. Please be honest and place cash in the "Honesty Box". Fire rings are available at the sites. Please leave them where they are as moving them is destroying the surrounding areas. Thankyou. Pet friendly. Due to our wildlife all dogs must be on a lead or tethered by a rope and under owners' control at all times. Dog poo must be picked up. No one wants to step in your dog's poo. We are 100% off grid with fresh drinkable borehole water The campsite has lovely green grass, access to the pool and a picnic table, and fire pit. Compost toilet, hot bush shower and rubbish/recycling facilities. We are a small hobby farm with Bee Hives, Dogs, Cats, Chickens (a few roosters) horses, cows and a couple of pet pigs. We are an accommodation camping ground within Crystal Waters Eco Village which is also a Wildlife Sanctuary. NOTE: No Dogs or Cats allowed. There are Toilets, Showers and Camp kitchen use included in the fees. Camping at the Eco Park is great for those who enjoy the relaxing bush setting, birds and wildlife and gazing into the clear night sky. We have an abundance of Kangaroos, Wallabies, other Australian native wildlife and many Bird varieties which is an attraction for many visitors. With powered or unpowered camping/van sites, plus bunkhouse single beds and private queen bedrooms, there are options to suit most visitors. A stay at the EcoPark is a great getaway from the stresses of city living. We provide amenities block with male and female toilets, hot showers, laundry, and a covered Camp Kitchen with cooking facilities, fridges and an oven. The local village green is a 5-minute walk, providing guests with delicious food options from the Coffee Shop or the Sourdough Bakery (some times like Saturday mornings. The Village green is also host to monthly markets and music events, children's playground, shared office space, book exchange, weekly pingpong and exercise groups. Thursdays to Sunday the Coffee Shop is open with ample space on the Deck for breakfast or lunch and catch up with family and friends, or meet a new face. The Cafe is always a favourite for the whole family. The Bakery is Open Friday nights, Saturday and Wednesday mornings for Bread, Pastries and Coffees. Had the most beautiful time here. Stayed at the Creekside camp - wallabies hopping round of an afternoon, ducks and ducklings by the creek, which is beautiful and clear, perfect for a swim and to rest by on the grass. Amenities were super clean; the grounds were kept to a very high standard. Only a 15min drive to the Lower Portals walk too! Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed 1 night with our 2 dogs. Beautiful grassy sites, brand new very clean toilets and hot showers. Host was very friendly and super helpful, allowing us to make a booking change on the spot. The Bucca Hotel is just a quick 15 minute walk down the road. Well worth stopping here, well be back again.

Awesome stay. Absolute privacy, rolling hills, freedom without venturing too far. Even had decent 5G reception to stay in touch with the fam while away. Waterfall was dry on the waterfall site - not a big loss for us. Didn't bring much firewood and there wasn't a lot on the property nearby, so definitely bring your own. Also its a cattle farm - so the flies were bountiful. Didn't bother us but may have bothered kids/families. Bring your gazebo fly mesh, or some mesh face guards. Will be back for another boys trip soon!

Loved our 4 nights at Larapinta. The property is beautiful with great views to the mountains. What is so special is how well the sites are laid out; quite a distance apart; giving privacy, peace and quiet to sit and look at the wonderful landscape and cows roaming around. The outdoor showers are highly recommended. Hope to camp here again. Note that a 4wd is absolutely necessary

Beautiful site to camp. Good amenities and friendly staff. I would suggest if there’s rain around you have a 4wd. You will struggle to get in and out with a 2wd in the wet as it can get quite muddy. Will definitely be going back but will have a 4wd next time.
