We offer numerous camping sites on cleared land lined by trees, near to our gully and seasonal creek. Each site is private and offers plenty of space. Campers must be self-contained with their own camp toilet, but there is a 24/7 dump station just 2km away. A stone's throw from the campsites is access to the mobility corridor/bike path, which takes you straight into Hervey Bay and continues all the way past the shops to Urangan pier, offering 15km of ocean frontage to explore. Our farm is located about 2.5km from both hospitals (private and government) for any care that you may need. All specialists and consulting facilities are very convenient. Next door to the campsites is our fantastic local cafe, The Depot Espresso Bar, open at 6 in the morning. They're happy to take orders for our campers from 5:30 if you knock! It's perfect for hopping on your bike from camp, grabbing your morning caffeine fix, and continuing on the day's biking adventure. Campfires are permitted, but please BYO firepit, and there is plenty of fallen timber you are welcome to collect and split yourself. Pets are welcome too! For the adventurous campers who use swags/tents, we suggest a stretcher and a gazebo with walls for a little comfort. Some areas need 4wd also. Check in is after 1pm and check out is strictly before 10.30am, we promise you will get your 'Heilen Coo' fix 😝 We have Souvineers and firewood please bring cash 😍 Be mindful around all animals as they get to know you, be smart please. Kids can bring bikes, must be supervised at all times, no screaming or running. Pets are welcome, we have 2 dogs Jesse and Cane, who are both very friendly. Our Maremma is an Italian breed of livestock gaurdian dog, he does bark a little at night to protect our pets, which goes hand in hand with all of our other farm noises 😉 Our Neighbours have fish farms, you may hear the odd gun go off, just to scare the shags away from feeding in the ponds. It's totally safe. Feel free to put on some music and have a few drinks by the campfire, but we want our farm to be a place where our animals and our guests feel safe and relaxed, so we do not accommodate noisy parties. Relax and unwind with a book or go for a bush walk and listen to the kookaburras. Watch Sea Eagles, pelican, wild budgies, rainbow lorikeet and more. Our farm is located about 2.5km from both hospitals (private and government) for any care that you may need. All specialists and consulting facilities are very convenient. Next door to the campsites is our fantastic local cafe, The Depot Espresso Bar, open at 6 in the morning. They're happy to take orders for our campers from 5:30 if you knock! Our Maremma is an Italian breed of livestock gaurdian dog, he does bark a little at night to protect our pets, which goes hand in hand with all of our other farm noises 😉 Our Neighbours have fish farms, you may hear the odd gun go off, just to scare the shags away from feeding in the ponds. Highlights are definitely feeding and brushing the Highland Cows, and watching all the other farm animals. Not to forget beautiful sunrises & sunsets too. If you want to explore the property there's lots to see walking or bike riding around, and/or explore the local area - 10 minute drive to Childers, and 25 minutes to Woodgate Beach. Our family loved our four nights at this campsite. We were on site 1 and were on our own for the duration of our stay. The location is amazing; literally a 30m walk to the public footpath, and a few metres further to the ocean. There's a great sandy beach around 100m walk away, which is perfect for a high tide swim. The site itself is grassy and totally open, which is great for solar and gave the kids somewhere to safely run around. Karen was very friendly and greeted us on the afternoon we arrived, explaining some of the local attractions. We would definitely stay again when we are next in the area.

I. run a cattle grazing farm in Duingal, right on the Burnett River, 18km out of Gin Gin and 60km from Bundaberg. We have 100 acres of paradise with many sites to choose from, either along our 300m of Burnett river frontage or along the winding Duingal creek tucked into seclusion. For the bigger vans we have sites up on top of the property overlooking the Burnett with just a short walk down to the water. There are NO Ammenities available so own toilet is a MUST! Bring your fishing rods, kayaks and walking shoes. There's some great fishing here including barramundi, perch, yellow belly mullet, gar - and plenty of catfish to keep the kids entertained! Don’t have a kayak, no worries. We also have kayaks available for hire. We also have the most magnificent sunrises and sunsets here, with beautiful birdlife including hawks and water eagles. Great for bird watching and photography! All campsites have access to the water unless we are advised per booking. Less than 5km down the road you will find Wallaville where there is a great local Wallaville pub, and a corner store that offers great pizza. Telstra is available for communication, and we are also only 18km from Gin Gin and around 50km from Bundaberg. Campfires permitted in the designated areas only, bring your own fire pit when possible as we have a limited number of fire pits available. when fire restrictions/bans are not in place. Plenty of fallen timber around the place to collect for firewood. I. run a cattle grazing farm in Duingal, right on the Burnett River, 18km out of Gin Gin and 60km from Bundaberg. We have 100 acres of paradise with many sites to choose from, either along our 300m of Burnett river frontage or along the winding Duingal creek tucked into seclusion. For the bigger vans we have sites up on top of the property overlooking the Burnett with just a short walk down to the water. There are NO Ammenities available so own toilet is a MUST! Bring your fishing rods, kayaks and walking shoes. There's some great fishing here including barramundi, perch, yellow belly mullet, gar - and plenty of catfish to keep the kids entertained! Don’t have a kayak, no worries. We also have kayaks available for hire. We also have the most magnificent sunrises and sunsets here, with beautiful birdlife including hawks and water eagles. Great for bird watching and photography! All campsites have access to the water unless we are advised per booking. Less than 5km down the road you will find Wallaville where there is a great local Wallaville pub, and a corner store that offers great pizza. Telstra is available for communication, and we are also only 18km from Gin Gin and around 50km from Bundaberg. Campfires permitted in the designated areas only, bring your own fire pit when possible as we have a limited number of fire pits available. when fire restrictions/bans are not in place. Plenty of fallen timber around the place to collect for firewood. 100 secluded acres located on the Gregory River approximately 15 minutes from Buxton township. The property is nestled amongst thousands of acres of national park for bush walkers an explorers. Guests need to be fully self contained and no toilets are on site. Access to the Gregory river enables fishing from the bank and a spot to place a crab pot to secure a local feed of fish or mud crab. There is also the option to put a kayak into the river from the bank. Campsites are located approximately 100m from the river bank so only a short walk to the water. Despite there being some snags, I have caught some very decent fish and crabs all from the property. For those wanting to spend a day on the water, I can guide guests in my boat to help land one of the many metre barramundi that call the river home. There are approximately 15 native beehives on the property and I am happy to show guests inside some hives as well as how to locate some in the wild for the interested bushwalkers and nature lovers. The property does not have power, water or toilets so please plan ahead. Significant rainfall can also make accessibility an issue along the 1km driveway so I would recommend a 4 wheel drive, however if it is dry a 2WD would be fine.

Limited firewood is sometimes available. It can be bought at a reasonable price about 9km along the road towards Burrum Heads.. Campers must be self-contained with their own toilet and shower and need to remove their rubbish. Particularly suitable for RVs and caravans with own toilet. Well suited for overnight travelers passing between Maryborough and Bundaberg, or others needing a few days rest, fishing or water activities. Sandflies are a problem in this region anywhere near water, in the mornings until about 9am and in the evenings after about 3:30pm, so bring plenty of repellent and apply early and often. Sites are 30-40 metres apart with a maximum of 8 vehicles and their occupants in the whole property. No overcrowding! Pricing: Basic booking is for a vehicle with caravan, or an RV, and 2 people. Some sites can accommodate more than 1 caravan - if you are travelling with others and want to share a site, please make a separate booking for them at one of the other sites and feel free to get them to share your site instead.
