We originally booked just one night at Kym’s property and ended up staying for four — which says it all! Kym was so lovely and accommodating, and we felt incredibly safe and welcome throughout our stay.
Such a beautiful, peaceful spot, with her gorgeous horses and chickens adding to the charm. The fresh wild raspberries were an unexpected delight too! 🐴🐓❤️

I loved everything about staying at the wild duck 🦆 site at Squidz camp❤️A very peaceful setting with views of the pond and beautiful bush🌳and paddock with horses too! Abundant birdlife and starry skies sitting around our campsite at night made for a very tranquil stay.
The perfect place to rest while exploring Harvey bay. Kym was a friendly and welcoming host. Our site was level with easy access and clear directions for us travelling in our caravan.

I stayed here the night before my whale-watching tour. I arrived a little late at around 8:30 pm, but they were very responsive and kept in regular contact with me. I really appreciated their kind and helpful service.

Very quiet and peaceful, with picturesque views of the lagoon.
Kym is a fantastic host, providing eggs and raspberries and happy to discuss everything from lambs to horses. We loved our time on Kym’s property and you will not meet a friendlier host! The property is in a great location just outside of Hervey Bay with easy access to the major attractions. Thanks again Kym, hope the lambs are keeping you entertained!

Highly recommend this camp. Lovely property, close to Hervey Bay. Great fire pit and lots of birds. Kym showed us the animals and chickens. Really enjoyed our stay.
Staying at Squid camp was excellent. A lovely place, very quiet and private. Really safe too. Highly recommend all sites. We were in Fruit Patch, and loved it.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay here and absolutely loved it. Kym was such a lovely host, very friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The campsite itself is small, peaceful, and really beautiful, which made the experience feel extra special. We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves, making it even more relaxing and private. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet getaway surrounded by nature!
Very nice host, the place itself is beautiful and a good leveled grass site. All sorts of animals, if you don't mind that the rooster makes a little bit of noise 😀, it's really very relaxing here. Clear recommendation!
We really enjoyed this place. Kym was the best host. Communication great and nothing was too hard. Very helpful and friendly. The layout is cosy but great. We were surprised how much we enjoyed staying there. Plenty of animal life. Lots of birds chirping away. Grass was actually lawn 👍. We didn’t intend to spend a lot of time on site as we had a function to attend. But we did laze around for most of 2 days of our 4 days. Also……

Best part is security!
So unlike caravan parks and the like this property is secure. Also gated. So when we went out, we felt comfortable leaving things in and around the van as they were.
All in all we will go back there when we visit again. Certainly recommend ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

The kids enjoyed spotting all of the animal sculptures in the garden and feeding the chickens and horses
Was a great little camp, the his was lovey and very accommodating, the children loved the animals and Christmas lights, would definitely recommend staying here.
We stayed at a Hipcamp just outside Hervey Bay and thoroughly enjoyed the calm, secluded setting. The campsite is nestled within a beautifully curated garden, complete with sculptures and a tranquil dam, creating an almost idyllic place to rest and reset.
Kym is a warm and genuinely caring host who has clearly put a lot of thought into the space. It feels welcoming without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance for a hosted stay. The location is ideal, only a short drive to Hervey Bay and perfectly positioned for trips over to K’gari, with shops, fuel and the barge all close by.
A lovely, peaceful stay that showcases exactly why Hipcamp experiences are so special. Highly recommended for those seeking quiet, character and thoughtful hosting.
