A quiet family-run property close to Hervey Bay beaches, fishing, crabbing and K'gari adventures. Welcome to our property in beautiful Booral, just a short drive ten minute from Hervey Bay. We're a family of six with four kids, two sausage dogs, and a love for camping and the outdoors. After completing 18 months on the road seeing Australia ourselves, we know how nice it is to find a safe, quiet place to pull up, relax, and enjoy a peaceful night's stay. Our 5-acre property offers plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the fresh air. You'll often spot kangaroos, friendly kookaburras, cheeky magpies, ducks, and plenty of other birdlife around the property, making it a great place for kids and nature lovers alike. We offer a small number of sites to keep things peaceful: - 2 unpowered sites suitable for caravans, camper trailers and tents We live on the property, so there's always someone nearby but we prefer to give guests plenty of space and privacy to enjoy their stay. The Friendly Paddock is perfect for families, couples, grey nomads, and travellers looking for a quiet stopover close to town without the crowds of a caravan park. Nearby Attractions: - Hervey Bay beaches and Esplanade (10 minutes) - Crabbing at the end of the street - Boat ramps and great fishing spots - Urangan Pier and Marina - K'gari (Fraser Island) tours - Whale watching tours (seasonal) - Cafes, restaurants and shopping centres - Toogoom and Burrum Heads day trips Whether you're staying for a night or using us as a base to explore the Fraser Coast, we'd love to welcome you to our little corner of Booral.
