Bring your home on wheels and park up amongst the Paperbark trees and enjoy a relaxing and fun stay on our 5 acre hobby farm. Cost is $25 for two people, add $5 for one adult/child and $35 for a group/family. (Even if you have more than two children please only add two when you book) (***PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN TOILET***) Our property is located on River Heads Road which takes you to the barge to the largest sand island in the world, K’Gari Fraser Island. Paperbark Camp and Farm Stay is a perfect pit stop on your way to and from the Island or for a getaway from city life. The campground is located close to the road so you will hear passing cars traveling to and from River Heads. You choose where you’d like camp. We have a large communal campfire ring set up, sticks from the paddock can be collected as kindling and firewood. Additional fire wood can be purchased and portable fire pits can also be requested for your own private fire at your site. Paperbark Camp and Farm Stay offers our guests the opportunity to pat and feed our animals during the farm walk and take a stroll thru our food forest and gardens upon request. You are also welcome to explore the camp area with our dam and lovely bush surrounds where you will find hidden treasures amongst the trees, a windmill and a high tree swing. On our little farm, we have lots of quirky chickens (who lay the most delicious eggs), our beautiful horses, pet dogs, sheep and miniature goats! Purchase local and fresh produce from 'The Hut' which is our located in the centre of our camp ground. You are only a very short drive from shops, beaches and attractions. The following shops are only 5kms away-Foodworks, Chemist Warehouse, Dentist ,Dr Surgery, Airport, BP Petrol Station, Bottle-Shop, Hairdressers. T Take a very short walk to the Pir'ri Reserve Walking Track where you can do a spot of bird watching or simply enjoy a stroll on the rustic bush tracks. Beautiful calm swimming beaches are only a 9km drive away. You may also like to visit our huge pier at Urangan, or take a walk along the bike path which stretches 17kms along the waterfront. You will also find a shopping centre with Woolworths in this area and other specialty shops (post office and retail). Plenty of takeaway available- KFC, McDonalds, Golden Chicken, River Heads Cafe for breakfast and lunch daily and pizza three nights a week and restaurants in the vicinity. River Heads where K’Gari Fraser Island barge leaves from is 7.5km from our camp and you are welcome to leave your vehicles parked up for a small fee. Families are very welcome however children must be fully supervised at all times as we do have a dam on the property. We do hope to meet you soon.

Paperbark Camp & Farm Stay
Highly recommend!
We absolutely loved our time at Paperbark Farm. We stayed for two nights and then left our van securely parked up while we explored Fraser Island for a few nights. Our 4 year old loved the farm animals, the swing and the trampoline and hanging with the other families. We loved everything that host Michelle offered. Fresh eggs and honey, homemade jam, fresh bread and home cooked meals. We even had our washing done. Could have easily stayed longer Highly recommend!!!

Amazing stay and host family. Actually wished we stayed more time but our planned trip was to Fraser and so we left our vans at Paperbark for a small fee whilst we were on the island. Will stay again. Thanks Michelle.

An amazing family friendly camp!
10/10 stay. Michelle is a wonderful host always making sure everyone is ok and happy. The kids loved the animals and feeding them morning and night and the tree swing was also a big hit! We also stored our van for 4 nights while we explored Fraser Island. Will definitely return in the future!

Paperbark Camp & Farm Stay
We loved Paperbark farmstay. Good amount of space between sites so you aren't right next to other campers. Our kids loved the swing, totem tennis, feeding the animals, and all the other activities available. Michelle is a fabulous host. Would definitely recommend staying here. Easy to access all the Hervey Bay has to offer from here.

Great farm stay close to Hervey Bay
Great farm stay within 10mins of Hervey Bay and the barge to Fraser Island. We had such a great stay with Michelle. She was so welcoming and her property was very well looked after. The kids had a ball feeding the animals and we loved our spot right next to the awesome swing and tampoline. They had great selection of outdoor games and books to borrow. It was such a peaceful place. Thanks again.
