Thank you who camped this year. We have « closed » our area from mid January to April. If you wish to camp during that time message us on Hipcamp, and we will endeavour to see if it is possible. This assists in avoiding overcrowding) There is NO access to our property from Kuranda end! Visitors need to go through Mareeba A beautiful 160 acre paddock that you can enjoy. Cleared slashed areas beside the river. Enjoy a river swim to cool you down during summer and go for a cold dip during winter. River is also good for fishing during the right season. Access to river is 100 metres on graded walking track. Unless you have a ‘booster ’there is very limited mobile coverage or internet. {enjoy the peace and solitude} Access to the property is fourteen kilometres gravel, coming off the highway. Sites are private separated from each other, some sites suit clothing optional guests Site is 300 metres from road and provides privacy. Tents and small caravans are ideal. Not suitable for highway caravans or very large vans as the access will be too rough. There are walking areas at rear of property. Be aware tropical North Queensland has paralysis ticks and we have snakes at times and visiting pigs. Water can be supplied upon request. Power generators are permitted . There may be minimal mobile service with Telstra. Campfire will only be permitted within fire pit. All campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace behind. Checkout is generally when you feel like it. Dog friendly. Site may be closed in the wet season from December to April, once monsoonal events occur

Hold newly hatched poultry, friendly chickens and maybe even lambs. Bookings are essential come by the farmhouse and meet at the gazebo. We are 10mins from Dimbulah or 20mins to Mareeba with their many attractions. We can tell you all about the many attractions and activities this area has to offer. Please Note: Cattle Creek and Waterfront Campsites are accessible by 2WD. The other campsites are 4WD access only and with off road campers/caravans only (high clearance to get through a dry creek crossing). These are self contained sites so please take your own shower and toilet facilities and take away all waste. Well behaved dogs are allowed but must be supervised at all times for the protection of the sheep, poultry, wildlife and not to be brought to the house yard. Sorry no motorbikes or ATV’s. Plenty of room to camp. Beautiful clean camp areas Toilets available and were in good condition. Lovely creek close to the sites. The Waterfall was a lovely walk but be parpared to walk 45 mins one way and not to get lost. They have a few arrows to guide you but towards the last bit down to the water no arrow and we got a bit lost.

A beautifully maintained property with loads of tropical fruit trees and bird life. The camp sites are well spread out so you can have your own space. The creek is private and great for swimming, with lots of different swimming spots. The waterfall hike is a well maintained easy going track through the untouched tropical rainforest. I look forward to coming back again soon!

My partner and I had a fantastic time at Glens property. It was very hot but the creek had the perfect temperature for a cooldown. The best about our stay: No phone reception!! (At least not with Optus haha) Glen was incredibly kind and came down a couple of times as storms approached to let us know. We will be back, for sure!!

Yindilli Camping Ground is set amongst some of the most beautiful open eucalypt forests and rainforests of north Queensland and is located on the CREB Track, a popular 4WD tourist route. Nearby is the iconic Roaring Meg Falls. The track is not suitable for towing caravans. We are 38klms from Daintree Village on the CREB Track (also known as Upper Daintree Rd) and it will take about 2.5hrs to drive as the road is unsealed, steep in sections and narrow. Be aware of weather conditions before travelling on this road as minimal rainfall can make the track slippery. An alternative route to Yindilli Camping ground is from the northern end of the track from Bloomfield via the China Camp Rd or the Zig Zag Track - both meet up with the CREB Track. We are 27klms from Bloomfield or 1 hour to drive, this section is graded regularly and easy to traverse in the dry season.The campsites have access to a freshwater creek for swimming and relaxing. The birdlife is abundant, including the occasional glimpse of a Cassowary. Camp sites are on 2.5ha of lush green lawns, lots of shade and within metres of a fresh water creek for swimming and relaxing. Facilities include: septic toilets, showers, dry firewood (on request) and spacious sites Children and pet friendly. Guests are advised to only light fires in designated areas and these must be fully extinguished before departure.

Right now though in our top dam, we have a flock of White Egrets roosting at night, spectacular when they depart & return each day, however due to the number of these birds, hundreds if not more! they have fouled the water in the dam & it's a bit on the nose.

The two very friendly donkeys love to be with children. The property is in the middle of the Daintree Rain Forest with all its beauty. There are endless walks, guided tours adventure activities for all ages and fitness. Guests are required to be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Pull in with your RV beautiful peaceful spot surrounded by fruit trees and rain forest. Go for a swim in one of the many local swimming holes. Great adventures to be had exploring the amazing Daintree National Park from within, Beautiful Cow Cw Bay Beach is just 3 km away. The children will love the donkeys and chickens. Campfires are permitted outside of any restrictions and must be contained and supervised at all times. Well behaved pets are allowed on leash as we have our animals.
