We are wildlife carers and have turned our property into a wildlife reserve for the animals. There is wildlife including wallabies (agile and betongs), brush tail possums and birds. A night viewing of possums and wallabies may be available. Please contact hosts to arrange this viewing. Enjoy the sunsets as you relax around the campfire. The property is surrounded by various nature reserves and attractions in the area within a 30 minute drive.(Granite Gorge Nature park, Davis creek national park and Emerald creek falls) We have three separate sites secluded from each other. One site accommodates large recreational vehicles, and is drive through, with farmland and hill views. The other two sites are situated by the creek. Please contact us before booking to discuss which site is best for your vehicle and camping set up.  This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water supply. Your beloved pooch is most welcome to join you but required to remain within your campsite and must be restrained during the night due to the wildlife. If you would like to stay longer, we are happy to offer you a discount code (minimum 4 nights) - please contact us prior to booking. Children aged 13 years and under camp for free. Senior discounts available.

We absolutely loved our stay. The setting was just beautiful, the wildlife was next level and the peace and quiet was just what we ordered. Thanks Phil and Janette your place is pretty special, we appreciate you sharing it with us.

Great little getaway
Cairns local - Perfect for an overnight getaway or longer when you just need to get out of town. Great site for our very simple camp set up (tent). Lovely and private. Great fire pit, shady, soft and sandy on banks of little creek. A small tarp provides a bit of shelter and the toilet was an added bonus. Is even a camp shower if you want to heat up your water. We purchased our firewood as an extra and it was great wood = great fire. Has a little swing over grill to cook over the fire. Could just bring your tent, esky, picnic blanket and a few utensils and you’d be set. Thanks for a great stay. I’ll be back

Wow! What an amazing spot. So close to home but so far away. Phil and Janette are so welcoming, highly recommend organising firewood with them, so easy. Feeding of the Betongs and Possums was great. Very relaxing sitting by a fire, listening to the creak beside.

Cute little overnight stay!
Loved staying the night here with our dog. She would have loved more water but she was happy just trotting around in what is there. Was nice and private too. Good little get away 👍🏼

We stayed at Site 1 and it was such a great site! Tiny bit on a slope but manageable the creek was very low our kids spent the whole days playing in it. Very shaded heaps of trees, the wood package is worth the extra $10. Phil was a great man was no hassle getting a second load of wood delivered. Can’t wait to stay again.

Great spot for one or two setups
We lived camping at Phil and Janette's land! Lots of wildlife and privacy, and we enjoyed the big and well-maintained space on site 1. A bit tricky to find leveled spots for the two set-ups but in the end it worked well. Vey shallow creek, fun and safe for small children. Will be back!
