Opened in September 2024 we have planted a tropical fruit forest plantation as well as citrus orchard and with our 50 beautiful free-range chooks (pets) you will have them wandering around freely, clucking away happily.

If you love adventure, Garradunga sits on the doorstep of many beautiful outdoor adventures. Hike in the surrounding national parks; cycle or mountain bike on one of the many rainforest trails; fish or spot crocodiles in the Johnstone River – take a crocodile cruises; white water raft along the exhilarating Tully River; take a dip at the Babina Boulders or Josephine Falls; or snorkel the Great Barrier Reef. Set up camp and use the property as your base to explore the Cassowary Coast, Atherton Tablelands and the Great Barrier Reef.
Toilet and shower facilities are available (please supply your own toilet paper). The property has limited tank water only. Guests must also bring their own drinking and washing up water and must take all waste with them upon departure. Fire is allowed only within existing firepits. Other existing on-site facilities (including water) are not available to campers at present however we look forward to sharing the facilities and other accommodation options with you soon.

The creek runs around the outside so there are a number of viewing points to see the wildlife mentioned above. Site 2 Our newer spot work in progress not so ideal for camper trailers. your situated under our tree line away from the main creek. A smaller paver firepit, plenty fine for sitting around an open fire while watching the stars at night.
Swimming in the creek is not recommended.

The property comprises lush rainforest, tropical flowers, bamboo, palms, and more than 100 different species of exotic fruit and nut trees. We are surrounded by rainforest-covered mountains and back onto Wooroonooran National Park.
To the north, there are amazing views across the valley to Mount Bartle Frere, Queensland’s highest mountain, while to the south, there are views over the property to Mount Mirinjo.
There is a bitumen road to the property entrance, followed by an all-weather gravel road to each campsite. The smaller sites, suited to campers, rooftop tents, and smaller vans, have gravel pads. The two larger sites are grassed and can accommodate three to four larger vans.
Clear, permanent Chooky Chooky Creek runs through the property, with the swimming hole just a short 6-minute walk from the campsite. It’s a great place to cool off or simply sit, relax, and feed the fish. You can also explore the rest of the property via a 30-minute return walking track, which takes you through towering bamboo, giant traveller’s palms, rainbow gums, and other unique exotic trees.
The campground is a great spot to set up for a few days, rest and relax, enjoy the rainforest surroundings, amazing views, and abundant birdlife, or explore the many attractions in the area.
Josephine Falls and Babinda Boulders are just 15 and 25 minutes away, respectively. Both are beautiful swimming spots.
Fuel and basic food supplies are available in the small township of Mirriwinni, a 12-minute drive away. The larger towns of Babinda and Innisfail are only 20 and 30 minutes away, respectively, and have everything you need.
You can take a half-day trip to visit award-winning Paronella Park or swim at the patrolled beach at Etty Bay, where you may even have the chance to see a cassowary.
Cairns, Mission Beach, and the Atherton Tablelands all make great day trips from here.
Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times.
Fires are allowed, but please BYO firewood.
There are no amenities, so campers must be fully self-sufficient.
We do provide potable water.
Please take all rubbish with you when you leave.
Be aware that we have coconut trees near some of the campsites. For your own safety, please do not park or sit underneath them.
Please note that, as this is an agricultural area, aerial spraying is carried out on a neighbouring property approximately once a month.
Also, be mindful that bullrout fish are native to the creeks and rivers in the area.
Phone reception is good with Optus but intermittent with Telstra.
Please do not mark or remove any plants or fruit. If you are interested in anything, feel free to ask. When in season, we also have tropical fruit available for purchase.
If you would like to see and learn more about the property and its varied collection of trees, paid private guided tours are available upon request.

This was a lovely picturesque place to spend three nights despite the rain. We had site 5 with power and water and managed to find a slightly higher piece of ground that wasn't too wet. This will definitely be our go to place whenever we next stay in the area!

What an amazing Hipcamp! Tully Mountain View is a beautiful place, surrounded by gorgeous green hills. The hosts Sheree was so welcoming and couldn’t have done enough for us. There are toilets, showers and fresh water, making it a fantastic spot to stay.
We absolutely loved it and will definitely be coming back! ❤️🏕️

Our stay at Tully was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had discovered our own little piece of paradise.
The private waterfall was simply incredible — having something so beautiful and peaceful all to ourselves made the stay incredibly special. There’s nothing quite like waking up surrounded by nature, listening to the water and being able to wander down to your own waterfall whenever you feel like it.
Everything about the stay was perfect — peaceful, private, relaxing and genuinely magical. It was exactly the escape we were hoping for and one of those places you really don’t want to leave.
If you’re looking for somewhere unique to switch off, reconnect with nature and enjoy something truly special, this is it. The private waterfall alone makes the experience unforgettable.
We absolutely loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat. **10/10 — a hidden piece of paradise in Tully!**

Beautiful location. Site 2 was next to a dam with a lively eco system of fish and turtles.
Host was very accommodating and easy to talk to.
Great fire pits and a perfect base to visit the Cassowary Coast and Josephine Falls as well as Alligators Nest.

We loved this camp. We stayed on site 5, near the shed and with power & water. The outlook was beautiful, the hosts were friendly, and it was handy for the surrounding sites. The amenities were also an added bonus.

I was just passing through and this was the perfect place to stop, conveniently located just off the highway and easy to access. I only wish I’d had more time to stay and enjoy the property because it was absolutely beautiful. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, welcoming and lovely. Would happily stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! The host greeted us personally at the parking area as soon as we arrived to give us a clear walkthrough of the property. The site itself is stunning, peaceful, and offers beautiful views—it's super quiet and equipped with all the amenities you could need. We only stayed for one night as we were passing through, but it’s definitely a place worth spending much more time at. Highly recommended
