I love waking up in a valley, surrounded by nature immersed in this unique silence. The hills around take different colours during the day. Very comfortable and ideal setting to enjoy what Port Douglas has to offer. Phil and Annabelle are great hosts. I highly recommend using this property.

Fantastic location nestled in Mowbray Valley. It is on a quiet road and walking distance to a nice hike (Bump Track), which takes you up the mountain to spectacular views over the valley and to the ocean. Follow a little further to a beautiful creek, and waterfall views along the way.
Great location, being about 6 min to 4 mile beach and under 10 minutes into Port Douglas.
The hosts were very welcoming and met us on arrival to make sure we were alright getting set up. Very responsive as well by message.
Considering the extortionate pricing of the holiday park in town this is a good deal. We would definitely stay here again when up this way.

If you're looking for a quiet spot to enjoy Port Douglas from, this is it. Situated in a pretty valley ten minutes away from the beaches, this site is for one caravan only so your privacy is assured.
Phil & Annabel are excellent and welcoming hosts. We couldn’t have asked for better. We really enjoyed our stay on their property. Phil’s tour of the valley, with our dog in pride of place next to Phil on the front seat, was an unexpected bonus.

Phil's place was convenient, clean & tidy. Was nice to have electricity and we enjoyed our quiet time there. Not a huge space but plenty of room for us and private. The trees planted nearby will make a lovely outlook as they grow. Phil was friendly and helpful. Thank you Phil.

Amazing stay! Super quiet area, suited our 6 berth camper perfectly with electric and water hook up!
Phil met us and helped get settled initially then took us on a drive tour around the Valley and honestly could not have been more beautiful! Would absolutely recommend and stay again!

We stopped here on our way from daintree to Cairns. Quiet spot in a great neighbourhood. The communication with Phil was very friendly and quick. He did a short tour with us to show his village. We got power. Water is also available. Really recommended!

We had a great stay here with Phil and Annabelle. They were great hosts welcoming us and making sure we had all we needed. They also showed us around which was lovely and nice to get to know them.
The camp spot was quiet, spacious and having power was a great help.
Would stay again when in the area.

Phil was a fantastic host! He took the time to show us around and even offered to take us on a lil tour of the valley that he lives in. Unfortunately we didn't have the time but I would absolutely recommend it as it's a beautiful area to stay and so peaceful. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely stay and get that tour locked in!

Great space on a flat site.
Easy access.
Host incredibly helpful ( came to meet us in the dark during a heavy storm !) Took us on a tour of the valley the following morning. It is beautiful.
Ideal location for visiting Mossman Gorge and Port Douglas.

We absolutely loved our stay at Mowbray Valley! Phil went above and beyond and truly exceeded our expectations — he couldn’t have been friendlier or more welcoming. He was always happy to answer our questions and even took the time to show us around some local spots, which we really enjoyed and appreciated. As our first stop on our journey down the east coast, Mowbray Valley set the bar incredibly high for the rest of our trip, and that was all thanks to Phil for taking the time to show us around. Thank you, Phil and Annabella, for such a memorable and wonderful experience. 10/10
