Camping in a quiet, peaceful rural location with lots of space, at a small private vegetable market garden and hay farm. You can base yourself on our property while making trips to nearby Mossman Gorge, Port Douglas, Daintree National Park, local beaches and other attractions. We offer sites beside a vacant farm cottage and hay shed, or a choice of other areas around the farm. Campers have use of spacious, clean amenities with hot shower, toilet and vanity. In the drier months, from April to December, we bale our pasture, and grow mixed vegetables and flowers to supply a local outlet. See Facebook: Pink's Produce, Miallo. Ours is a working farm that the two of us (not young folks) manage on our own. Campers can join in whatever we are doing at the time, stand by and watch, or just sit back and enjoy. If you are interested in growing veggies or just seeing how we do it, then we are happy to show you around. Otherwise you can just relax in peaceful surroundings. Our farm also offers unique elevated views of the local farming area with a backdrop of The Great Dividing Range, the Coral Sea and Port Douglas. There is also an impressive variety of butterflies and bird life to enjoy. Hosts are happy to show campers around our market garden that we start cultivating after the wet season and usually continue until December - weather dependant. Guests will have access to a portable fire place during their stay as well as a BBQ grill and hotplate. Firewood is available for purchase. We have electricity available from the vacant cottage at $25/night. Must be booked through Extras. Our 150acre property has spectacular mountain views, as well as views to Port Douglas and the Coral Sea. There are small creeks on the property that attract birdlife and have a variety of freshwater fish and turtles in them. Nearby there are several larger creeks for cooling off, and properties with horses, cattle and sugarcane. We are a 15min drive to Mossman, the closest town, and 45mins south to Port Douglas or north to the Daintree township. We loved our stay at Kingston Road farm! The view is simply spectacular and the campsite is peaceful and quiet with lovely grass area for tent setup. Toilet and shower facilities are clean, well maintained, and very easy to access. Nerida and Mick were so welcoming and generous, giving us a tour around the farm and sharing their fresh produce with us! We had the best time and will definitely be back in the future!

Nerida and Big Mick were the perfect first Hip Camp hosts. So gracious with their time and land. I would highly recommend—stunning views, great shower/toilet facilities and they’ll even provide the wood for your fire.

We had a wonderful experience at Neridas Land. The location is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, clean, and surrounded by nature. But what truly made our stay special were the hosts. They were incredibly warm and welcoming, taking time out of their day to show us around and make sure we felt at home. Their kindness and hospitality added a personal touch that made all the difference. We highly recommend this campsite and would definitely love to return!

We were greeted by Mick and Nerida who were wonderful. The site has a great bathroom and shower making it glamping. The location is at the foothills of the Daintree Forrest’s. We were given a tour of the farm and the history of the farm. A great tour to take if offered. Would recommend Mick and Nerida to anyone who wants to spend a hassle free camping trip near the Daintree. My wife and I give them 5 stars.

Nerida and Mick were so friendly and welcoming, showing us around their entire stunning property and telling us about their history there. We loved how passionate they both were! A great base to explore the Port Douglas and Daintree area from. Amazing facilities on offer too. We would love to come back and would 100% recommend this stay to anyone.

We received a very warm welcome and they showed us all their land and told us about it! They also showed what they grew on the land and we even received some vegetables as a gift! we immediately cooked with this ;). There was also a separate room with a shower and toilet which was very clean! I don't have enough words for it, but we enjoyed it so much and will never forget this experience and the lovely people! If you get the chance, definitely go here!

This is our new favourite campsite! The lush greenery surrounding the campsite was absolutely stunning - truly a slice of paradise. The clean facilities (shower and toilet) made our experience so comfortable. Nerida and Mick are the loveliest hosts, giving us a tour of their place and sharing fresh produce with us. We can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be back. Thank you, Nerida and Mick, for an unforgettable stay!

This place is an absolute delight and not to be missed. It’s a great location if you’re coming from or heading to Mossman Gorge. The hosts are so,m,e of the sweetest we've met in our travels. My partner and I tented on site. Even though it had rained a lot that week, were nice and dry because we were able to pitch the tent under a wood roof. The bathroom is sparkling clean and water is very hot. It was wonderful to be able to buy very dry wood from the hosts and to have a campfire wherever we wanted. We loved getting a tour of the farm and grounds and were thrilled by all the birds and toads, etc. Highly recommend.

Without a doubt the best hipcamp stay we’ve had. Nerida and her husband are wonderful people. They made us feel welcome instantly and took the time to show us around their property with beautiful views and telling us about the vegetable farm. Wished we could have stayed longer.

We stayed for a night at the beginning of our trip and liked it so much that we returned for another 2 nights. Nerida and Mick (and Lucy the dog), are fabulous hosts and made us feel so welcome. We had an extensive tour of their wonderful garden and learnt so much about their growing methods. Their produce is first class and tastes amazing too! The site is in a fabulous location; quiet, relaxing and conveniently close to Mossman. We felt that we arrived as strangers but left as friends... really hope to visit again soon.

We've been travelling for seven weeks so far and this was the first time we felt truely relaxed. It's location is great for access to Mossman and the Daintree areas. Nerida and Mick are the most welcoming and down to earth people which in our opinion makes them perfect hosts. We only stayed two nights but have promised ourselves that on our next visit we will stay at least a week.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our farm stay experience at Nerida and Mick’s. A beautiful large grassy site surrounded by mountains and their market garden. Fresh flowers in a clean and spacious bathroom. We enjoyed Port Douglas, Mossman Gorge and the Daintree Rainforest from our base here. What more could you need?

Mick and Nerida are lovely hosts. Down to earth and welcoming, with a great garden. We enjoyed our stay so much on this genuine farm stay that we stayed longer. Highly recommend Kingston Road Farmstay!

Staying at the farm was truly one of the highlight of our trip. We received a warm welcome with big smiles from Nerida&Mick and tale wiggle from Lucy and got offered to have a tour around the farm what was fascinating and informative. So interesting to see what a farmer can do in north side of Queensland. We were very impressed with everything we saw and heard. Plenty of space was offered to park our van, and the toilet and bathroom was very nice and clean. We highly recommend to everybody to stay here, not only the beautiful spot you get but also the beautiful people what make this place special. Thank you <3

Big, open property with a friendly welcome. They are more than happy to show you around their farm, tell all about it and even let you taste some. Easy access to Port Douglas and Daintree Rainforest. We went here in the wet season and got stuck in the mud, but Mick and Nerida pulled us out with their tractor!

Nerida and her husband are very welcoming and lovely people. Such a peaceful place to stay! Plenty of room and great amenities! We camped under banana palms and had a fire which only added to our experience. We also got a tour around the farm and were given some fresh veggies from Nerida's garden. Definitely will stay there again on the next occasion!

We stayed at here for a week and had a wonderful time. It’s close to lots of amazing sites, super clean and lovely genuine hosts. The kids loved it and so did we. It was great to learn so much about growing and farming and the land I general.

Can’t recommend staying here enough. Both Mick and Nerida are so kind and generous. The farm stay is a perfect place to be away from the crowds and still close to the Daintree Rainforest, Port Douglas and Mossman. Our hosts were so kind to give us a tour of the property and fresh veggies on arrival. Skip the crowded caravan parks and stay here, it’s more than a campsite !

What a wonderful place, the hosts were so welcoming. Got to checkout their beautiful place and some fresh vegetables. Such nice people. Toilet and shower are neat as a pin. Better than most caravan parks. We were on our own with great views. We did get some rain, but this was still beautiful to watch.
