Nice simple field beside the road.
This is a simple, well maintained field to stop if you're looking for an overnight stay in a quiet rural setting. It's a basic level rectangular fenced paddock rather than a traditional 'RV Park' with facilities, so it's best to arrive with that in mind.
The outlook across the surrounding hills is pleasant and gives the field a relaxed country feel. There is a river nearby, although it's about a 500 metre walk from the camping area (it's not close to the field as the photos might suggest). A fire pit is available in the field and a large marque if you need shelter.
The toilet about 300 metres down the street, so campers should be prepared to be mostly self sufficient.
The campground is easy to find, although there are no allocated sites as the booking form implies and you can choose a space that suits you.
The location is convenient, being a five minute walk to a small village that has a pub and a café, making it possible to grab a simple meal or beer without going far.
The communication from the hosts is prompt.
