Experience a tropical holiday that’s made for families at the award winning BIG4 Ingenia Holidays Cairns Coconut in beautiful Tropical North Queensland. Just seven minutes from the Cairns CBD, this vibrant, activity packed oasis offers cabins, condos, villas, caravan sites and camping sites surrounded by lush gardens and close to iconic attractions like the Great Barrier Reef, the Wet Tropics Rainforest and the Atherton Tablelands. Families can fill their days with fun thanks to two swimming pools, waterslides, a splash park, pedal cars, mini golf and a huge line up of school holiday activities designed to keep kids smiling from sunrise to sunset. When it’s time to refuel, The Palm serves up delicious food and drinks so parents can relax while the little ones recharge. Caravanning or camping families can also bring their four legged companions along, with pet‑friendly sites and an on site dog park to make sure every member of the family feels included. BIG4 Ingenia Holidays Cairns Coconut is unable to facilitate boat, trailer or van storage within the park. Please note that the dual-waterslide will be closed from Monday 24 August and will reopen on Saturday 29 August 2026. The swimming pool will remain open.

This was a lovely family orientated campground with a great backdrop of the hills behind Cairns and lots of bird life in the trees. The bathroom was nice and modern and very clean. The laundry facilities were also excellent. There is lots to do here with pools, waterpark and golf. Pizza at the bar was also really good.
