Buranga Farm is a small organic family-run farm on 60 acres in the Noosa hinterland only ten minutes from Peregian Beach. The property is largely flat with a hill on the Eastern side and a ridgeline at the very back of the property. There are plenty of cleared open areas as well as a mix of lightly treed and native vegetation. Site one and two are located on the hillside looking west to Mount Cooroy and are best suited for couples. Sites three and four share a large open grassed area the flows down to the main lake that offers great swimming. Site five overlooks the lake and opens into a private bush area. All areas of the property are open to campers to walk through and explore. The farm comprises a series of ponds near the road that are in the process of being renovated for Red Claw Crayfish. There are fruit trees and veggie gardens and chooks around the house paddock. The balance of the land is either grazed by our small herd of cattle and our 2 donkeys or set aside for regeneration. Please notify us if you are camping with other campers who have booked a separate site so we can have you camping beside each other During busy times, most weekend bookings are a minimum of 2 nights with 1 night bookings during the week, however occasionally we will have 1 night bookings on weekends. Check with your host to see availability on 1 night bookings. All campsites run parallel too the creek and are situated on the upper bank of Yabba Creek. Some have creek views, the other sites have trees between the creek and their site. All have mountain views. The main access to the creek is half way along the campground between site 8 and 9. Please do not leave your car parked in the walkway as this will block the entrance to campsite 9. Unfortunately, we lost many of our creek access points due to flooding. Our property is situated between Imbil and Lake Borumba on the beautiful Yabba Creek. We have 110 acres, with campsites on 20 acres. We have 1km of creek frontage. The creek offers fishing, swimming and kayaking. If you're lucky you'll spot the platypus in the creek and there's lots of birdlife around so bring your cameras! Kayaks are supplied free for all campers to use. We just ask that you treat them with respect and return them back to their launching place once you have finished with them. It would pay to pack your reef walkers as the river is rocky in spots. There is lots of space for motorhomes and large camping vehicles to maneuver and park. Plenty of flat spots for your tent or vehicle. This campsite has access to flushing toilets (toilets are situated approx. 400m from the camp sites) and water (rainwater), but you will need to bring your own camping shower. Campfires are permitted outside of fire-ban season (please use the existing firepits). The property features a gorgeous rainforest with a walking track that you can follow safely, and you can also access the state forest next door if you're up for a bigger adventure. Lake Borumba is just down the road which permits water skiing, boating, fishing and other water recreation. The town ship of Imbil is only 7 minutes away where you can visit the many cafes, bakeries, The Imbil pub, Sunday markets, Produce and hardware store, supermarket, butcher, clothing shops, hairdresser, fishing supplies, Petrol station, post office and more. We are a working cattle and horse property but we do allow pets, however pet owners will need to abide by the rules as set out under the Rules and Safety "Pets" section. Please note that there is a rifle range within hearing distance from Maluka Park and campers may at times on weekends hear gunshots. This generally only goes for a few hours.

Due to new council regulations, we can no longer camp directly near the creek edges as we did before. Our campsites have now been relocated to higher ground, offering beautiful views of the creek. The creek entrances are accessible within 50 to 300 meters, depending on the path you choose. Unplug and unwind at our 22 acre camping paradise nestled amongst the rolling green hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Listen to the babbling water sounds of Scrubby Creek and the Mary River that meandering through the perimeter of the property for over 1 kilometer. Stroll through our mini rainforest, paddle in the creek or have a dip in one of the many rock pools. We will even let you build as many rock towers as you like! Throw an inner tube in the creek and float around while the kids laugh and play all day long. Let the kids dig holes or fossick for the perfect skimming rocks, ride bikes or play endless games on the beautiful landscaped grass. Plenty of trees to put up that hammock or soak in the creek with views overlooking the wilderness. Sit back and gaze at the starlit skies while the kids roast yet another marshmallow on the campfire. Snuggle up during winter and cool down around the rainforest in summer. Abundant wildlife, lots of kangaroos and wallabies, koalas and beautiful birds everywhere. The backdrop is a large steep mountain that comes to the waters edge, which is where we created the name of our property "Yabba Ridge". We have a variety of animals which are behind high fences, and are very unique and spectacular to look at especially at feeding time where you can get a good look at them up close. With only 4 sites, we offer a spacious camping area, spread out all to enjoy the views of the mountain and creek. We are an accommodation camping ground within Crystal Waters Eco Village which is also a Wildlife Sanctuary. NOTE: No Dogs or Cats allowed. There are Toilets, Showers and Camp kitchen use included in the fees. Camping at the Eco Park is great for those who enjoy the relaxing bush setting, birds and wildlife and gazing into the clear night sky. We have an abundance of Kangaroos, Wallabies, other Australian native wildlife and many Bird varieties which is an attraction for many visitors. With powered or unpowered camping/van sites, plus bunkhouse single beds and private queen bedrooms, there are options to suit most visitors. A stay at the EcoPark is a great getaway from the stresses of city living. We provide amenities block with male and female toilets, hot showers, laundry, and a covered Camp Kitchen with cooking facilities, fridges and an oven. The local village green is a 5-minute walk, providing guests with delicious food options from the Coffee Shop or the Sourdough Bakery (some times like Saturday mornings. The Village green is also host to monthly markets and music events, children's playground, shared office space, book exchange, weekly pingpong and exercise groups. Thursdays to Sunday the Coffee Shop is open with ample space on the Deck for breakfast or lunch and catch up with family and friends, or meet a new face. The Cafe is always a favourite for the whole family. The Bakery is Open Friday nights, Saturday and Wednesday mornings for Bread, Pastries and Coffees. The Conondale General store is a 10-minute drive away and Maleny is a short 25-minute drive filled with quaint cafes, Woolworths, IGA, and many attractive stores, art galleries and a bustling music venue. The property is an ex sugarcane farm on the banks of the Maroochy River off a quiet road with easy access to Coolum Beach and Yandina. Access is via Yandina/Coolum Road, use your normal GPS do not use Google Map directions from this booking Exclusive peaceful camping with five sites available by the lengthy section of river once known as the Longreach of the Maroochy River. You will need to be a considerate fully self contained camper who is respectful of this peaceful environment. Only campers who are self sufficient, as no toilets, showers or water available. All rubbish to be taken back with you. Fire place available (firewood available at minimal cost). Your campsite is by the river, fishing and crabbing recommended Walking distance to Yandina Creek Wetlands flora and fauna trails. Watch the sunrise over Mt Coolum and the sunset over Mt Ninderry. Well behaved dogs allowed.

What an absolutely beautiful place to camp! Scott welcomed us on arrival and he couldn’t have been more welcoming. His decades of knowledge of the area, the history of his farm, the manicured grassed area was beautiful. A nice cosy fireplace to sit by for dinner was the icing on the cake. PERFECT!!!!

We enjoyed having the facilities of power, water and the dump point. The hosts were lovely and greeted us when we arrived and showed us our spot. It was very wet under foot as it had been raining a lot prior to us going.
