Our little piece of paradise is 50 acres of paddock and bushland set in the Glass House Mountains, halfway between Brisbane and Noosa. Property is close to lots of walking tracks and mountains to hike in the area and we are only 5ish mins drive from the town centres of Glass House Mountains and Beerwah. We are surrounded by pineapple farms and honest boxes of limes, pineapples and avocados are spotted along the nearby streets. Our little hobby farm is perfect for a city break! Wake up to the sound of chirping birds and wallabies passing through. There is an old macadamia orchid and we are currently in the process of building a new chicken coop, so will hopefully have hens and eggs soon! Numerous damns and creeks run through the property but they have not been cleared of weeds for swimming. Clyde is our resident horse who will likely come visit you at your campsite. He is the sweetest boy and loves nothing more than a carrot and a gentle pat. He is an old boy now so not suited for riding but is a wonderful companion! There are no facilities here so all campers will need to be self sufficient with a camping toilet. It is preferred that campers bring their own water but bore water can be supplied if you run out (not the ideal for drinking). I live in the main house so am available for any emergencies but will give you your privacy! Dogs are welcome as long as they do not chase off the wildlife and are calm around the horse. I have a dog at the house so must also be dog friendly or else kept on lead! Campfires are allowed in designated fire pit dependant on fire rating.

Some tracks are suitable for all levels of fitness and others include more challenging grades including rock scrambling skills. Our land backs onto the Maroochy River (no direct access but the boat ramp is less than 5 minute drive away) and each site is sheltered by tall trees. There are 3 defined sites with plenty of room for privacy and escape in nature. Bring your own push bike or walking shoes to explore the mangroves and bushland. We have an abundance of native wildlife and it’s a good idea to bring mozzie/insect repellent. We do have plenty of firewood available although if it’s been raining it will be best to BYO wood. We have a communal fire pit you can use (please don't camp on the grass near the fire pit). We kindly ask all campers to be 100% self-sufficient as we do not have any waste, water, or power facilities. You carry it in you carry it out. Our site is 2WD friendly although once again if it's been raining it's best to stick to the gravel roads. Please message me if you have any questions! To keep us all safe, we have some VERY IMPORTANT notes: Please stay on the gravel roads - there are deep holes and drains hidden by long grass on neighbouring blocks. These can cause damage to vehicles and you will need a tow truck to be recovered. Bring your pets, please keep them close as we have no fences.

Weekend Trip to The Greenshed

Ali & Jo have a great, open block with sites that are somewhat partitioned off from the main house and the other campsite allowing privacy during your stay. They met us at the gate & then allowed us to enjoy the serenity of the creek while we were there. Good location, close to the Sunshine Coast & perfectly set up for those that have their own amenities. Hope to come back again!

Easy to find and very beautiful views all around and the hosts are very friendly. The sites was also very big and you are far from your neighbors. Would diffidently recommend for a weekend away and there is lots to do in the area as well.

Weekend Trip to The Rose Garden Shangri-La

Needed a place to try out my camper and this spot fit the bill. Just a one - nighter, chilling amongst the trees and reading till sundown. The small lake is picture perfect, the surrounds are peaceful with clean and handy amenities. I was tucked right down behind the lake, well amongst the trees, in David Austin. Be prepared for mozzies at the usual time. I had sandalwood coils burning around the camp and some bushman's repellant which worked a charm. Andrew is a super nice bloke, made everything easy start to end. Looking forward to returning if my travels take me that way again.

Weekend Trip to The Magic Pond

Lovely area to camp, our stay was extremely quiet and private as we had the whole campsite area B to ourselves making a lovely stay. It was unfortunate that the rain had taken a turn towards the end of our stay however Mitch was very understanding. The shower onsite is free and very comfortable to use, very spacious and clean. Would 100% love to come here again.

We have a young family and this site was incredible. It was picturesque, particularly on dusk. The horses were beautiful, and such a hit with our 3yo. Rob, the host was great and very accommodating. Really good location within close proximity to attractions on the Sunshine Coast.

Everything was just right. Not too jammed in. Mostly level site. Pool and other facilities are in excellent condition. I have a need to visit the Sunshine Coast on a regular basis and this makes a great base camp.

We loved the privacy of this campground. Beautiful paddock with trees surrounding and a running creek. We spent our time relaxing, watching the resident wildlife, including an azure kingfisher. . The campsite was shady, clean and big enough for a small group, if wished. 15 minutes up to Maleny.

We absolutely love Skippy Trails and have returned multiple times. Beautiful property, plenty of space, excellent privacy and so close to shops / coast etc, plus access to highway to Brisbane. Highly recommend!
