Coorie Vale is a 100-acre working cattle and horse property on Mt Mee, within an hour drive from the Sunshine Coast or just over an hour from Brisbane. We have a tranquil camp area on Bungo Creek flats, great for families to enjoy nature, and a beautiful private site on the Ridge, with expansive, peaceful views.  The creek campsites have easy access to the toilets and non-potable water.  Coorie Vale is perfect for nature lovers and adventurers - go rock hopping exploring the creek and relax under the stars around the campfire.  It is steep country down to the creek, so a 4WD is an absolute must. Please note, if there is lots of rain, the track to the creek can get very muddy and difficult. If access is compromised due to weather, there are alternative spaces you can set up camp. We accept tent and 4WD camper trailers only, please no caravans or motorhomes. Our property is dog-friendly, keeping in mind it is a working cattle property.  Children under 12 stay free. Axe throwing has recently become popular within the city, if you must try it on the property , bring a board, our trees are not to be used as targets. Stay out of our gated paddocks. This is for Biosecurity and your safety. We are trying to create peace and tranquility that people crave so much when they get out of their busy lives. We are not the place for rowdy parties or large groups. Most of our sites are nestled on different levels between trees and bush, so you may feel like you are the only ones there. Campfires in the provided fire pit or drum only. Due to the unique surroundings we offer, we do require you to be extra vigilant with fire safety. Our property is 4WD access. You are risking your booking and vehicle if you turn up in a 2WD or family SUV. See Extras for booking park and ride option if your vehicle is 2WD. UPDATE as of late July 2025 - the creek is dry.. Some of our tracks are rutted and may become slippery in wet weather. We do basic maintenance to keep access open for 4WDS. Be prepared to apply your 4WD skills. Kobble Creek West is accessible from several locations on our property boundary. Ideal for creek exploring and rock hopping. There’s even a small lagoon now awaiting. Check out the short hiking trails on our property (there are hike options suitable to your preferred difficulty). Bring your machete for an even greater hiking experience! You can relax by or in the spring fed dam, explore seasonal Kobble Creek, feed the chickens or goats, spot the abundant bird life, or sit patiently and a deer or fox may appear at dusk. Enjoy the evenings sitting around the campfire as you gaze at the stars. All sites have sufficient spacing from other sites to ensure acceptable privacy. You are welcome to enjoy our off-grid camping with the expectation that facilities are minimal. NOTE: Surcharges exist for a number of circumstances, including day visitors and single-night bookings. These can be found in the Extras and must be added at the time of booking for your request to be accepted. NOTE: Please also indicate that you are 4WD and your camping platform and size as you book. Feel free to jump the back fence into Sheep Station Park, but be aware that the park has no amenities and does not allow vehicles or pets. Pets are welcome on our farm, but must be kept on a leash due to the farm animals and surrounding conservation area. Amazing spot with farm animals, great views, lake for swimming and only 12 min drive from Dayboro. We camped with a caravan, enjoyed open fire and wide skies. Very accommodating host with clear instructions.

This place is a little gem. Not too far from town, Bushywoods offers huge campsites on a beautiful land. You can swim in the lake, walk around with the dog and relax beside the campfire! Clean toilets and shower. I almost ran out of power with my solar panel not recharging quick enough but if you have the right equipment, this place is perfect.

He welcomed us warmly and was more than happy to help in any way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The site itself was spectacular and had everything we needed for a perfect school holiday getaway with the kids. We would definitely recommend this place to other families looking for a relaxing and well-maintained holiday spot.

Tony was very responsive and accommodating. The property is beautiful. We stayed down on one of the creek-side sites and being right next to the babbling water was lovely - plenty of rock hopping and exploring to do. The drop toilets were well kept and close enough but not too close. Sunset up on the ridge was spectacular. We were glad we took our smaller tents as our side wasn’t really flat enough for our big one. Having use of the big timber table and some bench seats made us much more comfortable. We would definitely return!

We only had a short few hours to explore, but he headed down to the Northbrook Gorge. Will definitely be again and spend a whole day exploring. Also keen to come back and hike to Mt. Glorious.

Fallen tree 250m in to Aquila Loop/ Circuit

250m in to the Aquila Loop came across a massive fallen tree blocking the path...no way to around or over, especially with a heavy pack! Had to turnback disappointed! Will try again in winter.

The rain forest walk to Greens Falls at Maiala was beautiful! An easy walk, about 5ks all up, through pristine rainforest. Just watch out for leeches, they’re everywhere!
