Was very nice. It is a work in progress and will only get better with the plans they have.
Unfortunately we had rain, not their fault, the entire time we were there, We would have loved to do more exploring of the reserve, and this makes this location ideal. Perhaps a gate to make quick access in the back fence. It is close to everything and a nice challenge to go for walks, either in the reserve, or past beautiful homes.
Yes we are looking forward to going back.
The only criticism is that the shower is over a bath and a challenge to get into. They have provided a step, but take it easy getting into or out.

Kimberly and John were very attentive. Feeding Autumn the alpaca was a bonus as were all the animals.
Would recommend this as a secure, fun location especially for children 12 and under.
Backs onto a great bush area the kids also enjoyed exploring. Thank you.
Great to have a bathroom and kitchen for washing up etc.

Great place to stay if you want somewhere quiet and close to Brisbane. I went with my partner as they have a hobby farm and we wanted to see some animals. But this is the perfect stay for families with kids.

Just bought a new camper so it was the perfect spot to try it out.
Welcoming and friendly hosts, good for kids with animal feeding in the morning.
Shower and toilet up at the main house.
Perfect spot for a one night stay for relaxing and having a fire.

Location is nice and is by the park.. lots of native animals around.
A bit noisy at night, be prepared for the roosters at 3 am.
The swimming hole is not inviting, but its good for the local birds.
Our area had a lot of big dog or human poop around, especially in the north west corner.
Maybe a good idea is to have had a clear area where you can make a fire, maybe suround it by couple stone/bricks ..
Shower and toilet worked and were good and clean. Kids enjoyed the animals by the farm and the area where they could play.
In total all had a good time.

We really enjoyed our stayed. Limited to 3 groups on the back paddock which leave ample of space between campers. Options of things to do was endless for the kids, real bonus. Swing set and trampoline came in handy when we set up and packed up. The children enjoyed the kayaking on the dam and feeding the animals. Clean facilities, short walk. John and Kimberly were very kind and make us feel very welcomed. My children enjoyed playing with their boys. 10/10. We will be back

Our camping experience was great and just what we were needing for our first family camp!
The property was beautifully positioned with plentiful space in the campsite. We loved that the kids had so much space to run around in and play. The owners, John and Kim were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this hipcamp for many reasons:
- good location
- great atmosphere
- hosts were so kind and friendly
- kids were awesome and friendly
- things to do in the local area
- area in the middle of the campsite had a small children's play area which was a meeting point and a big hit with the kids
- the kids enjoyed the tranquility of canoeing in the pond on the property
- the big campsite fire or bon fire on the property was a fun communal area to toast marshmallows
- peaceful area with the sounds of lively and sweet bird and animal calls filling the air
Our family would definately like to return again next year!

Very welcoming hosts, they did everything to make our stay pleasant and fun for the kids! Great for families, had everything we needed, kids enjoyed feeding the animals, kayaking and playing in the playground. Shops at a short drive, kangaroos at walking distance and next to a conservation park to go for a walk. So close to the city but surrounded of beautiful nature to enjoy!

Great camping spot with friendly hosts.
Residential area based on the edge of a conservation park.
Toilet, shower and kitchen all fine.
Shared space with Alpaca, 2 Geese, 2 sheep and chickens. Even got to feed them 😁
Cockerels are noisy in the early morning

We booked in a bit of a day trip as needed some time around a campfire. John was really hospitable. Despite being close to Brisbane and not that far out, it backs onto bushland and has a really calm, serene feel down the back. A touch of rural at the edge of Brisbane.

It’s in a very nice rural-residential neighborhood with some animals on their property and also many kangaroos nearby. The toilet and shower are fine. The hosts are very nice they are both world travelers and very cool. I’d come again!
But, if it’s raining, either come with 4WD or ask if you can just park on the street :)

I really enjoyed camping on John’s land. The place is beautiful, peaceful, and has great views. The directions were clear and everything was well organized. Even though there were other sites nearby, it was still very quiet and relaxing. Seeing kangaroos and farm animals up close made the experience extra special. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature.

John and Kim were excellent hosts. We actually broke down on their land and they went above and beyond helping us to get back on the road, we cannot thank them enough. Beyond that they gave us some good tips for places to go, told us some wonderful stories of their travels and even let us feed the livestock, which includes an alpaca 🥰. The paddock was very spacious and surprisingly level, helping cut down our set up time. It was also only a short walk to the toilet/kitchen area. We found the paddock to be very peaceful, and just a short drive to many shops and only 1/2 hours away from key locations such as Brisbane, Noosa and sunny coast. We would definitely stay again.

Absolutely amazing we could not have asked for better host Kim & John are the most loveliest pure human beings you will ever meet and are the definition of what community stands for. Perfect little camping place bring your kids or dogs they have some very friendly farm animals like bonnie and clyde ( the geese ) an alpaca which was interesting but she was a very sweet timid girl the kids or even you adults can feed them in the morning its jusy si lovely at the property and the people are even better, We will definitely come back in the future 🥰

My girlfriend and I have camped at Vande Farm and we love it.
We have in fact decided to extend our stay.
Everything went smoothly, communication was excellent and clear, John and his family have been lovely (thank youuu) and the location was nice and peaceful too.
Toilet, shower and kitchenette were also spotless clean.
